  1. Bad idea. It starts to take autonomy away from teams.
  2. I like the chart!! Very useful!!
  3. Interesting thoughts. But, 99% sure Whaley picked Manuel. Last years entire draft had Whaley's blueprint all over it. At the very least, Buddy and Whaley agreed on the pick.
  4. If this is or were the case with what Dallas would be willing to offer then I am sure Dallas will be able to trade up with someone in front of us instead of trade with us at #9 for that load of picks.
  5. Thanks for the info!
  6. Agree on everything. Question...what is the Vikings cap situation? Do they have room for Bradford's contract? I guess it isn't too expensive since the signing bonus has been accounted for and already hit the Rams cap.
  7. As said prior, I think this is very close to dead on. But, can't come up with something better. Well said and played!
  8. I like Gabe Jackson in the 4th quite a bit. Ja'Waun James could make it to the 3rd round. I would be totally fine picking him in the 2nd!
  9. What about Chricton and Kareem Martin?
  10. Can he play DE? Is he a little small for DE? These are serious questions. If he can....and the WRs are gone and the OTs, he might be a good pick IF we can't trade down.
  11. I am surprised they picked it up. But, it is hard to get elite talent that gets to the QB. I guess it gives them another year to make a decision and/or help him clean his act up.
  12. I hope the 3-2-2-1 is wrong too. But, it could happen. If it happens we need to take Ebron or trade down. I strongly prefer to trade down at that point.
  13. For folks that want to trade down for Benjamin instead of Evans.....I think Benjamin is more of a raw project and Evans will be a #1 WR halfway through this year. Benjamin does not catch as well and it has been talked about in the media that he is over weight, lazy and has character issues. They are not the same player because of height and 40 time. There come much, much more risks with Benjamin. Not 100% sure, but, I thought I read that Eugene Parker was Benjamin's agent too. Not kidding.
  14. You don't take a kick returner 3rd overall. Geepers, Ted Ginn Jr. didn't even go that high. PS. I am not saying Watkins is only a punt returner. But, it should have ZERO factor into drafting someone 3rd overall. I think the Jags will take Mack if he is there. I can't see them taking another WR in the Top 5, 2 out of 3 years. That is something only the Lions would do? Or the Jags?
  15. Stephen Hill only had about 30 catches his last year in College. He was a physical specimen, not a football player. Mike Evans broke records. Stephen Hill is tall and skinny and only caught screen passes. Mike Evans is tall and filled out and was a target the whole way down the field and especially in the red zone. Stephen Hill was rated in the 3rd round when the draft started after moving up from where he was before the combine. Mike Evans has been a first round pick all year and in the top ten for the last 3 months. How are they comparable? Height? Regarding the original post, I agree with everything BUT the Mike Evans. And, to follow up on another post, I do think Mike Evans made Johnny Football. Lastly, on the original post, how can you say no QBs in the top 25 except Bridgewater (so, includes Manziel) and then Manziel made Evans and Evans is not that good. So, neither of them are good and were just very lucky for the last 2 years? Overall, good post and I agree with most of it. Thanks!
  16. If Freddie is healthy when Free Agency begins next year, I think you let him test the waters. He and the Bills will find out his true market value. I think Freddie would prefer to remain with the Bills if compensation were the same. His market value will be close to the league minimum and we resign him for one year. Maybe two and the cap hit to cut him after one will be minimal or make sure it is structured that way.
  17. I like your thoughts overall. I have been against taking OT at #9 for a while. But, slowly moving away from that stance. Anyways, back to your question. I think the 2nd AND 3rd round are deep at TE and OT. I think we can do exactly what you are saying with a TE and OT in rounds 2 and 3 and go BPA in round 1. But overall, I agree Manuel will get a strong OT and more weapons in the draft. Ideally for me I would LOVE to see Evans at #9. Then Amaro or ASJ in round 2. I prefer Amaro. Then in round 3 Ja'Wuan James OT from Tennessee or a better OT. Not sure if Evans will be there then.
  18. I can't open it either. It says page does not exist. Does that mean the tweet was deleted? What did it say?
  19. Most of the predictions so far have solid odds of happening. Good stuff. How about ... At least two kicker/punters will be taken in the draft. 3 TEs will be taken in the first 2 rounds. 5 OTs will be taken in the first round. The Bills will be ranked by most national draft guru's as a C +.
  20. Do you think Bridgewater could fall to the 2nd round? If so, would you want the Bills to take him?
  21. I like and agree with this ^. Not sure on Lewan.
  22. I liked ASJ in the 2nd round. Not sure if I like Amaro or ASJ more. It was ASJ, but, starting to lean towards Amaro.
  23. 1st choice...trade back (unless someone great falls or a great player high on their draft board is there) 2nd choice...stay put 3rd choice...trade up
