It’s division title or bust (updates on non-Bills games)
Chuck Schick replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
I actually prefer that Lamar is inactive, vs him starting and playing a few series then going to the bench. Give Hundley all the reps in practice, he will be motivated to show what he’s got. I’d take him over Mason Rudolph -
Bills @ Chargers post game thread

Just rewatched last plays of the game. In real time I wondered how they managed to get 2 plays off after Oliver’s sack. Now I’m REALLY wondering… -
Cover 1 - Joe Brady 4 Strong Formation
Chuck Schick replied to Scott7975's topic in The Stadium Wall
If you rewatch that play, Allen basically takes NO drop-back…it was designed as just a quick hit to Diggs. When Josh realized that play was going to be blown up , to his credit he knew he couldn’t the scan the field and find an open receiver. instead he just quickly reset and threw deeper and to the outside for Kincaid. -
My son said that play probably looks great against our D in practice, so they keep running it.
-
Have you watched any NFL games this year? 80% of QBs don’t make that play, nor are they making really ANY plays of significance.
-
I was there and it was a great game on a beautiful day. Winston actually lit it up as the game went on..I thought he was going to turn out to be a real good QB..nope.
-
Why not interfere with the guy on each play from the 1?? They would eventually have to kick the FG if it got down to 4 or 5 seconds

I feel like this is a version of the NBA’s “load management”. 17 games, sneak in some rest during the season when they think/hope it won’t affect the outcome of the game.
-
But this isn't college. We've seen how NFL teams like the Bills look at the big picture as far as roster construction, playing time, etc goes. It was just a couple seasons ago that they kept Bates on the bench just in case they needed him due to an injury, even though he was better than at least one of the starting O-linemen (Ford).

I see what you did there….you can cling to the whole “can’t break a tackle” schtick by complimenting his ability to avoid contact altogether. Well played, sir

How is it different?? As he said…guys are literally grabbing and pulling the ball carrier across the line, for one. -
TBDAHOT 24* Party Planning Committee thread

I’m heading up from Virginia Beach with some buddies and will stop by with alcohol, and camaraderie! Maybe a dumb question, but how do you guys recognize one another?? Name tags? “Hi, my name is JUST JACK” -
Beanes drafts rate very highly

I thought the whole point of the term “JAG” was because there’s no difference from one guy to the next. Now there’s a “best JAG” category?? -
Rodgers and even Love were both 1st rounders that their team was going to give plenty of rope to develop. Guys like Corral get a few chances, and if they blow them or get hurt, more times than not that's a wrap.

Well that was an absolute crap fest - PostGame thread

A bit revisionist.. I believe Mahomes’ comment was actually something like “the Bills are maybe a better matchup”, which could mean a bunch of things. Strengths and weaknesses that might seemingly fit better, etc. -
Thanks guys that sounds like the way to go. I went to Hammers last year for the Vikings game. Very fun but so packed I couldn’t really get my bearings. Did sneak in a bowling ball shot though.

Making the trip up from VA for at least one game with some friends and family. It is kind of a hassle to drag a grill/chairs/table/food with me. ( Beer is never a problem or inconvenience 😁). When walking around the lots, I see some set-ups where you pay $20 or so to jump in on their tailgate, or even designated areas where radio stations have something going for those that paid. Does anyone have recommendations or connections to any of these types of tailgate set-ups? I could just wing it, but you know how it can be with a group on gamedays.

What are your plans for draft night?
Chuck Schick replied to BillsPride12's topic in The Stadium Wall
Got about 10 guys who get together at a bar up the street. We throw in $10 each for a Top 10 picks pool. Wear gear of our favorite team. Start losing guys at around pick 20, but it's fun. -
Yuck

Calais Campbell *update beane said no visit scheduled

I would say Von was working out quite well, until the ACL. -
Watching his highlights (which seem to include a BUNCH vs Buffalo), I am a lot more OK with Edmunds not being around anymore.
-
You do realize White signed before he blew out his ACL? And at the time was clearly considered one of the best young CB’s in the league?
