  1. At the Saints, 1992. New Orleans had a tremendous defense, we go in to the dome late in the season. It was a scary matchup. Thomas had a great game, this was a tough, hard fought contest. We won in a battle.
  2. Rapp doesn't seem slow, just out of position.
  3. Hamlin did a lot of good things last season, but he's probably the slowest safety I've seen play, ever. He's a quality backup, but way too slow to be a top starter.
  4. I'd like him to call a QB sneak off of right guard instead of left for a change. I kinda think KC knew what was coming on every single sneak during the playoff game. I know I did.
  5. He did show he can take a joke, he handled this incident well. It's ridiculous to ask him to pay some jerks $100k fine.
  6. You talk about weird cult of personality , maybe we just see a crappy thing being done to a kid on a very difficult day for him. You seem to be really offended that people are sympathetic to Sanders. And stop with the what about ism with DeJean, he was selected 40th overall, and he wasn't pranked from access to an NFL coaches private information on his to contact DeJean.
  7. If someone on the team was involved, I'm sure they will. But it sounds like someone just said they were from Jax, but they weren't affiliated with the team.
  8. There has been some terrible accidents out here, a few teenagers flipped a cart and died. Happens too often.
  9. Happens near me all the time. I work at a country club and most of the golfers have their own carts. It's scary.
  10. Could the NFL fine you if you did that? An NFL employee was responsible, that's why the fine. Is not that complicated, but you obviously have this hatred for Sanders that makes it impossible for you to understand.
  11. Yeah, I doubt the NFL has the authority to fine the general public for the prank calls. Do you recognize the difference between league employees and non employees? I'm sure the league won't fine Ward as there is no reason to.
  12. Maybe, but they were really good last season without that. I'd love a great deep threat, but, at least for this offseason, it's not the priority. Defense is.
  13. I don't think Beane picks a guy in the 2nd round, not expecting to sign him to a 2nd contract if he produces, which Cook has done. 16 TD's, big plays and was huge in the playoffs. I hope they can figure this out peacefully.
  14. But that's not the offense of Joe Brady , or McDermott. We've become a more ball control, low risk offense. The results were an MVP for Josh, lowest sack and interception totals of his career, and really great low numbers too. They don't want to air it out, risk sacks, interceptions... We have pretty good WR, but they do need Coleman to take a big step this season and Palmer to make some plays.
  15. He needs Johnny Manziels agent. Big self promoter, huge ego, trademarked his name, admitted he didn't study the playbook and still went in the first round.
  16. One report of one bad interview.
  17. Manning's did the same with Eli, even after he was drafted. Archie was on TV telling an NFL team to not pick his son, because he won't play for them. Arch was cut a bit more slack than Deion.
  18. That's fair, but look how Sanders, in his 20's, is being judged and crapped on for a bad interview.
  19. How about the defense? No issues there?
  20. We've become a more ball control team with Brady as OC. We run more often, shorter pass routes for efficiency, but still have the big play capabilities. When you have a burner and throw deep often, you risk sacks, fumbles off the sack and a higher rate of interceptions. Last year was Allen's least sacked, least intercepted season of his career. I think the team wants that to happen again this season.
  21. We lose in the playoffs because of our defense, not because of our WR. It made perfect sense for Beane to draft how he did. We also led the league in scoring last season and we added Palmer, and Coleman should be expected to improve on last season.
  22. If he gets 16 TD's again, that along with the normal increase in the cap, he'll be closer to getting his $15 million. I don't get how you use a 2nd round pick on a player and not expect to give him a 2nd contract, so I'm hopeful that they can find common ground.
  23. He was proactive. We have a stocked backfield.
  24. He drafted one last year, signed Gore as an udfa and re-signed Johnson. That's proactive.
  25. Is it normal to sign an UDFA to a 3 year contract?
