    We're only over the cap in the offseason, and briefly at that. No team can forever be over the cap, the league won't allow it. I guarantee you that we'll be under the cap when the new league season starts next week.

    Well, we did make out it to the AFC championship game, so overall, pretty happy with the season. Improve our safeties, get Milano for a full season, add more to the dline... can't wait to see Rousseau next season.

    I don't think so. I'm guessing Rousseau's cap hit went down for 2025, and probably backloaded a bit. Beane knows he has to improve the dline.

    They were super bowl contenders last season, they were in the NFC championship game.

    Yes, at the price. Which we don't know at this point. We need to win a super bowl in the next couple of years. Gotta go all in.

    Along with other expected upgrades at safety and DL, he must certainly does. He's the type of player that will make Rousseau better, Oliver, Milano... It's a no brainer in my opinion.

    If they want, they can sign him and still draft DL.

    I'm fairly certain that the vast majority of free agency and draft work will be for defense. But I think they'll try to address WR also, I think they need another top tier option if available.
