This is an off season topic. -
Rich Eisen comparing Allen to Mandalorian

I wasn’t crazy about those movies as they became more and more out there with the sequels, but love the reference. Good job Stampede. Not so sure on Mandelorian. Meh. -
Rich Eisen comparing Allen to Mandalorian
machine gun kelly replied to Carbonpoke's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Unless he edited the title, Simon might not know the Mandalorian is the most popular new show in the Disney Plus app. I’ve never seen it, but my daughter loves it. I bought the app for her to follow. I guess it’s incredibly popular with teens. A spin off of Star Wars. She told me the character looks like Boba Fet, but is a good guy. -
It’s almost anticlimactic Daboll will probably end up in LA. If he gets it, I’m happy for him. He’s given us three good years and helped us towards a chance at a championship. I am with the crew that Dorsey hopefully has been groomed for his next step. I don’t see McD blowing up the scheme they’ve designed for Allen and crew.

My fault Junction. I was shocked, but get the sarcasm. 💪😇. If we had Fitzy, I’d roll with two next year and just Stowe Fromm on the PS. I swear Fitz could pronpbably play for a couple of years even at his age. Besides, talk about the best fan favorite backup to Allen since May God be with You Reich.

Bring back A. Lynn for OC!
machine gun kelly replied to unbillievable's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
cant you just hide you’re sarcasm a little more? Guess not, and love it. Like the commercial, how About NO! No Anthony Lynn, no Chan Gailey, just no. Im going to say what everyone hates to hear if Daboll is promoted, TRUST THE PROCESS! -
Guys, first, this is a scared Colts fan base and we’re worried about an old QB, Super Allen. There aren’t more than two other QB’s who can flick a ball at will like Allen (Mahomes and Rodgers, not even Russel has this guys arm strength). First, the weather conditions look decent Sunday, amd remember the first Pats game. High winds meant a better running team as we thought Pats) and us and who won. 190+ yards to the Bills as they made a decision committing to the run. Dont chase every windmill guys. We’ll beat them in rain, wind, snow or a damn hurricane or tornado. Who is the better thrower in the snow? An old guy or the strongest hottest arm in the NFL right now outside of maybe Rodger. Oh and where did Allen play, oh yeah, WYOMING!

Virg., I almost always agree with you 100%, but Sal said it best 5is morning on the pt. After. We were pulling guys left and right, Babe is our 4th WR. No White, Hughes, Beasely (I know injury) main guys coming out at or by the end of the first half. Fins, if you can’t beat our backups, tough cookies. It sucked when we had a beaten up line in 04, and the Stillers beat us with backups, but honestly, we weren’t good enough.

Junction, this isn’t the Rob Johnson/Flutie thing. Allen is the unequivocal starter no matter what. Fitzy is 38 years old brother. By next year 39. Not one guy on this board wants him as a starting QB. He is just simply the best backup QB in the NFL right now. Allen has absolutely nothing to fear at all.

Logic, you beat me to it. I would add it is a two horse race. The Bills Mgmt team could easily be poached to Houston. Then we have a new GM with Watson as QB with Bills ties, and I’m betting it is a horse race between the two. Whether it’s being happy for one of the GM candidates, or just simply Daboll, it is a great compliment to our seniors staff for grooming these guys.

But Mat, don’t forget we stuck with Allen with a 53% completion record, a penchant for fumbling, and running too fast at times. Now he had crap for a line and WR’s. I just think it’s way too early for moving on from a kid who needs development. In retrospect, they would’ve been much better served keeping on a clipboard much longer. I’m the furthest from a Fins fan, but I don’t hate the kid. The real question is do they extend Fitz which almost becomes an impediment to Tua’s development. Tua didn’t have a real off season like the other rookies and was coming back from a catastrophic injury. He now has a real off season, and can get personal coaching. Selfishly, Id love for them to move on from Fitz, we pick him up, amd move on from Barkley. Not that he is bad, but Fitz is better. For the Fish, they invested $235.8 mil. in FA last year, had 11 picks, and has another 10 this year. If Tua make no headway in 2021, ok. Now, they have $ for next year but the cap thing is a ?.

I don’t know if the medical is that big of an issue Mannc, as it was pretty obvious he still is hampered a bit by the hip injury and some QB gurus have commented he still needs to get that fixed. Not a big deal though Mannc. As far as Fitz, I didn’t understand why the Fins didn’t wait til the wheels fell off before switching. Giving him 6 games after eliminated or just brought in when they are either crushing a team or getting crushed would’ve made much more sense. He’s a kid, and with further healing and proper QB coaching like what Palmer has done would go a long way for Tua. Jordan Palmer should be getting some off season coaching love with the success of Allen. If I’m Tua, I’m running to the phone, saying, Jordan I need you’re help. He’ll have him bunk with Allen. I have no issues with Tua. It’s was almost unfair to the guy. You know I’m a Virg. fan so thanks bud. I think all of us look forward to you and the great Rockpile are the Monday highlights. yesterday was another nail in the coffin, that I have no fear or trepidation of the Chiefs. Not a cocky thing, just confidence we can stand toe to toe. I mentioned earlier this morning on another thread some other points, but you’re synopsis at the end makes all of us so elated to be a Bills fan. Year End #2 offense overall #2 offense in pts. #3 offense passing ST #1 kick returns #4 punt returns. Defense #14 Defense. Fine with me as still in top half. FANDEMONIUM!

As an aside, I know the hotel the Bills always stay at when they play in Tampa. No inside info. this time, but if they do make it, I’ll share then, and again it’s only a guess as it’s a classy place close to the stadium. I’ve seen them several times before the game when they are getting on the buses. we can cover then. First let’s beat the Chiefs. I’m so overconfident we will win these next two weeks.

Best place to watch Bills game in Buffalo
machine gun kelly replied to DBilz2500's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Greg, no worries. Get some awesome pizza and wings, a little OV, add and L and E, and you have Love, Love OV,... Great beer commercial from the 80’s and tastes great. Buffalo has the best pizza bar none. You’re family will be going nuts anyway so you’ll love it. -
Allen is a lot less concerned about MVP than SB MVP! That’s the one that matters. Allen must be licking his chops over the KC rematch. It will be the highest non SB ratings football game this year.

Jets officially fire Adam Gase
machine gun kelly replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Royal, I hear Kay Stephenson, Hank Bullough, Greggo, Skeletor, and of course Wrex are available. Dram team of coaching. -
It’s kind of futile to compare the K Gun offense to this one Super Allen. They are both special, and have similar and different strengths. Football is played so much differently now than at that time. I just checked this morning. We finished the year with the #2 offense, #3 in passing, #20 in rushing, and my favorite, #2 in pts. We’re only .5 pts. Behind the Packers. We dropped slightly for the year to 14th in defense, and a fun pt. Was ST. We are #1 in the league in kickoff returns, and #4 in punt returns. Talk about playing well in all three phases of the game.

Isiahcole McBeazley and our WR depth.
machine gun kelly replied to ChicagoRic's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He had a nice game, but yes, yes he’s not a Roberts replacement. We’re solid now with Diggs, Brown, Beasely, Davis, Roberts, and McKenzie. If we had to add a 7th, it would be Hodgins if he works out and cheap for now. That just means we cheat fro the TE group which is basically our offense. Lose Sweeney, and Kroft. Draft one and Gilliam is either cut or added as a FB, or we add another FB. We’re good here. Maybe today is a preview where we move on from Yeldon to Williams, but it’s one game. Way too much of a sample size. He did look good today. -
Fun conversation. The rules were so different back then, free agency, and so on. It like comparing Montana to Brady. They okayed a very different game, just like in the 60’s before they counted sacks Deacon Jones would’ve had 36 sacks in a year because he could ear slap a guy, or decapitate him with a neck shot. I don’t know, but beyond that Kelly was a HOFer, and Allen has a ways to go. Nothing against Allen, as I’m hopeful he wears a gold jacket as a dream with Diggs and hopefully others. Nothing would make me happier in my golden years to see Allen throw a pass like Kelly to Diggs with both gold jackets at Canton. That was awesome. let’s see it play out. I think in 8-10 years we can answer that one. My guess is a guy like Allen might even pull a Kelly and live here with his girl probably wife by then. He’ll know he’s a lifetime hero by then just like Kelly realized this place is special. It can’t be replicated.

CS, they can’t. That whole international thing it had to happen much earlier in the year. No big deal but discussed a bunch of times. No worries friend. What a game. I did love how they included him in the 12 days of Xmas. That was nice. Next year, he has to make the PS straight up. No more international break. By year 3, maybe he’s figured it out. That’s a lot to ask froma European who hasn’t played American football for 15 years. I hope he makes it if he’s the best.
