  1. Who needs Tua when you have Daniel Jones? Every team wanted him ? The curse of OBJ has definitely hit the Giants
  2. Anyone got a line on group tickets? I know I can always do stubhub. Would be fun to sit with a Bills group.
  3. Been to plenty of Preds games. Putting up with their fans is tough, as they're idiots. Every other chant they do involves saying "you suck". Gets very annoying, so I'd rather watch my favorite team on TV. The novelty of going to a game in Nashville wore off long ago for me.
  4. Union Station is very nice inside. Hopefully you'll get an upper level room. Two floors are actually below ground level. Location is ideal for walking anywhere downtown.
  5. Sabres home opener that Saturday night! Need to find a good sports bar on or near Broadway - Bailey's, Benchmark and Corner Bar are a few.
  6. Love the fact that our drafting of Knox contributed to the Patriots scramble for a replacement Tight End for Gronk. For a rare time, the Bills beat them to the punch https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/26963003/pats-pick-another-tight-end-trade-lions
  7. This is the same Tyrel Dodson that had his facemask grabbed by Jimbo Fisher during the A&M-Arkansas game. Dodson handled the aftermath with class. Hope he can overcome this scenario Jimbo Fisher grabs Tyrel Dodson by facemask
  8. I've heard of people experiencing miraculous recoveries. Pray that Pancho would be so blessed. He has touched pretty much all of us. God bless Ezra and his loved ones.
  9. Talking Ansah. Lawson, who knows. He may not be a McBeane guy. Lawson sounded upbeat coming into this year according to this article, but that was before they declined his 5th year option. He'll have to show something special in camp or early in the season to get a multi-year deal. They'd have to re-sign him before he gets to FA. If he does blow up this year, I'm doubting he re-signs with the Bills. https://www.buffalobills.com/news/optimism-prevails-as-the-bills-get-set-to-begin-offseason-workouts
  10. A one-year deal for a guy with a questionable shoulder. Not much sense to me. Multi-year, yes. Shoulders are tough to rehab quickly.
  11. With Ansah looking for just a one-year deal in 2019 to prove himself for one last big contract, I doubt he fits the Bills plans. Lawson is around for this year, so why would the Bills want Lawson and Ansah for this year, then neither in 2020. Likely the Bills offered Ansah a multiyear deal, but that may not be what he's looking for.
  12. What level of effort will Shady give? Is he up for proving he still has it, or is he counting on his reputation just giving a half-hearted effort this year. I am not clear on how motivated McCoy is, going into his final season with the Bills (if he hasn't played his final game here).
  13. Dodson has been a standout at linebacker with A&M, and is a workout freak. Think he'll have a great shot at sticking on the roster. 675 lb squat
  14. Just a thought, but the value of a good backup QB can net you a 1st rounder a few years down the road. If he's there, Drew Lock.
  15. Alabama guy to boot, let alone the TE position is a need. Risner would also be a solid pick.
  16. If Buffalo is planning on taking a TE in this draft, it will likely be with the #9 pick. With the Broncos, Jags and Patriots needing TEs, they may be likely waiting a long time, if they pass on Hockenson in the 1st. The Bills have positioned themselves to draft the best player available, with free agency moves. All I ask is just don't reach by taking the 2nd best TE @ 9.
  17. You had me at Devin White. Linebackers are the weakest and thinnest unit on D.
  18. The foot injury is enough to scare me away from a 1st rounder. If he lasts until the 2nd, okay
  19. Defensive Tackle probably has the most depth in this draft. A trade up for Williams would smell like trading up for Sammy Watkins, with Mike Evans, OBJ and Jarvis Landry still on the board. OBJ and Landry were available at our original spot. Plenty of DTs available. You do not trade up for one.
  20. The offensive line is the problem in Jax. Yeldon averaged 4.0 per carry while Hyde and Fournette averaged 3.3 per carry. I'll take Yeldon's potential in a heartbeat. Good pickup.
  21. If you stay in West End (Residence Inn, Spring Hill Suites, Hilton Garden Inn, ALoft, Hutton Hotel), these hotels typically run shuttles to Broadway, where all the bars are downtown.
  22. That'd make it six NFC teams playing on Thanksgiving. NFL has been doing that a lot, 3 of last 5 years, and, if true, 4 of 6 with all NFC teams.
