13-4 to 14-3. Most Likely. We won’t lose games we are supposed to win. The issue IMO is it’s another off season where they predict Cam, now Mac will win for the Pats. They are going bananas on how great they will be again. OTOH, the Bills get no press and top trio lists are everyone but us, even though we were the second best offensive team in points. who freakin cares. We win, as drago said, they lose.

Kelly’s heroes/Allen’s heroes
machine gun kelly replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I’m liking the Dirty Dozen more than Kelly’s Heroes. Allen Diggs Bease Dawkins (muscle) Mongo (ugly, just punch the horse) Milano Groot Tre Mr. Hyde Dr. Jekyl (Poyer) Davis and finally the Gadget Man, McKenzie Dirty Group! The Colonel is of course McD. Lee Marvin was a bad ars. -

Josh Allen won't play vs the Bears

Yep, this has been the plan all together waiting for the next CBA. The next CBA might end up 18 games and might negotiate down to 1 preseason game and a couple of competitive practices. Coaches seem to report they like those more anyway. I’m fine with keeping everyone who was out last week, this week. It’s not like they’re not practicing. It’s also not 1979 where they need two a days. I hope they let Mitch just rip it though as would be a nice gesture for him to dissect his old team. He’d probably love it. Dawkins playing for a series is good, but I hope they take him out after and slowly let him build up his strength. I trust those guys. Spencer for hire or deadlifting given that Goliath can use all the reps possible so he can be the effective swing. His first year he can most likely survive on raw power when needed. I loved this pick as we have two excellent tackles and one that can be groomed who is a behemoth. Perfect for a tackle, way too tall for a Guard. My concern is Moss coming back too fast with the hammy. Let him sit for another week, Devin and Breida carry the rock, and save Moss for next week. 17 games and a bye is a long season. We need all 3 completely healthy walking into it. My hope is we use Motor inside and Breida outside as well as some dump off passes. -
How close are you to RWS?
machine gun kelly replied to LabattBlue's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
1500 miles or so (Tampa), but grew up on South Park Ave. near 179 so Hamburg. Maybe 7 miles. Loved delivering for Blasdell Zza, back in HS. The original on South Park. It really doesn’t matter as how many guys on this board were either from Buffalo, or fell in love with the Bills. I’m impressed with people never affiliated with Buffalo (geography), but are just as passionate as us lunkheads there or from there. It’s in our DNA. Guys that never ever lived near Buffalo, I am so proud to call you a fellow Bills fan as you made a choice and you stuck with it through a 17 year drought. You guys are the ones that deserve… 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏 -
UConn, I’m no fan,but I grew up in Buff. And lived second half of my life in Tampa. It was awful I felt compelled to root for him as my second favorite team, but a distant second as far as rooting. Believe me I’ll be in my Fredex or Kelly Jersey at the game in December with my sons. Think of it this way, Brady just reinforces it was him not Chancellor Palpatine (BB) that caused those two decades of nightmares for us. At the end of the day, Brady is still a husband, dad and I don’t remember him slamming the Bills. He just kept beating us. I’d much rather have him healthy, beating him in December, and ultimately beating him and the Bucs in February. An injury is an excuse that if he was in the game, yadayada. I’d rather have JA17 beat him twice and the Pats suffer in misery again got a second straight year with an 8-9 record. Now that is a dish better served cold.

Tell Me About Average Bills Fans

Dude, a cat (a blimp, we’re not in the stratosphere). Chris Brown promo reference. Dogs brother. Cats are for old ladies and spinsters. Dogs are a guy’s best friend. Now go take a shot of toradol for that leg. -
Tell Me About Average Bills Fans
machine gun kelly replied to Shaw66's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That’s the Pat line for Donuts! Shaw, I know very few avg. Bills fans not from this board, but overall. Not that some guys (unisex term ladies) just kind of follow, but it is still more than most of not all other teams. Our guys are a little touched, but in a good way. -
That’s just for washed up QB’s.

And the Shadow Knows. I think that one is even before the great Chandman. I believe his best strength is not blocking, but he has excellent hands and catches everything. Not the biggest or fastest, but dependable. A boot is not a guarantee of a problem. Id just wait as I’d love to see the kid do ok.

Happy, I agree in that he fits the scheme and has the experience to be a fill in if he is now cheap. I don’t want to rehash all the Sherman stuff, but he wasn’t charged with a felony, didn’t hurt anyone, and has a pile of Mis. His lawyers will figure it out. I’m not a Sherman fan off the field pre meltdown, but he can still fill in if we need him and he would be chopping at the bit to get in a SB bound possible team that fits his skills. Norman didn’t workout, but was another stop gap fill in as he plays what we need. I don’t know what will happen, but I’m fine with a short list. I just don’t think we need someone now. That’s mine was a no.

The problem is any depth player as no one’s taking Levi’s job. Frazier and McD have all but said it. As Noggin who usually writes more eloquently than myself makes a significant point. This zone defense requires all the D Backs to know exactly where they are supposed to be at all times. We don’t play a man coverage unit so the Deon example is appropriate. Sherman when younger would’ve been perfect. I’m not crazy about the guy pre melt down, but he fits this scheme. GB makes a point about Dane in that he is just not picking up this scheme as quickly as people expected. I hope he improves, but Levi is steady and consistent since 2018. He’s going to get targeted as what QB wants to throw at White. Hyde and Poyer individually are each still talented, but together they know exactly what the other is thinking and work exquisitely as a tandem. We have the players McD and Frazier want so until draft day next year or an injury, we’re going to those that are on the roster.

I Can't Wait 'Til The Home Opener!!!!!!!
machine gun kelly replied to R. Rich's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Bring on AL vs. Appalachian State for a close 78-3 win. Roll Tide! Im just kidding as I believe they play Miami. I know it’s a little sad for Buffalonians to regret the end of summer, but down here in FL our summer is like you’re winters. It’s miserably hot every moment of the day and night, but you get to spend tons of time with you’re kids if little. The price we pay for living in a beautiful place the rest of the year. Football for me among other things means the heat will break in another 6 weeks. For anyone going to the Miami game in week 2, start hydrating now. Anyway, can’t wait for the Steelers game. We’re going to DESTROY THEM! -

Taiwan is for another thread as the OP asked about D Line. I don’t think you can parse out DE from DT as Frazier continues to discuss positionless football which has been trending for years around the league. I see the questions are do they keep Zimmer or Harry on the inside and Johnson on the outside. There is no upside on cutting Addison or Hughes. They don’t save that much money and will probably just exit quietly next year. Im paying attention to what happens to the above three. We’re almost assuredly keeping 10 total just like from a positionless POV we’ll keep 9 D Backs, and 6 LB’s. Some have to be ST guys. It makes sense as that leaves 3 specialists and 25 on offense.

I voted no as Wallace is having another good camp and I don’t see anyone better out there where we could afford them. As someone else said, they just don’t come available, and we don’t have the $. It’s not Madden, and you can’t have superstars everywhere. The other part is we play a zone defense based on understanding ones role. Wallace, T. Johnson, and White will be our starters as we play mostly nickel. I can see us drafting one with our 1st next year if a person is out there at the bottom of the round. At this point, we’re only picking up cheap depth guys after the final cuts.

A Few Thoughts....Intro [LAMP]
machine gun kelly replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Virg., I think this was great for newbies and casual TBD guys. We know you brother, but I read every word out of respect. I just kept thinking that’s my bud. Enjoy the games and know all of us regulars love in no particular order, and the rockpile review. You two typically have different points of view, but that is the fun. I hope you never stop and when work sucks, it makes sense it takes a couple of days. -
Funny I just watched the newer version of Karate Kid with Will Smith’s son at the gym. You reminded me of that classic line. it’s brassy, but can work when you have these guys. I remember last year, I believe we threw more than any other team in the NFL last year on 1st down. Opponents are going to be looking for it so we had better improve like we saw last week in rushing to keep them guessing. Can’t be predictable and these guys know it.

Peter King FMIA article feature Bills camp
machine gun kelly replied to BillsMafi$'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
King was just on Airing It Out on NFLR this morning. Most of his comments were on the Packers and Rodgers stuff, but he did make a few comments on the Colts with Wentz and Cleveland. He also talked about the success of QB’s that were allowed to sit for awhile including Brady, Mahomes, Rodgers, and one other. His point was related to Lance and the pressure Gnagi has for Fields. Not much was said of the Bills. I like King. I believe he is fair minded, and doesn’t try and do hot takes. -
Howard and Jeremy with Sal (WGR if you don’t listen on Audacy GB) have been pointing out the answer lies in outscoring the Chiefs. The Raiders played them well in running well and even though normally a bad pass rush team, seems to do well against the Chiefs.
