[Name Only Title] Nyheim Hines

Most electric player? I don’t know…he’s good and has had some flashes over a decent NFL career, but let’s not go crazy here. -
Devin Singletary not scoring a TD with 34 seconds left

Did anyone noticeably slip at any point during the game? I think Tua stumbled once, but not really a slip. -

I just don’t get this line of thinking…have we not seen multiple examples of teams doing exactly this? Hell, with that amount of time it would be very easy to envision 2 Hail Marys from roughly mid field. Who the hell wants that, vs a chip shot FG? -
NFL Week #15 - Fish at Buffalo - Post Game Thread

Have you watched NFL games recently? There are several teams with complete secondaries made up of back-ups and practice squad guys. -
THE ROCKPILE REVIEW - No Bills on Sunday Afternoon, No Problem

But can you really keep playing that card when you are the one largely (totally?) responsible for having those sub-par QBs on the field? -

Are you actually referring to Vegas odds-makers as “outsiders?” …making YOU the insider??

A Patriots-esque move...let a guy walk, he kind of disappears, then bring him back for pennies a couple years later and he fits right in. Like J Phillips and Shaq did this year.

PFF grades from KC...(for what they're worth)
Chuck Schick replied to DrDawkinstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
I also thought Hamlin had a poor game. He seems fast as hell but loves to dive (and vs KC, miss) when tackling. Not a good trait as a Safety. -
Lil' Dummy McKenzie.........offical team character builder
Chuck Schick replied to BADOLBILZ's topic in The Stadium Wall
His past play as a gadget guy/ punt returner/ Beasley replacement led to an increased role this year. It just ain’t working. The drops, stumbles, and no YAC ( which was supposed to be his thing) are obvious. Especially compared to legit NFL receivers on this team and across the league. -
NFL WEEK #4 - Bills at Ravens - 1st Half Thread

Stifle yourself - that ball was perfect. You lead him AT ALL and you get your WR killed -
Panthers signing Raheem Blackshear off PS
Chuck Schick replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
Oh he will suit up from time to time, maybe get a couple carries. But this move is essentially replacing guy #53ish on their roster. It's not to plug him in as a significant piece of a puzzle. -

Is this for real? Ugly? -

Blackshear will never be heard from again, most likely. He’s #4 on a team with a superstar and 2 legit RBs (Foreman and Hubbard) ahead of him. Good for him though to get the paycheck. -
‘It’s Over!‘: LeSean McCoy Rips Patriots Head Coach
Chuck Schick replied to Scott7975's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think the casual fan loves the storyline of a guy who is somehow SO good at their job/sport compared to everyone else. Bellicheat was that guy among NFL coaches. Rather than showing humility, his crappy attitude toward the press and others when he did lose makes any current criticism very enjoyable to me. -
This doesn’t sound right

The bolded is true when you hit a home run on drafting one of those premium position players. What if the more likely scenario happens and the player is "good"...that second contract gets a lot trickier as other teams with cap space will over pay for "good" CB', DE's, etc. I also think you could spin your argument to taking RBs early...most RBs come out of the gate in peak or close-to-peak performance. Why not draft one and get great value for 3-5 years? Let him walk when that second contract comes up, and start back over. Spend your FA dollars on other premium position needs.
