  1. I am confused. Are we talking about two much different things on this topic? Bortles and Johnny Football are separate conversations, correct?
  2. I disagree, we found some gems in the later rounds (Kyle Williams, Stevie Johnson) and had tons of busts in the first rounds (John McCargo, J.P. Losman, Aaron Maybin, the list goes on)! The contract seemed very rich. The FO and coaches MUST be high on him! 2 of 3 would be great! 1 of 3 would be dissappointing. Big difference. Hopefully one of or two new pot smokers can stay disciplined. I do very much like the draft Whaley and Bills had! Go Bills!
  3. And, we didn't see any screens last year! Until later in the year. So, that is good because the coaching staff did finally adapt.
  4. We traded our 4th rounder next year in the Watkins trade. We get a 4th rounder back for Stevie. I believe it could be a 3rd and if it is it defaults to a 4th the following year to SF. So, very, very little chance we have a 4th this year unless Stevie sucks.
  5. I don't even know what to say..........like, at all! You can't make that stuff up!!
  6. That is true and if they could make it work would be outstanding. Not sure how they would do it though.
  7. I agree. I don't think Searcy can handle a full workload. And, based on comments by Marrone after the season ended I don't think he believes in Searcy either. I don't think Meeks is the option in 2014 as he was on IR last year and didn't get reps. Also, I thought it was one of those injuries to keep another roster spot open and not sure what his injury was. But, in short, I don't thing management and coaches believe in him yet. That leaves Duke Williams, Corey Graham and Cockrell to fight out the 2nd starting safety and possibly the 1st back up. If I had to pick, I would say Duke starts. Corey plays CB and Cockrell could be depth at both.
  8. Agreed! Agreed! Asper can play Center. Him or Urbik I believe or the only options for back up Center. I strongly don't think Legursky will be on the roster!
  9. He is a the real thing for shutdown corners! Go Bills!
  10. Can't wait till EJ turns 33..............just kidding! I BILLieve!
  11. Jerry Jones hates small market teams and screw him twice!
  12. Bills seem high on Hogan AND Bills would be high to keep Graham. Our WRs in most likely order are... Watkins Williams Woods Goodwin Hogan Easley (STs) I think #7,#8 and #9 are Barden Elliot Graham If Barden has a good camp he will be #5 or #6. Also, not sure if Easley was replaced in the offseason with all the special teamers brought in? Anyone? Do we have a new gunner on the roster? I strongly agree and would LOVE to keep Barden!
  13. I also thought they MIGHT have been able to use a player to move up with Cleveland since Pettine knows them. I guess Cleveland and Pettine didn't want Stevie or Graham because they could have easily been tossed in the trade. Cleveland easily had the cap space for Stevie. I guess that speaks volumes of what Pettine, the Bills and Browns thought of Stevie. That never gets old!
  14. We will not get anything for him. Also, I would have to think Pettine being familiar with the player would lead more to the side of not wanting him! I agree get anything you can for him, but, nobody will give us anything for him! Funny! Also, very funny!
  15. If player A and player B have the same skill set....it is better to go with the bigger man and athlete.
  16. I have only been to 4 NFL stadiums. Buffalo, Cleveland, Dallas (the new stadium) and Chicago. All 4 had more than sufficient tailgating. What new era stadium's don't have tailgating? Dallas is a new stadium and they had tons of tailgating. What are other NFL stadiums like? What are the approximate percentages of good and poor tailgating in the NFL? What would constitute poor tailgating? Thanks all!
  17. I voted Ebron. But, my top 3 for busts in no order are Ebron, Clowney and Bortles. I do not think any will be busts for sure (as none of us do), but, I think they have the best odds of not living up to expectations.
  18. Buy an new Jersey and treat yourself. Keep the old Fitz for sentimental reasons.
  19. I am thrilled new blood has been entering the locker room and continues to. It is just the way it is, but, the players on this team are just used to losing. It may not be there fault, but, they have fallen into the losing ways. Even Wood may have fallen into this category. Maybe and hopefully not. But, I think the players more recent than the Wood draft may not have been totally infected with the losing disease! We have cleared most out. We don't have to clear them all out. But, need to wipe the annual losing.
  20. Go Bills! It seems besides the Mock Draft Specialists many, many members of the media and inside the NFL are really liking the way Bills are doing business these days!
  21. Agreed. The lack of practice and playing time along with the bad example for our young team must not have been worth it to the FO and coaches. I also agree with them. It was just time to move on. And, spend the money elsewhere. TAGing him would have just extended the the process and we would have lost another year at developing a player at safety along with the other issues. Also, strong points. All true.
  22. Great post. I am too young to have seen many of the decades in football. But, from what I have seen and heard I would say '70's or '80's.
