  1. there are two playoff formats... 1 a locked in playoff bracket like NCAA basketball 2. First round highest weed vs lowest side, 2nd high vs 2nd lie and so on. Next round it’s the highest remaining seed vs lowest remaining seed, 2nd highest remaining vs2nd lowest remaining seed. And so in. the NFL has always followed the 2nd. Thus year the change was 2nd seed no longer gets a bye week but instead plays an additional seed at 7. if you assume pittsburgh hasn’t finished throng and the entire AE division coukd be inflated because of a weaker schedule...say Pittsburgh does in wild card if Pittsburgh wins its buffalo vs Pittsburgh and whoever is left at KC if Pittsburgh loses Then Buffalo plays the higher seed left and KC plays the lowest. if you let Miami win, they play at south winner . If Pittsburgh loses and Miami wins, miamipkays buffalo in divisional round. Miami matches well against the afc south team.
  2. Why not just troprnehati posted....
  3. WGR retweeted a Florida post about Fitz not at practice. a friend of mine said an hr ago a friend of his who knows Fitz said he’s positive for Covid. They may doing more detailed tests.
  4. both gunners weren’t covered. This is a standard option that can be audible at the snap. This wasn’t planned but done because of no assignment. Had this been a longer 4th down they might not have done it.
  5. Instead of trading with KC they coukd have traded with Houston for a 1st in 2018 ( which was 4OA) then they keep the 2nd the 2nd was buffalo and Rams. I think tampa traded down a few with a 2nd
  6. he was a rookie last year who was forced to play due to injuries to top 2 QBs. I get the reason to throw. No receivers. Jetspkaying 9 in the box. what I don’t think thry did was play their RBs as WRs.
  7. Assume PI.t loses in WC game.. if buffalo wins they likely play BAL/SOUTH winner. IF they let MIA win then ..Mia is a good match against afc south so buff could see Miami in divisional round.
  8. thad brow is a @#&&ing moron.... assume Balt and Ind W and TEN W IF PIT W and BUF W 2 BUF vs 7 MIA 3 PIT vs 6 IND 4 TEN vs 5 BAL IF PIT W and BUF L 2 PIT vs 7 IND 3 BUF vs 6 BAL 4 TEN vs 5 MIA compare the two below..... IF PIT L and BUF W 2 BUF vs 7 IND 3 PIT vs 5 CLE 4 TEN vs 5 BAL IF PIT L and BUF L 2 BUF vs 7 CLE 3 PIT vs 6 BAL 4 TEN 5 MIA in the later one if BUF W and PIT L ...BUF would play MIA/TEN winner which has a de ent chance of being Miami. in the s rnsrio above its baltimore ir Tennessee. I don’t think TEN has an easy win. It’s in Houston snd their last meeting Houston should have won but ten won in OT. If TEN lose they are out and it’s IND hosting MIA look ahead beyond the stop sign in front of you...
  9. there are 5 games so 2x2x2x2x2= 32 scenarios. the numbers match scenario count. Miami W they are 5 seed Trnnesse W or Indy lose they are division champs if you ignore the Tennessee game there are just 16 scenarios with conditions on tenn W/L.
  10. especially on a cleaned private chartered aircraft that only has the players and staff. Thrn the hotel that closes of entire floors for the team and they have no contact with anyone other than the team. except when players get injured at meaningless times during games...no reason to risk thrm.
  11. You have unbalanced schedules so this will result in some divisions skewing down with 500 or below records. the nfc east poorer play has inflated nfc west and afc north records. Clevrland and baltimore went 4-0. The play a harder division they be 2-2 and there wouldn’t be thus WC race.
  12. People don’t seem to understand playoff seeding. Beating Miami does not eliminate thrm. Right now the rank order of teams are for WC Miami baltimore cincinati indianapolis. if buffalo beats Miami and another of those teams lose, Miami gets in. A buffalo win means buffalo could be playing Miami again.
  13. ummm...hotels are unfamiliar? The hotels would have very high clean standards. The team would be on their own floors. They take chartered flights...
  14. home field advantage relies on fans there making noise that make it difficult for opposing team to call play changes. When players think different plays mistakes and turnovers happen. if fans aren’t there Then there is no home field advantage like there is in hockey with the ability to match lines or baseball hitting last. im not risking starter injuries just to be a 2 seed vs a 3 seed. thus team can still compete if they rested Allen, Diggs, Tre, Milano, and a few others.
  15. cincy beat Pittsburgh in cincinati. Baltimore plays there on Sunday. None is incorrect.
  16. no the Titans win they get division. if Titans lose they can get a WC spot with a Miami or Baltimore loss. They won’t get 5 with a loss unless everyone loses yes it is... right now KC is 1 BUF or PIT are 2 and 3 that leaves afc south winner 4 miami has tiebreakers on all of CLE, balt, ind so they win they are the 5 seed at 11-5. The 3 went 4-0 against nfc, Mia 3-1 so Miami has better conference record in WC it’s 5 at 4 QED
  17. A lose does not knock Miami out. They lose Then they need Cleveland, Baltimore, or Indy to lose snd they get in. Buffalo could face Them in WC game. going out to beat the same team in week 17 then the next week is not what you want to do. with no fans...home field means nothing.
  18. If Buffalo beats Miami thry could play them the next week if only one of CLE, BAL, or IND lose
  19. no... if buffalo goes LL and ten W buffalo woukd have bern 4 and had to go to KC division round. Win tonight assures they don’t see KC till championship game.
  20. Pit could be in the situation of beat Cleveland then play them the next week or if they let them win and thrn have them sent to buffalo.
  21. Miami wins they are 5 and play at south division champs
  22. I think it wasn’t planned but they did it because of they left him uncovered on a short 4th down all teams have this.
  23. It’s the second worst loss next to the 31-0 Milloy season opener
  24. they need to win so I see him trying a comeback in 2nd half
