  1. It seems like the two movies that I will always stop to watch flipping through the channels are: Castaway, and A Few Good Men.
  2. I do think having some better LB play would cover up the safety issues. But without Milano, that seems doubtful. I think Dorian williams has had some issues in the run game and coverage.
  3. Excellent! Let’s get back to greatness!
  4. agreed. Not buying this at all.
  5. I think the team is fine with Hamlin/Rapp back there. I don’t get it myself.
  6. agree. Really any guy can catch a Hail Mary against our defense at this point.
  7. I love how Kincaid and Knox are obsessed with getting the lead in the 4th quarter so they can play Mr. Brightside. It’s their number 1 priority.
  8. I like Lamar and he probably deserves the MVP. but in terms of the more clutch QB, Allen is better by a mile.
  9. BTW, we should start a new thread! This thing is at 140 pages! I remember in the early 2000s, we used to do a new one each season (although maybe that’s because there was more to talk about back then!).
  10. At the time, it seemed like the bills were obsessed with these d-linemen that could play multiple positions on the line. I have a feeling they loved Boogie for that— could slide inside if needed. They seem to have gone away from that now.
  11. this needs a Rocky-like montage with it too.
  12. what makes the boogie pick painful is that we really needed an interior olineman, many of us wanted creed Humphrey, and they passed on him for boogie and the chiefs took Humphrey two picks later.
  13. I bet he goes to Pittsburgh.
  14. Re the Ravens game, I would still argue that that game would have been totally different but for the terrible trick play. 21-10, and we are driving really well. We get a TD there instead of a fumble, and it is a tight one.
  15. These Alabama wide receivers seem to be total head cases (with the exception of our Amari Cooper, of course! 😃 ).
  16. When I think of playing the Seahawks, this is the one play that always comes to mind: fake sneak by Bledsoe.
  17. I would rather play weak teams. Stack a lot of wins and stay healthy. This team is playoff tested, and will be ready to play the big boys come playoff time.
  18. Gotta do the Mike Mularkey cheeseburger outing trick!! Works every time on a trip to Seattle!
  19. drives me nuts too, including the spiking the ball at the RB’s feet on a busted screen. They need to change that rule. If you have a busted screen, then that’s on the offense. You either throw a semi-catchable ball at the RB or you have to eat it.
  20. 1) To those blaming the loss of key ST players, those guys weren’t very good either. Neal and mantkaveitch were overrated. Neal had no spatial skills— couldn’t down a punt to save his life. I view the ST problems as really being a multi-year issue. 2) I agree with those who blame the coverage unit more than Martin. Martin actually had a well placed punt or two that our cover guys couldn’t down. I have no idea how our team is incapable of downing a punt inside the 5 or 10, yet everyone else does it regularly. 3) that whiff by Solomon and near block by Martin isn’t something to ignore. We have had similar breakdowns the last two years. There is no way that we should be seeing free rushers. It’s embarrassing.
  21. I hate to complain after a win, but I am really concerned about our special teams. We all know the issues with Bass. But beyond that, we have allowed multiple FG/PAT blocks, Martin almost had a punt blocked yesterday, and our coverage teams are generally terrible (which is reflective of Martin having one of the worst net averages and also us having almost no downed punts). Coddrington has been decent enough as a return guy, which is probably the only bright spot. But we have otherwise really generated no positive big plays on ST. what gives? And any ideas how to fix it? in the playoffs, the teams that win, tend to make the big splash plays on defense and special teams.
  22. Foolishly wore a super fancy bills hoodie that I never wear during the first half. Took it off at halftime, and the rest is history.
  23. gotta go to that red line, Garrett. Maybe he will be in the Red Line Dog House with Mike Williams.
  24. Wow! Amazing tackle by DaVonte Adams, per Colinsworth!
  25. You could call PI on the Jets DBs on literally every pass play.
