  1. You guys do realize Knox charges $300 to do this, right??🤑
  2. That poor dress shirt that Ted Johnson is squeezed into....working overtime!
  3. So, other than that, how did you enjoy the play, Mrs. Lincoln?
  4. “Call me old fashioned, but I thought when within 2 months of taking a job you’re openly weeping at work it’s a sign you might be in over your head? But apparently that’s a good thing” Thats pretty funny
  5. I was a bit of a Collinsworth defender until Sunday's game. He is good at talking about the things in which he's knowledgeable (routes, coverages, etc), and relating experiences and interviews he has had with coaches and players into some meaningful insight into what's happening on the field. But he seems to try too hard to connect dots that may not be connected.....lots of "because I said this earlier, now I need to spin what just happened to support my earlier position". (Examples: "Spagnola is going to dial something up here!" .."Don't you feel like the KC offense just needed that ONE play, and now here we go!".. "Buffalo's DBs are playing physical, so that {complete dive by Kelce} is an "obvious" PI penalty"
  6. Nick Wright is doing what guys in his position have to do to survive I suppose. As annoying as he is, I do get a little sense of "wink, wink", that he knows he's being ridiculous.
  7. Yikes. I suppose the only argument in Gregg's situation is that he had to do SOME mental calculations to make the right decision. In Culley's case, it was ridiculously obvious.
  8. His tenure as GM kind of clouds our memories of him as a player, but Millen was a total bad-ass with the Skins and Raiders.
  9. While we fans live and die with each week’s game, coaches have long term strategies. That includes putting young players in position to succeed, and regulating playing time. I would lean toward that being the case here.
  10. There are some really interesting names on the other teams' cut lists. Key and Peele could do another skit.... DiCaprio Bootle BoPete Keyes Sandro Platzgummer Equanimeous St. Brown (I had heard of him before) Coy Cronk Rojesterman Farris Dee Virgin Freedom Akinmoladun Montrel Meander Tre'Vour Wallace-Simms and of course.. Tim Jones
  11. I wonder if there are guys over on the Colts board repeatedly bringing up Leonard's whiff on Josh during one of his TD runs in the playoff game as a reason he shouldn't have gotten paid big $$?
  12. And to add, the TRADE was not Diggs for Jefferson like they make it sound. It was Diggs for pick #22 or whatever it was, and by the grace of God Philly picked Jalen Reagor at 21. It’s a bit revisionist for MN to look back and say “Oh, that’s ok we can just plug Jefferson in for Diggs, let’s make the trade. “
  13. Did he sneak in a Roman Handshake to Beasley at the end? nice touch
  14. I’ll go with Isaiah Hodgins. Going to be tough to get on the field, But if he’s any good he will at least get a look.
  15. Capable? yeah for sure. But Tebow is an all-time great at doing that , and you wouldn’t have to hold your breath like we do whenever Josh tries to jam it in from the 2 yd line.
  16. IF Tebow makes the team and actually plays, I’m assuming it’ll be as QB or maybe RB in an RPO situation. Short yardage and goalline. would anyone be shocked if he actually had some success in that role? The dude has proven he knows how to get a couple tough yards when necessary.
  17. I’m now more interested in how your high-level business meetings went. <F5>
  18. I think most teams would kill for our WR and OLine depth. Not even figuring in a draft pick or 2 upcoming.
  19. I love the Football Team “name”. Like everything, things go in cycles and right now new mascot names are typically just boring and cliche. Simple is better, and this is about as simple as you can get
  20. This guy has Antwaan Randle-El (Who coincidentally also went to WASH as a FA) written all over him. He’s leaving a situation with creative coaches and a good supporting cast..doesn’t usually translate when you change teams.
  21. Within a few years, absolutely. Especially at the price they are charging. That’s exactly what happened to the Redskins. And that’s been a historically much more loyal fan base
  22. The Pats know they have to be good—- like, Super Bowl contender good— to keep that brand/franchise clicking along. The Red Sox can be mediocre for a while and still sell tickets. Same with the Bruins. The Pats have a ton of band wagon fans that will fade away almost immediately with a couple more crappy seasons.
  23. Ha...he more than made up for it through the rest of that game, including the 2nd half kickoff, an incredible return. The dude is definitely good at what he does.
  24. I played DIII in college, but what's funny is I never had any deep appreciation for the game until I coached my kids in youth football. Even with 12 year old kids, you see the game a little differently when you're the one teaching, calling plays, etc.
  25. Playing DE in this system seems to require more discipline than just pinning your ears back and getting to the QB, and this is probably why we saw what you're describing. If he was stressed about keeping contain, it would be easy to let that Olineman get into you on a pass play. He will get coached up and play much more confidently next season I am sure.
