He’s been a reputed malcontent since his days at Ped State. I get that you don’t like Jerry but he did state that he is willing to make Parsons the highest paid/guaranteed non QB in league history. I’m not sure it’s a one way street. Parsons’ agent has been fired by another prominent player….forgot who maybe Higgins…..and then a deal got done.

When we played Dalllas we targeted his shortcomings and the game was over by mid second quarter.

Just finished watching the Padres beat the Dodgers in an excellent game. Several clutch defensive plays and great pitching from both teams. The outcome was in doubt for the entire game up until the last pitch. San Diego has a great crowd. Fun, fun game. Padres bullpen is so sick. Morejon, Estrada, Adam, Miller Suarez……..seriously?

Discussing playing on Friday and letting the coach know you wouldn’t play is FAR different than what you typed which is that Cook was “asked to go in the game”. That makes it sound like McD said “Cook you’re in” and Cook said “Nah, go ahead Ray”. That is not what happened.

What report? McD said they discussed it Friday. He also said he wanted him to play but that he knew he wasn’t going to play. It’s not as if he was told to go in a huddle and said no.
