No, when you are about to lose your starting ILB and Safety to Free Agency, you see needs elsewhere that should be addressed. We lost to the Jets because of our lack of linebackers and no quality to backup Milano. Dodson (or Bernard) can't replace Edmunds. We're going to have a hard time replacing Poyer. Beane backed himself into a 2023 draft of needs.

Are you talking this year? Bama took a big step back at receiver this year. Ja'Corey Brooks is the closest guy they have to call a #1 option. A lot of development needs to happen for their current corps. Two of their top 3 in yardage receivers were from the portal. One was a RB. No doubt, they have been a top 3 producer of NFL talent at WR. Bama, LSU, Ohio State.

We have quality WRs but we obviously lack depth. WR should not be a day 1 or 2 priority. Maybe UDFA. O-Line should be a priority after watching Quessenberry try to fill in. LB and Safety are priorities. You improve the O-line, RB becomes less of a priority. 30. Antonio Johnson S Texas A&M - assuming Poyer is gone 62. The Bills coaching staff and players lack common sense. It's common sense to knock the ball down or away on 4th down. It's common sense to take what they give you if the clock is not yet your enemy (2 minutes left, it's not your enemy). We didn't need to throw into the end zone from 20 yards out when Allen attempted to throw to Knox and Davis (INT) It's common sense to not let receivers have a free release when your opponent needs 40 or 50 yards in 13 seconds. I'm sure there are many things that people can think of that seem like common sense. The Bills do not have common sense ingrained in their heads. This, rather than talent, is what seems to separate this team from championships. Coach's fault? It definitely appears so. If the players aren't doing what they're told, that's a whole different problem.

We saw this during the 2020 season when KC ran all over us when Milano was out. Dodson has been a capable run defender, but I think he lacks a bit in pass defense. We need to draft LBs in the early rounds. Bernard is unfortunately becoming what many feared, a bad reach.

We've been vanilla with the pass rush in preseason, but I think it'll be something special once the regular season is on. Will make the secondary's job much easier with constant QB pressure. The d-line is the defense's strength, with great depth.

Boatload? No. We know he's not perfect, but he's gotten way more hits than whiffs.

Injuries may open possibilities. Kumerow is one of Rodgers favorites, so we might be able to get a 6 or 7 for him. Duke Johnson also may fetch something. We've got a lot of talent on the D line. Got to be able to get some picks from some team. Holding some hope for a trade or two

Wydermyer struggled with drops his final year at A&M. He was very successful with Kellen Mond there. Seemed to have a lot more drops with Zach Calzada. Maybe he can catch on with another team. Too many TEs on the team, and Quintin Morris looked good making a nice long catch in his only target. Guess it gave him another week on the roster.

Kaiir Elam went to a very well to do private school for HS. School had the kids of Jack Nicklaus, Greg Norman and Ian Baker-Finch go there. While most families had money, they also had strict discipline at the school. Quite a few students have been booted from the school, despite their family's status. He was around a lot of good kids, who were good influences on him. How, exactly, he got that opportunity to go there, I do not know. Part of the process was vetting the young man, both by the school, once he applied, and by the Bills. He was a fit for the Bills, and rated as a first round talent. Glad we got him.
