  1. Ahh, thanks for the correction.
  2. Beane wasn't going to spend big on a WR, we need to focus the money on defense.
  3. He just left his radio show here in Phoenix a few weeks ago. I didn't know that he was ill.
  4. But you're ignoring the fact that Garrett had 2 years remaining on his contract and Cleveland refused to trade him. He was in a corner.
  5. He fired everyone.
  6. Of Cleveland fixed their qb issue, they're probably considered a contender. Strong defense, strong oline... Also, you can criticize Garrett for changing his tune, but he had 2 years left on his contract, the Browns said they weren't going to trade him. What should he have done?
  7. If we sign him, we have the dead cap and his new deal, right? If that's the case, should have just kept him.
  8. This will be a fun week.
  9. Cook has a year left on his rookie deal, giving him a 4 year extension $60 million, I'm sure we can go the next two seasons with minimal cap hit, he gets his money and we don't get the big cap hit for a few more seasons, when the cap has increased by about 50 million. I think this isn't a difficult contract to are on. I also think Cook has superstar skills. We need to keep him.
  10. Because they probably want the roster spot, along with the cap savings.
  11. The Browns said they weren't going to trade him, he was still under contract. What did you want him to do,, hold out for the next 2 seasons and become a free agent then?
  12. Or if they refuse to trade you.
  13. But he's on the Bills and had 16 TDs last season, over 1000 yards, big play TD runs, a huge part of our offense that got us to the AFCCG We should sign him long term.
  14. I'm totally in on signing Benford, but I also think we should sign Cook. I think he has superstar talent and will be a huge asset for the length of a contract extension. The goal is to win th Super Bowl next season. Time to go all in.
  15. I'll make them an offer they can't refuse.
  16. They're going to sign a high end DB and probably a mid level DT, WR, then trade for Garrett, he's not a big cap hit this year.
  17. $45 average rate for the construction workers sounds great to me. Seems like a fair wage for skilled labor on such a big project.
  18. I try not to worry about the cap. I'll let Beane figure it out.
  19. We're only over the cap in the offseason, and briefly at that. No team can forever be over the cap, the league won't allow it. I guarantee you that we'll be under the cap when the new league season starts next week.
  20. I still think Beane is totally in on Garret and Hendrickson.
  21. Well, we did make out it to the AFC championship game, so overall, pretty happy with the season. Improve our safeties, get Milano for a full season, add more to the dline... can't wait to see Rousseau next season.
  22. So you pretty much just dismissed 8 sacks. 5 paltry sacks? Jesus.
  23. That's good to have 3 sacks in a game. It's very good. I was really happy that game.
