  1. I am not sure it’s so easy though to say that when Henry doesn’t hit 100, they lose. In their losses, Henry still had great games, and the ravens pretty much lost each one by one score. I think the losses came down to more being about a key turnover or a big play here or there. Just overall execution.
  2. agree. AJE has sort of vanished.
  3. I just used the dime thing as an example. I have no idea what McD is scheming up. But I do think they are going to have to be fast enough on the edge to stop those Lamar read options.
  4. I have to think McD and Babich are sort of excited about this. Probably the biggest challenge they have ever faced in terms of creating a scheme to stop an explosive offense. it wouldn’t surprise me that they do something brilliantly crazy and innovative, like playing dime the entire time with coddrington as a spy on Lamar. Or something just bonkers like that. Whatever it is, if they can pull it off, it will be the model on how to stop the ravens.
  5. thinking of this thread when I did this, I removed my Allen jersey at halftime. sadly, now it must be burned.
  6. In the nfc, WFT is the last team I want to see. Lot of late game magic.
  7. I have never seen anything like that! He brushed his hair like 10 times. Dude, your helmet is going on your head anyway.
  8. it has to do with sunlight and air temp, which means wind usually blows harder during day than night. here is a little FAQ blurb on it: https://wgntv.com/weather/weather-blog/why-is-it-much-windier-during-the-day-than-at-night/amp/ (disclaimer: I am just an arm chair football weather enthusiast).
  9. i say no chance. When the injury happened, it looked like at least a 4-weeker. Flowers is mid anyway. All their receivers get wide open from the run action. When Nelson Aghalor is out there without a guy 8 yards around him, you know it’s not really about the receiver.
  10. One of the greatest injustices of all time is the fact that TB has two Super Bowl trophies.
  11. night games mean less wind usually though. The worst wind is always in that 1-4 pm zone.
  12. agree completely. The worst used to be boy wonder Brandon Staley. re LeFleur, I have a soft spot for him because Rodgers treated him like trash when he was there.
  13. You said it best: fundamentals. My view is that ST play is all about fundamentals, which is really a reflection of coaching.
  14. theme of the game. Bills offense helped play keep away from their own ST and defense.
  15. I think most think that Siriani is just super annoying.
  16. Setting aside the fake punt (arguable you can even do that), the Bills ST was surprisingly competent, and maybe came out ahead of the Broncos. 1) Better on FGs and PATs. 2) Allowed no great returns against a dangerous returner, and, in fact, had a great coverage hit (Hollins). 3) Had several great returns (Shakir punt and one Ty Kick return). 4) Competent and not catastrophic punting (though broncos probable edged us on this, pinning us back on that one inside the 5). Overall, they just had to be decent, and they were. So good job!!
  17. then what do you do at halftime?
  18. Ray Davis and Cam Lewis with head injuries. Not sure if Cam came back in.
  19. Josh Allen thinks this has jumped the shark!
  20. I will say that while the D played great, this heavy TOP by the O really was half the battle today, keeping our own D off the field. Need the same strategy next week.
  21. I seriously love Anderson. Guy looks to just blow people up.
  22. They are just trying to get Hollins a TD.
  23. nix’s receivers haven’t really helped him out with any tough catches.
  24. reminds me of the gameplan that you need when you play the Jets. Be very safe on O. TOP control. Don’t let their D and ST make big plays.
  25. Samuel worth every penny of that 3-year contract today!!
