There is noway they don't pay him 100 million you think the Puluga's purchased the team to let the best player walk. Until they have a 15 million dollar qb they will have plenty of money . Plus they now have an owner who can pay huge bonus money so they can keep kicking the can down the road.

Buddy was not perfect but he laid the foundation. His inherited a mess, one of the worst rosters in the N F L . He came in stabilized things , started drafting well, not perfect. Troupe was injured so no telling what he could have been. Buddy also nailed a bunch of picks that we take for granted but many teams blow high picks. The Bills did for many years before Buddy. Mike Willimas , Whitner, Maybin ect. As for the 2010 draft. Take a close look that is one horrible draft class across the board. As for picking Gailey, I am not sure what his options were at the time. The team was in shambles. Arron Williams , Gilmore, searcy, Bradham, Darius, Glenn, that is a solid core.

Dick Jouron was the most frustrating coach by a long shot. His try hard undersized roster set the team back years Saint Doug since of entitlement is by far the hardest to swallow. He came here with a very thin resume and acted like he was Bill Parcells. Looking back someone should have noticed his character flaws during the vetting or the interview process. Kay Stephenson deserves a lot of credit. On the mocking the draft they showed Pollian telling a story that he went to Kay and said we are loaded with picks . I can trade them for established players and we can get much better. Kay said no we owe it to Ralph to do what is best for the long term You think Saint Doug would have done that ?

I would change the draft . First night is the Quaterback draft , only qb's it forces bad team to take one. No tanking the worse 10 teams go into a lottery . A team can't pick in the top 3 two years in a row If f you pick first the next year you don't get a pick. You can't trade the picks but you can pass What does this accomplish? It allows the worst teams to gamble on a qb without ruining their draft. I know some teams may have guys they like a little so they would not normally take a qb high but this is the reason the same teams never have qb's . You really need to take one every year until you have a sure thing . As we have seen you can have a very good roster and play 500 without solid qb play .
