Prioritize which upcoming UFA’s to re-sign

I don't know what a normal offseason brings, but 13 of 32 seems like a lot of teams out of free agency. -

Most teams may be in cap trouble if it drops to $175M, so the contracts will either be shorter, cheaper or both for this offseason. If the team thinks that Ford will be a solid guard, I would expect Ford and Ike the guards and Feliciano center, losing Morse to save money. As the cap will likely jump back up the following year, it wouldn't surprise me to see players like Brown, Butler , Addison , Star... restructured to give a year of relief against the cap. -
Fastest three minutes tonight halftime-No Bills?

I think to some fans, the national media reaction is more important the the actual game. I read fans complaining about Collinsworth last night when all he did was praise Allen, the coaching staff, the Pegulas, the fans and the city. People need to get over themselves. It's pretty sad, -
Plus or Minus that Allen keeps throwing to struggling receivers?

Davis has earned trust I would think. Knox is still an issue, but if he's out there, need to use him. -
Did D. Williams Make a LOT of $ Tonight?

Players may want to come here, but they will want to get paid too. What makes you think there are enough quality players that would only require a 'prove it deal'? -

You really can't hide someone like that. I'm sure the league is well aware. That's what scouts are for. -
Eppenesa and Phillips Improving

Butler is playing well too. Former 1st round pick getting comfortable with the team now. Our draft picks and free agent pickups didn't have the usual benefit of minicamps and a normal training camp. It makes sense it took them longer than normal to adjust. -
Collinsworth - Credit where credit is due.....

The fact that so many get so upset when commentators don't think the way they do is rather pathetic. -
Could John Brown be Released Next Off-Season?

Extend him, lower his cap hit and keep him 2 more seasons. -
So if Allen only throws for 200 and 1 TD, he won't be worth top money? and the apostrophe is your friend.

Are the Patriots now the drought-era Bills?

I could see Belichick going after Darnold and spend some money and draft picks on WR. The defense is missing key players who opted out, can see that side of the ball rebounding quickly. -

If they find a QB, a big if, they'll be competitive. They'll draft higher than they have in years this year and likely restock. It won't be easy, but look what Beane did in 3 years. -
Bills sign Brandon Beane to contract extension!!!

We already have him through 2022, I can't imagine a contract less than 7 years. -

What a great time to be a Bills fan. It's been way too long to be able to say that.- 322 replies

The cap isn't settled on for next year. Things could change for the better. 'Per a league source, the possibility that stadiums will be full for the 2021 season could prompt the league to not tie the hands of teams by dropping the salary cap by more than $23 million per team, from $198.2 million. Although the 2020 season will indeed result in lower revenue than usual, the potential of a return to something normal or close to it plus the coming TV deals may result in the league keeping the cap in the range of $195 million.' -

The benefits of having practice squads. The vast majority of players aren't ready for the NFL right out of college, having them practice for a couple seasons is quite a benefit for player and team.
