Jethro...I totally disagree about Bears fans. They do not know much about the sport and ESPECIALLY their team. My favorite question to Bears fans would be who is on your offensive line and I never had someone answer all 5. Usually zero or one was answered correct. They are like hockey fans that scream shoot it for two minutes straight on every power play! Bears fans suck! And yes I have friends that are Bears fans and that suck at being fans too!

While living in Chicago I grew to like them in the late 90's as a secondary team. About 10 years ago it grew to hate. Mostly due to their uneducated fans and nonsense. The last straw was when I went to see the Bills and Bears play. The Bills were losing by over 30 points at halftime and the fans still wouldn't lay off there terrible behavior. The only thing that saved me was my Tasked jersey....they did appreciate that. Screw those guys!

He was the Defensive Player of the Year in the SEC. His measurable lowered his draft stock....but he has always produced on the field.

The offense has not scored TDs in the preseason. But they have not been going 3 and out....which is positive.

I like Orton. Other backups (not saying I would prefer them over Orton) I like are Vick, Cousins and Schaub. You may be correct and Schaub could be over the hill. I like Vick a lot for a back up and someone who could MAYBE take you on his back to the playoffs.

Plus the Pats had 3 years as what they considered was a competent backup (I base that on they didn't have another QB dressed most of that time span). I don't think that was taken.

But, he did cover some spreads. Marrone...fire me, I use advanced math! Plus, I have a scapegoat in Hackett because I never have and couldn't call plays during the game either.

Just like we the benefit of Mike Williams contract and signing bonus already been paid out. It makes his contract much more palatable if we choose to keep him next year.

We have the cap space so this season it is irrelevant how much Urbik makes. Next year may be a different story. Yes, that is also possible and makes a lot of sense especially if they think someone is as good as Urbik or much better.

I think Urbik will make the team and be the first replacement at C and either G position. Until a someone else can step up. I think Legursky will get cut That means as of right now Glenn, Williams, Wood, Pears and Henderson will start. Plus Urbik is 6. Leaving Richardson, Koujo and Hairston. I don't think Richardson or Koujo will make it to the PS. So, I believe Koujo goes on the IR or Hairston gets cut. Leaning toward Hairston getting cut. A couple reasons, he has been out of football for a bit and may be too rusty, old regime, seems he can't play Guard as well as he can play Tackle and we have many options ahead of Hairston at Tackle currently. But, to go back to the thread topic...I don't think Urbik is at risk and will be first man up at 3 different OLine positions. Maybe start at RG too. So, in conclusion, I think Urbik is getting a bad rap too on this board and in the media.

Goodwin needs cut in his second year? He is more than just a speedster too....he is a receiver. Remember what he did in the game we blew the Jets out in as the number one WR. You do not cut someone in their second year, when drafted in the 3rd round and has already had strong games, because you think he MAY be an injury risk moving forward. Madness and shame on you!

I can't argue with any of that. He can't make adjustments during training camp...how we expect him to make adjustments during the season. Hackett is useless and in over his head.

The chance of a player that plays in physical plays and can get hurt makes a lot of sense why you wouldn't go that route!
