What if it's already healed? It seems everyone thinks that no matter when a player comes back, they should always take another week off, 'just to be sure'. If he's healthy, he should play. If there is a risk of re-injury just by playing, then he's not ready to play.

I could see Belichick going after Darnold and spend some money and draft picks on WR. The defense is missing key players who opted out, can see that side of the ball rebounding quickly.
