  1. i had a torn meniscus last year. What Beasley has is not one of those. I had surgery
  2. the chiefs have won their last 7-8 games by one score. They aren’t dominant. when buffalo played them they weren’t 100% on defense with many injuries.KC win came down to only a couple of key plays... 1 3rdand long TD pass 2 3rd and long then 4 and a foot conversion that next got them a TD. take away one and hold to a FG it’s still a one score game late. on these and other drives the bills allowed them to convert on 3rd and 8+. They need to stop and force punts. their defense isn’t dominant
  3. that’s how I view it.
  4. What vet QB the look at? if ATL/DET look to start over the Stafford orRyanwoukd go to Indy.they have a good team who would compete for the playoffs. Dallas could trade Prescott and draft a QB. I don’t see thrm doing that. NE is also looking for a QB garappolo is their favorite. Indy could look at him too.
  5. id be focused on OL, TE, OLB/DE, and DB over the next 2 yrs in the draft. you can find a change of pace or different style of RB either in secondary UFA market or late picks or undrafted players
  6. I’m not wasting a 1st on a RB. The team has other needs to work around.
  7. Kick them off the wagon...
  8. that’s the cap game. You do well try to win but then one year you might need to take a dead cap space hit and retool.
  9. Last time I checked, things like screens or underneath passes to RBs are effectively runs. its about control the ball to use up clock get TDs let them get FGs get up 2 scores late forcing them out of a running game. do not play prevent on mahomes. Play normal D.
  10. thusis year 3.... it depends on if we win the SB this year vs next year. If we don’t the next two yrs Thrn he might take a lower contract to keep more players vs having to rebuild with him getting a high contract.
  11. no...you don’t try to fit a square peg in a round hole. you tailor an offense around the qb strengths. It takes time to understand pro defense and learn on the differences between college and pro. Allen had some innate abilities that could be modified.
  12. Winning a super bowl does not change anything about the past ri se and repeat
  13. he has to be cleared by an independent dr...not the team
  14. in this league if you have a strong running team and a very good defense you can do well with an a non top 5 QB. it’s still beneficial if the QB can run to avoid sacks and extend plays as well as being a potential running threat to keep a defense honest
  15. My thoughts...... Dobbins is a good RB Andrews is a good TE Hollywood brown is a decent WR with speed but not a #1. Jackson doesn’t avg 200 yds per game passing but is a running threat. The fact is it’s only a matter of time before he does get injured. In yesterday’s game he happened to get concussion by just being knocked back as a passer on a sack attempt. It wasn’t a run that did this like it did to Mahomes Im unsure on Jackson’s longevity. The key is can he develop and be a better passer with the threat to run and use his mobility when needed. This is similar to what Allen has done and what a few other QBs who can run have done like Andrew Luck, and steve Young as well as others.
  16. but if buffalo was fully healthy when they played earlier this season this game woukd be in buffalo
  17. Both teams miss2 FGs due to wind. buffalo would have put up more TDs
  18. houston lost 8 1-score games. A few plays in those loses could have been wins and they were in a playoff race.
  19. that is the kind of thing you can modify in traditional passer rating such as whose fault was the interception. You could just look at yards on the throw and separate YAC, but credit expected comp, etions where the fault was on the re receiver.

  21. traditional passer rating is an objective measure not a subjective one...big difference. any formula you try to make can have some situational loophole. in traditional passer rating if you play for a primary running team and only pass when behind or on 3rd and long you are likely going to have higher completion and yard averages playing against soft defenses that are bend don’t break. Since it’s also a TD per arrempt rate it can try to normalized teams that throw much more vs those that don’t.
  22. QBR by espn is seriously flawed. I understand what it’s trying to do but situations are too subjective.
  23. You are just realizing this now...... im a professional data scientist.
