  1. Very late in the game, I saw Hamlin’s jersey was perfectly white. The guy was tentative and nearly invisible.
  2. They started the season, and ultimately started, 2 crappy back-ups before stumbling into Joe Flacco’s miraculous resurgence.
  3. People talk about this notion of “flipping” a QB for a gain. Have you not seen what even borderline starting QB’s get back in trades? Justin Fields (1st rounder—6th back in a trade), Mac Jones (1st rounder- 4th back), Trey Lance (1st rounder - 4th back). What are the odds that our guy would even get on the field to show that he’s decent in time to trade him? is Garoppalo the only one in recent history that actually would fit this scenario? And he was pretty much a wash (drafted round 2, traded for a round 2 pick).
  4. Besides the big-name guys already named, I loved watching Steve Bartkowski. Seemed like he was always involved in exciting plays and games.
  5. To each their own of course, but if you’re truly trying to WATCH the game, you’re far better off just doing it at home. When I go to a game I want the experience, including getting a good look at the players and the speed and sounds of the game.
  6. I am really coming around to McConkey. Allen often talks about how so much of his game is based on being on the same page with his receiver, almost by feel as opposed to rigid timing and routes. Of all the prospects, I can picture Allen maximizing that with McConkey compared to the others.
  7. I get the logic, but does it actually happen? I bet this ranks WAY down the list of importance to a FA or any player for that matter. I mean all teams can now practice in doors, so we're talking about maybe 2 or 3 home games per year with potentially bad weather? Whooppee
  8. I don’t remember hearing any (current) players voice any concerns over playing in cold weather environments.
  9. Yeah, I don’t get the analogy. It’s JUST like a timeshare condo pitch, other than you are buying something completely different than a tmeshare? 🤔🤔
  10. Hand-wringing over a handful of draft busts over the last 4 or 5 years is a waste of time. It happens - and will continue to happen- to even the best of the best. if the busts were ridiculous reaches at the time (Maybin, EJ Manuel, etc) you’d have a leg to stand on, but they weren’t.
  11. I think it’s a little like hockey. The better the players get, the less fun it can be to watch. You end up with super low-scoring matches/games as they don’t want to make the mistake causing them to lose.
  12. Having to win 5 straight games just to REACH the playoffs, and then playing in the Wild Card round, got us in the end. How nice would it be to rest starters week 18 and then get a bye??? Dare to dream
  13. His shank at the end was bad, but the blocked FG may have been worse. I don’t even know how it’s physically possible for a ball to end up THAT far down the field. I’m assuming it hit someone squarely in the helmet.
  14. That roughing call is made 100 out of 100 times. You may not like it, but it wasn’t an atrocious call.
  15. I’d tend to think that for the Bills being at home, this is a lot less disruptive? Mentally they weren’t yet in “game day mode”.
  16. Key play: Alec Ingold’s cheap blindside block penalty gave Miami a 2nd and 30 and derailed any chance at a drive. Early 4th Q. Ended up punting a couple plays later, the rest is history.
  17. I actually prefer that Lamar is inactive, vs him starting and playing a few series then going to the bench. Give Hundley all the reps in practice, he will be motivated to show what he’s got. I’d take him over Mason Rudolph
  18. Just rewatched last plays of the game. In real time I wondered how they managed to get 2 plays off after Oliver’s sack. Now I’m REALLY wondering…
  19. If you rewatch that play, Allen basically takes NO drop-back…it was designed as just a quick hit to Diggs. When Josh realized that play was going to be blown up , to his credit he knew he couldn’t the scan the field and find an open receiver. instead he just quickly reset and threw deeper and to the outside for Kincaid.
  20. My son said that play probably looks great against our D in practice, so they keep running it.
  21. Have you watched any NFL games this year? 80% of QBs don’t make that play, nor are they making really ANY plays of significance.
  22. I was there and it was a great game on a beautiful day. Winston actually lit it up as the game went on..I thought he was going to turn out to be a real good QB..nope.
  23. Why not interfere with the guy on each play from the 1?? They would eventually have to kick the FG if it got down to 4 or 5 seconds
