My issue is thrm not making some plays forcing more 3rd and longs. Then there was YAC stats where ifyou play prevent you need to pursue and defend on YAC and force more 3rd and ling that then get drive stops and force more punts. buffalo isbt designed around a front four big sack team. i believe if you can get pressure forcing quick plays then it’s to your advantage to play man coverage.

if Gabe wasn’t 100% I don’t see the problem in dressing a fresh Stillsand use him in 10-12 snaps. I’m not saying he’s a #2.

1st half on 2 KC TD drives they had a 3rd and long. One they converted on their side, other they got a 4-1 in FG range. You hold them to a FG they only have 17 buffalo gets a TD instead of FG it’s 17-16 at half in 2nd half they trade FGs, KC gets a TD Then buffalo throws a red zone pick. they-trade TDs ...the game at this point before buffalos recovered onside kick it’s a one score game. Had buffalo not thrown the pick and got a TD it’s likely tied or a small deficit. the point I’m getting at its small margins was the difference in the game. Thus comesdiwn to execution.

it’s about execution. buffalo had 2 times inside the 10 and kicked 2 FGs. KC got TDs. The deficit was 16 at the time. Reverse it and it’s a tie game. theD failed to make stops forcing punts or holding thrm to FGs.

I do think Brady wanted New Ragland to improve at WR for him to stay. At that point he announced, free agency surge was over and trades seemed over.

Of their last 8 wins, they were by 6 pts or less. In 5 of them they were behind or had a 3-4 pts lead in the 3rdquarter. 3 of those wins involved the opponent pulling close late after being down by 17+ points. I don’t buy the claim if buffalo playing simpleton one dimension teams. Kansas City had a similar closing schedule as buffalo. They played some common opponents. their regular season match up isn’t a good barometer. Buffalos defense is playing better ( and being healthy). there offenses are similar ( with some differences) and their defenses are different. it will be about executing offensively, making big plays ( turnovers, loss yds plays) and stopping them in 3 rd and 6+ yds. On defense holding them to FGs.

They aren’t dominant. when buffalo played them they weren’t 100% on defense with many injuries.KC win came down to only a couple of key plays... 1 3rdand long TD pass 2 3rd and long then 4 and a foot conversion that next got them a TD. take away one and hold to a FG it’s still a one score game late. on these and other drives the bills allowed them to convert on 3rd and 8+. They need to stop and force punts. their defense isn’t dominant

What vet QB the look at? if ATL/DET look to start over the Stafford orRyanwoukd go to Indy.they have a good team who would compete for the playoffs. Dallas could trade Prescott and draft a QB. I don’t see thrm doing that. NE is also looking for a QB garappolo is their favorite. Indy could look at him too.

id be focused on OL, TE, OLB/DE, and DB over the next 2 yrs in the draft. you can find a change of pace or different style of RB either in secondary UFA market or late picks or undrafted players

I’m not wasting a 1st on a RB. The team has other needs to work around.

Last time I checked, things like screens or underneath passes to RBs are effectively runs. its about control the ball to use up clock get TDs let them get FGs get up 2 scores late forcing them out of a running game. do not play prevent on mahomes. Play normal D.

thusis year 3.... it depends on if we win the SB this year vs next year. If we don’t the next two yrs Thrn he might take a lower contract to keep more players vs having to rebuild with him getting a high contract.

in this league if you have a strong running team and a very good defense you can do well with an a non top 5 QB. it’s still beneficial if the QB can run to avoid sacks and extend plays as well as being a potential running threat to keep a defense honest
