  1. talk about poking the bear.
  2. I bet Allen wins MVP. This is a compromise vote. Give Lamar first team all pro and Allen MVP.
  3. awesome re Ingram. I was worried about him. He is really turning into a great STer and obviously great depth guy at corner.
  4. I am seeing a pretty ho hum forecast for Sunday. About 29 degrees. No wind or snow to speak of. Shouldn’t be a factor really for either team.
  5. my view on Texas might be skewed by how they looked early in the year. I didn’t seem them too much as the season went on. I know they started very hot.
  6. I can see why he is also good at golf. These mechanics issues are so similar, and you develop the right “feel” and “swing thought” (or “throwing thought”) to get the mechanics ingrained is a similar concept as in golf.
  7. Both QBs are mid. What’s funny is that there was chatter about Allar declaring early and thinking the browns would draft him at 2. He didn’t make a single NFL quality throw in that game. I have no dog in this fight, but Penn State just blew a game they should have won by 14 points. Notre Dame with a gritty win, but they are going to be beat by like 4 TDs in the title game.
  8. Agree. Smiley needs to just get out of the way basically, and not be the absolute worst— a very low threshold.
  9. Thanks for this! if you think about it, when has a spy really every truly worked against Josh? I guess if I am the broncos, I think about maybe trying to rush 4 as much as possible, keep a spy, and really play tight man coverage at every level, including on the check downs. But even then, I suspect we will run it down their throats.
  10. by comparison, they only sacked Lamar once, and the ravens beat them 41-10. Lamar 16/19 for 280 yards. Henry over 100’yards.
  11. Broncos have definitely had some huge sack games. 7 against the bengals. I think 6 against the Bucs. It seems like the games where they didn’t get a lot of sacks, they struggled more. if we don’t give up more than 1-2 sacks, it’s going to be tough for them to get us “off schedule.”
  12. I don’t think McD would dare bring up a PS player in a playoff game.
  13. the bills special teams just has to be able to NOT lose the game. Can’t have Blocked punts, fumbled returns, bad ST penalties, missed PATs. Just play average to below average, not terrible.
  14. I think it was Tom Krumrie who called him a “rolling ball of butcher knives.”
  15. wondering what’s going on with ingram now? I think we could use him out there, especially on ST and for depth. He was great as a gunner last week.
  16. i am a big Tomlin fan. He kind of gets a little of a bum rap in the sense that he hasn’t had a great QB for a long time going into the playoffs. Tough to win without one.
  17. I would bet Zay is out through the AFC playoffs. And I think the Steelers have a 50/50 chance of winning this game.
  18. GB has been my SB sleeper all year. Love has to be healthy though.
  19. I think we will be pleasantly surprised by this defense in the playoffs. Gut feeling. Re-watching highlights from some of the earlier season games, and I have faith they have it in them.
  20. One of the reasons for the Bills’ success this year has been their amazing efficiency in the red zone. About 72%!! we sort of take it for granted, but they have run the ball very effectively near the goal line and have schemed open some other very nice plays (as well Josh’s usual magic). https://www.teamrankings.com/nfl/stat/red-zone-scoring-pct
  21. Am I right that it was up to Cine? He could have opted to stay with the Bills as a PS player rather than go to eagles? if so, I suspect he may have done this for the money more than anything.
  22. That Denver game (in particular, the blocked FG return) was the defining moment in the Bills franchise’s history, I would argue.
  23. Did someone say comp picks?
