Roberts? He the whiniest of the whiny. The other three guys are easy to like but the team is just buying everything. They have a billion home grown pitchers that they got injured so they went on a shopping spree.

The Padres are an ownership mess because of a death. Your O’s have a shiny new owner but they’re starting to look like the Tim Murray Sabres. They’ve actively sabotaged Kjerstad, added no pitching, signed scrubs galore……WTF are they doing? Are they going to ruin Mayo next by playing him twice a week? They had a legitimate chance for long term success. It’s still there but they are blowing it. The Red Sox are coming fast.

There are no more ratings to be had after tomorrow. A few bad calls against the Chiefs a voila …. No more conspiracy……until September when it’s Taylor time again. Just a theory.

I have a theory that the NFL has taken too much heat and the refs will reverse tomorrow. The Swifties will be watching and that’s all they really need. Help the Eagles to “disprove” the Chiefs stuff. I care more about next season. I’m not watching the game.

I read somewhere that he was with the trainers at the time. Sorry, no link. But…..there was a play down by the goal line in the late third quarter…..it might have been the play right before the TD but definitely within a few plays…..where Cook came back to the huddle looking at his hand and fidgeting. At first I thought his glove might have just slipped loose a little but he kept working on it, looking at it. He scored his 4th down TD after that so I thought he was ok but he wasn’t in there much more if at all for a while after.

Cook was hurt.

Lamar through 2023 was a great talent lacking some recognition and target selection. Lamar 2024 was complete. He’s really on that elite level IMO. I think Burrow is behind the other 3 because he is a bit of a douche and because of injury concerns, but that’s just me. He isn’t a throwaway that’s for sure. There are some other guys like Daniels that are too young to judge whether they can sustain but sure look promising. The sand is running through Herbert and Lawrence’s hourglasses.

I Love Cecile by the GoGos sucks. Awful song. I guess they deserve some credit for coming out so publicly at a time when that wasn’t so easy……but the song sucks.

What did he come back from? Tips that were unfrosted? Yes he was injured but it was a “normal” injury, nothing like what Dobbins had to overcome much less Damar. Darnold obviously has a big shot. He came back from sucking. More of a “most improved” than a comeback IMO.

Especially since Watson had already been on the Texans for a year.

Actually that’s a funny story. I didn’t do anything like that. But in another class I had this snooty professor that thought he knew everything about business. He was living in the 1940s. He tried to sabotage my education. His girlfriend taught a Shakespeare class. I told her to call me some time when she had no class. She knew what I meant. Then I tamed her shrew. That other guy was pissed.

This crazy history prof I had asked a question about the Vietnam war in class. Some goody two shoes girl answered it right out a politically correct textbook. At first he looked a little ticked off but was sort of nice to her. But then he snapped and started screaming at her about rice paddies and stuff. It got really loud. I stepped in to help her by criticizing General MacArthur.
