We need to cut 5 players. Who are they?
machine gun kelly replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This week, we barely will notice the cuts. Next week will be interesting. -
If we have to choose: McDermott or Daboll?
machine gun kelly replied to Westside Madness's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
And that’s all I have to say about that. Moving on. Go McBeane! -
Should Bills trade Daboll while he is “hot”?!?!
machine gun kelly replied to TH3's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Alright these are just butthead takes made to get a rise out of people. Why don’t we trade Diggs, Allen and White. What do you think we could get? Hint, sarcasm. -
A QB coach who is taught how to dissect a defense. Those guys are best for this learning.

My Suprise cut... Matt Brieda
machine gun kelly replied to Mat68's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don’t think you’re wrong with a caveat. It’s going to be game plan specific. There are going to be teams we face where McD see a more traditional 4-3 base defense, and maybe they’ve targeted in that game it’s one of our two main and Breida. That’s a logical plan. Regardless he’s cheap, has speed, we haven’t game planned anything for him yet, so some weeks he’s our new yeldon, but he offers a different wrinkle than a yeldon. -
Happy Birthday Paul Maguire

Happy B Day Paul. Fond memories. I’m too young for his punting days, but broadcasting, yep. -
You make a very good point. I’m not sure if a team unless desperate is going to give something as high as a 3rd. It’s short sighted to give him away and it doesn’t matter as Beane won’t do it. it’s also likely he may not get some real chance to start, but he needs a higher paid backup contract.
-
No argument Doc, but there is the matter of winning a SB and he makes us better insurance. I’m not worried about next year as he may get a shot with a team, or not but we up the contract to $6 mil. As a lot of other teams are paying even more fir a backup. Not sure if he gets much time at all with GB, as they are trying to figure out whether it’s Fromm or Webb who gets released or released and resigned to the PS. I’d only play them. If on the chance Mitch doesn’t play which is great, we had piece of mind on our backup, and deal with the issue in 2022. It’s not like we’re getting a 1st for him.
-
OMG, we get our next Reich and some people say, TRADE HIM. This is why I’m glad McD is our coach. Absolutely not under any circumstances as anyone saying that and then Allen gets hurt, and the same people scream the sky is falling. I knew we should’ve kept Mitch. Just play the percentages and even though Allen has been playing smarter and smarter every year, he still rushes so that’s a potential injury waiting to happen. Not likely, but you really want to trust Fromm or Webb for four games. Didn’t a percentage of posters whine about Barkley. So we upgrade on the cheap as top level backups are getting $5 mil.+, and now trade him.

Transplant, I know they have to released and resigned to PS. 100% agree on Stevenson. A weaker team could easily scoop him up. As a brief example, look his dysfunctional Chicago looked yesterday. You know they need better talent. We’re entering after 5 beautiful years of the McBeane regime of having to lose players we don’t want to lose. We’re safer on Hodgins as he hasn’t done much in the NFL, and was a 6th. -

Kwai, I know some guys may disagree, but if it were me, I would go with 7 WR especially if this week it happens again on the following guys. Hollister plays well with sticky hands. Knox continues to under impress Sweeney is out probably as an IR or PUP designation Gilliam keeps playing well Bottom line is Knox goes to PS, and Stevenson makes the 53. We are one of the least dependent TE teams in the league and one of the most WR dependent teams in the league. Lets see what happens in OP this week against GB. -
Motorin, true intentions. I didn’t creat the name when drafted, but I jumped on it fast. If you have kids and have taken them to all of these marvel movies, it’s an absolute perfect name for him and instead of the old Bruuuce, which was great, but not creative, this one I think he would embrace. All they have to do is cut away the one where he is big, not baby GROOT, amd he yells it commandingly as he destroys someone. Can you imagine 73,000 insanely loyal and a bit happy if you know what I mean on Labatts all screaming in unison. I AM GROOT! It’s short, it has a visual, and I think even Marvel would allow it as they could use him eventually as a spokesman. I know premature, but I have high hopes for this him. Once it takes off in Buffalo, if he is trending at a sack a game, he’ll make it on GMFB, and Brandt will have a field day with it. MAKE IT SO, AND ENGAGE!
-
I’m assuming you’re kidding. OP, uh Orchard Park.
-
Ire (couldn’t call you Fergs as we already have one of those guys) just think about eventually how many balls he’s going to bat down. Remember when Watt in his prime did that to EJ and Watt singlehandedly (no pun intended, well maybe a little) turned the game around on us for a TD.
-
Can you imagine the fun he’s going to have against those scrubs for linemen against the Steelers. Get ready for OP grass Ben because you’re going to be lieing on it a lot.
-
Embrace it bud, he is… Those arms are pure weapons. Now if we can get him to put on 10 lbs. of muscle, he could be a serious threat to any opposing offense. The other guy I’m having so much fun watching is AJ. He looks very powerful out there.

What's with the knee injuries?
machine gun kelly replied to Comebackkid's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Soldier Field supposedly has crap field conditions (yes the patchy grass) and a lot of players like the old Giants Stadium used to be a regular witch from players. -

Brennen it’s coming from those guys banging their heads against the wall after reading some posts on TBD. This was Morse in the off season. He obviously took a break from lifting in the off season. 🤪🏋️♀️🧐🏈 ”GOD, WHAT IS THAT HUFF GUY WRITING ABOUT ME NOW. HERES WHAT IM GONNA DO” -

They won’t. Next week will determine whether we place State Fromm on the PS, and cut Webb or reverse. I hope we keep Webb and let From. Figure out his next move. Remember Webb was a 3rd round pick in 2017 to Fromm’s 5th. I see more value in retaining Webb for insurance, and his coach on the field stuff. I’ve said it the interesting for me is in total we keep 10 guys for WR/TE. We’ll see how it splits out. I think we only keep 3 RB’s (not counting Jones), and maybe Williams makes it on the PS. -

Kid, you’re kidding right? It’s the NFL. Guys get hurt all the time, hence we rested every starter for the most part or gave them very limited duty. I doubt youll see almost any starters next week, except a little for the RB’s and Dawkins. Dawk has to play his way back into football shape so he’ll probably go two series, Motor and Moss maybe two as we are really workin g on the running game, and I wouldn’t doubt them only allowing Hollister in for 1-2 series. They can throw Knox in there the rest of the game. I be they only allow Mitch in for the first quarter and let Webb and State Fromm for the other three quarters. -
Not happening. He saves very little and unless another team is desperate, I doubt it. Might as well keep him for depth or with the continuation now of the pandemic PS rules, throw him there. Remember these are only vanilla called preseason games. Addison will only be a pass rushing specialist so he might only play on third downs. McD will figure it out.

So can we nickname them the Scorpions? Too Early? Or I can just see them with their beats on listening to this prior to the game while Allen is listening to Elvis. Let Allen watch this video pre game and he’ll have an aneurism he’ll be so amped up. Barbarian knows as that was my pre-powerlifting meet music when I started in college. A good sniff of Primatine mist, and you can deadlift the world! I think a bag of Tim Horton’s will do it. -

Good, let him drop Cam’s balls. I stuck up for him his first two years, but I’m growing tired of critical drops even if in a PS game, when Hollister looked solid. -

Im scanning through the thread again, and just caught you’re comment. I started laughing as I was thinking the same thing. GB the other day made some references to where Daboll could land next year and this would be a perfect place. They have (not today but overall) a solid defense, they still have the Beast called Mack (no offense to our TBD Beast oh great one), and what would be laughable is him developing Fields into a very good QB, literally copying the McD philosophy of how he built this team. After a year Fields will have improved in all the rookie mistakes, and be ready for a creative guy like Daboll. Down the road in a good system with continuity, a line and weapons, Fields will probably develop into a good NFL QB, and he won’t Duke it out with Rodgers as you know he’s gone (my over/under is the Steelers, not the Broncos).
