I sure hope that not too many history books are written with the professionalism, dignity and respect for the complete picture brought to work everyday by Sullivan. Alas, there are probably many that were.
The QBs in this class...at least the top 4.....all have shown potential and all have question marks.
Darnold: Classic team leader? Favre without the stupid picks? Or perhaps Dave Krieg part 2 and his bazillion fumbles.
Allen:. Classic big armed drop back Dan Marino or can't hit the side of a barn Bortles?
Mayfield: Brees? or Flutie's crappiness coupled with Manziel's professionalism?
Rosen:. The complete package or arrogant douches whose durability makes Rob Johnson look like Cal Ripken?
The flaw here is the assumption that only the Bills want Mayfield or that somehow the four teams owning the top five picks don't need QB. They all need one. Pick 4 is our only shot and it would mean Cleveland consciously deciding to pick up a HOF potential talent at positions that could help them immensely.
Honestly is it really worse than saying that teams must always do "whatever it takes at all costs all the time" to draft a franchise QB but thinking Giants will be just fine trading the 2 pick? How could he possibly make less sense than that?
Did Tim Murray purposely sabotage the Sabres because Uncle Bwian hated Lindy? If he did or if he didn't, he could be the worst GM in the history of sports.
Ralph was a smart business man which led to his team staying put. We should hate him for it.
Modell was a bad business man which led to his team moving. We should love him for it.
Did I get that right?
Drunk Bobby was an epic fan before he bought the team that had been saved by Ralph. Before Ralph was even dead he was planning to help Bon Jersey move Ralph's team. I suppose that means we should love him.
And that epically selfish gift of 900m. That was a doozy. What a jerk. And all that research money that helped old time rival Nick B and ultimately Kevin Everett? There is a special place in hell just for that I suppose.
