  1. Burks was dominant in every Arkansas game that I saw. He is a future NFL stud. 10 1/4" hands. I doubt you'll see drops from him
  2. AND, bring Joe Brady on as QB coach. Worked with Burrow at LSU. I think Carolina hired him too quickly to be an OC. Let him do what he does well, QB coach, while learning under Pederson
  3. There's also speculation that Flores is the lead candidate. Multiple sources have mentioned his name as wanting to interview and there's supposedly great interest on both sides. Flores is from Brooklyn, so it would be a bit of a homecoming. See if Schoen changes minds in New Jersey to look more at Daboll.
  4. Mason Crosby is 37 years old. That could have something to do with it. Also, Crosby has had an up and down career. 100% made, 75% made, 64% FG made seasons. Seems to be a question of which Mason Crosby shows up each year. Bass was doing a lot better at the end of last year after gaining confidence in his first season. It's more than just about a holder. Georgia's punter would also be a good 7th round pick.
  5. Section 334 50 yard line row 24 on aisle. PM me if interested. Face value
  6. I can see why you'd get the shot, and would agree. You have underlying health concerns, so it makes sense for you to get the shot. There are fortunate people whose immune systems are just fine, after recovering from COVID. They likely have a sufficient amount of Antibodies in their system to fight off COVID. This is something else I struggle with. No one is really telling us what a good amount of antibodies is. Sure, it may vary, but the shots give us antibodies too. If someone has been protected from having more than a handful of sick days in their working life, why should they inject something that they don't know what the long range effects are, and when they have already recovered from COVID ?
  7. Only a Junior, but Snoop Conner from Ole Miss would be the goal line RB we're lacking. Snoop Conner
  8. It'll all shake out. Notre Dame has many ranked teams on their schedule (Wisc, Cinc, @VT, USC, UNC). No matter what they are this week, they will definitely prove themselves later (or not).
  9. Clemson shouldn't even be considered by the committee with that schedule. The only possibility of playing a ranked team will be the ACC Championship against Va Tech, assuming they're ranked then. Notre Dame is at Blacksburg October 9th. Big game now.
  10. Saw that. Consoling the Louisville defender thrown out for targeting. That was a vicious hit.
  11. Uncomfortable when Barkley steps on the field. Fromm showed some poise from what I saw in preseason.
  12. Sad state when anything released today is better than what we have.
  13. Flores has already said he wants high character players. That approach sure sounds familiar.
  14. Spotrac has us at $5.127 mil under the cap after this move. Decent space for any additions during the season
  15. There was a funny (yet also sad) exchange about Nick Starkel, who was an A&M QB, when Martell was being first recruited. Martell talked a good game, but A&M's new OC preferred a taller QB, so 5'11" Martel was ignored by the OC, leading to his decommit from A&M. Circle October 21st. UNLV hosts San Jose State, where Starkel currently is. Martell has a bum thumb, so hopefully he's recovered and ready for the showdown. Starkel is another QB with long transfer history 2015 - Committed to Oklahoma State 2016 - Decommit from OSU to sign with A&M (Redshirted) 2018 - Beaten out by Kellen Mond, transfers to Arkansas 2019 - Throws 5 INTs in an upset loss to San Jose State, loses starting job at Arkansas 2020 - Transfers to San Jose State (I guess because he was good at throwing to San Jose State players) 2021 - Finally entering Senior season with SJSU
  16. Kind of shows Minshew isn't a good teammate. He's not going to take over from Hurts. Trading him indicates he was going to be a distraction with the Jags
  17. A weak Steelers O-line, an improved Bills D-line, and an aging Ben will equal a Bills double digit win.
  18. Get your RBs early. Mocks seem to have plenty of WRs late, but good RB picks seem hard to come by this year
  19. A lot of singers are smokers. Some announcers rely on too much shtick. Johnson is definitely over the top on sayings. Cool at first, then the guy just wears you out. From the past, it's tough to match Summerall and Madden. Enberg was good, but too many "oh my"s. Currently, I'd take Nantz over Buck any day. Al Michaels is slipping, but used to be tops, again with Madden. Having to listen to Collinsworth hurts him. Nantz having Romo makes the best pair by far. Aikman is boring. Strictly considering the voice, no one can touch Harlan. Yup, Jones was another classic.
  20. I've always hated the way Belichick uses his RBs. Being a 1000 yard rusher is not a big deal in 16 (now 17) games. You have to average 63 yards per game to hit 1000, and New England has had one in the past 10 years. I think Michel will finally get a chance to shine in LA. He's an upgrade from Darrell Henderson IMO.
  21. I've always enjoyed Greg Gumbel's announcing, though he is past his prime. His call on Mario Elie's kiss of death against Phoenix in the 90s was legendary If Gumbel's voice grates on you, how do you feel about Mike Tirico's voice? Elie Kiss of Death
  22. Who are the four? Miami, FSU, UF, then you have USF and UCF. Or did you mean four teams other than UF? Florida is very transient, so I agree their base there would be bandwagon fans. Does Jacksonville have many businesses/corporations headquartered there?
