  1. Glad to see he can pull away from pressure so effectively. He'll need that ability a lot this year
  2. They invest in multiple defensive FAs, dumping most of the cap there, and our defense looks awful. Zero pass rush. People excuse it as playing a base vanilla defense. Our O line isn't the only problem
  3. I'm happy with his escapability, a la Marino in the pocket. With this O line, he'll need it. That TD pass last week was a thing of beauty, avoiding the rush
  4. You can also see Barret Robbins life since Super Bowl 37. Robbins was on the BALCO list and he's been diagnosed as bipolar. Incognito is right there with him, assuming steroids, and more than likely he's been diagnosed.
  5. Cory Carter torn ACL, was carted off the field. Kyle Williams was walking around. Bad news for Carter. Hopefully not bad news for Williams.
  6. LOL, starter in a preseason game. Holds the ball too long, panics badly in the face of pressure. Allen, with basically the same cast, did pretty well last night. AJ is 3rd string in Buffalo. Agree, Dawkins let Garrett have a run by setting up WAY too deep. Very correctable, and wasn't a whiff, just bad technique. Ducasse has a habit of using bad technique. There was another play where Ducasse and Bodine double teamed Ogunjobi, and then they both let him go, leading to a sack. There's a lot of correction that needs to happen from this game film.
  7. Not a big fan of Ducasse, but the holding call on him was while a Browns player had his hands in his facemask, with no penalty on them. Wish someone else, like Teller, would step up at Guard.
  8. I do see it because he gets paid 4 times as much as any other TE on the roster. Football is a business, and you have to ask always whether you're getting your money's worth. Frankly, I'd rather see the Bills keep an extra TE, and lose some WRs, as our two top receivers last night were TEs
  9. He sure didn't show it as he whiffed on a block during one of our first possessions, with Shady getting nailed for a loss. Like I said, the millions we pay this guy do not pay dividends. Obviously, from comments about teams not willing to take on his contract, he doesn't produce as he should, and I just don't see his standing out from any other TE that we have.
  10. Bills would make a huge mistake cutting O'Leary. He has the best hands on the team. His first catch was nice, out-battling a defender for a nice gain. Obviously, the TD was blown coverage, but he showed good balance despite getting caught up to by the defender, and still made it in the end zone. My question is what are the cap ramifications of trading or releasing Clay? Dude is a worthless blocker, and certainly doesn't offer millions of dollars in difference from the pass catching ability (or route running) of our other TEs
  11. He got chopped from the side. He was engaged with a blocker, when a Browns player fell into his leg from the side. Yes, the usual way a ligament gets torn. Hope it's not as bad as it looked.
  12. Why limit the guy completely to a dink and dunk approach? To get a guy comfortable in a game? What happens in a real game when he throws deep is he'll get picked off because he hasn't experienced throwing a live deep ball. Jets better start Bridgewater if they want to win. Darnold needs to sit and learn, as does Allen. Still, you don't limit QBs in preseason. You need to get them used to as many game situations as possible.
  13. Here is a video demonstrating the process to list on Stubhub. Trust the process, it worked fine for me How to list season tickets on StubHub
  14. I hope they do shop him. He's a South Florida boy, so Miami, Tampa and even Jacksonville should be interested. His heart is likely not in Buffalo, so he'd welcome a move. Kyle Williams is his best friend on the team, so it'd hurt Williams to see him go.
  15. Add them to your Wallet, for whatever phone you have. They'd be on your phone, rather than having to access any app. The One Buffalo app works fine for me. Click on the game, you either add to your wallet, or have the option to sell/transfer tickets. I use the same email/password combo for both Ticketmaster and the One Buffalo app, just to avoid confusion on my part. It's convenient since you don't have to carry both the card and your phone. You just need to carry the phone. You can always transfer a ticket to someone else, if you don't go with them. The stipulation is that they have to have a tm account, I believe.
  16. He just needs a chance. If he doesn't cut it in preseason, so be it, but I've been reading Buscaglia's camp notes, and he seems to have a player-crush going... Whenever a wide receiver can complete the play the way that Phillips has been doing consistently through training camp, it usually begs a further look from the coaching staff to see if they can do it against some better competition. I would not be surprised if Phillips gets bumped up to work with the second-team offense before too long because he is significantly outplaying the rookie trio of Robert Foster, Ray-Ray McCloud, and Austin Proehl. Day 7 observations
  17. Actually, you look at the all-time leading NCAA receivers, you have to go down to #64 to see a guy who made somewhat of a name in the NFL, Greg Jennings. I'm just saying I'd like to see a player who has accomplished something in college, period, if you want to talk about potential. Foster did nothing to separate himself from Jeudy and Ruggs at Bama as a #2. So we're writing off Zay Jones? OK. I'd equate Phillips to Josh Reed, won't be a #1, but he'll be a contributor. Foster 14 catches in 10 games as a Senior. Ouch. He better open some eyes quick, or he'll be PS material, even with another Bama boy throwing to him.
  18. Foster underperformed in college, and apparently isn't drawing too much attention so far at camp. Don't get me wrong, I understand the potential, but Bama fans had to be frustrated seeing this guy essentially flame out during the past four years. Phillips performed at VA Tech, becoming their all-time leading receiver. He is drawing attention in camp thus far. I'd say he has a good shot at beating out Foster. We'll see how they play in another week.
  19. He really never had the chance to show it. It was Masoli's job, and he did nothing to lose it. You're right, he is grateful from his comments after the trade. It also helped the guy who recruited him in college is once again his coach. He redshirted under Mike Sherman, because Tannehill was still QB when Manziel arrived.
