  1. Before my time, but my dad. Told me about Cookie Gilcrest’s pink Cadillac. He said people would say is “Lookie Lookie, here comes Cookie”. He sounds like a character. As far as others I’ve me several of the famous Bills from the early 90’s era. Most were good memories.
  2. Wel the day is over and we finished it off watching just the two of us “The Patriot”. 9 years in from China and still teaching my wife all of the beautiful facets that weave into our history and what it means to us.
  3. It’s likely speculation Ravens/Bills vs. the Eagles. I dont see the Chiefs getting to the dance this year. They may not even win their division as they finally have competition in Denver and LA. Its amazing what happens when you get a winning HC like Payton or Harbaugh. I just dont see the Rams, Bucs getting to the SB. Maybe Detroit.
  4. Happy Birthday America! I hope everyone outside of the bbq, beer, and most importantly family! Let’s not forget why we are celebrating today. Enjoy
  5. I’m happy for Dawson and his family. Enjoy the journey as it was a wonderful one for us. My sons are 26 and 24, and daughter 21. They’ve grown into wonderful young adults and I enjoyed every hurdle. So Dawson enjoy how wonderful being a dad is and truly fulfills you’re life.
  6. This issue is not a joke, so for me I’ll wait until the facts come out. I table judgement on these matters as it could be true and that’s disgusting, or a $ grab by someone wanting to cash in like what happened to Araiza. I’m glad Araiza finally had a 2nd chance with KC. So my point is just let’s wait and we’ll find out if there is merit to the suit. We need him so a suspension would stink.
  7. I always him. He started out in a rocky situation in SF, but then turned it around at KC and had success. He also had success at the Redskins before his catastrophic injury. I work in medicine, so unfortunately have seen too many car accident victims with these compound fractures. He’s blessed and cursed. Meaning the subsequent infection to not have an amputation is a miracle. Cursed in the news I hadn’t seen by his his daughter. I sincerely hope she is ok. To make it back on the field even for a brief time was an even larger miracle.
  8. It’s funny as my wife never saw it, so we watched the first half last night until she was tired. We’re up early in the am so we head to bed relatively early. She did think it was funny. ”you know Plato, Socrates, all morons”
  9. My suggestion is to ditch the Yanks game, and go to Chestnut Ridge as it’s beautiful in the fall. You can take great pics on the boulders there.
  10. Sounds like fun, but not practical for me in Tampa. I’ll be up for a game with my boys. Have a good time boys!
  11. As long as we have Josh, we’ll be fine. Besides, the Fish are weak in every way.
  12. I don’t know why any emerging QB would not want to emulate the best QB in the NFL for the last 20 years.
  13. I don’t care if others gamble, but it’s not for me. Someone in my family became addicted to gambling, and almost ruined him. I don’t even do fantasy football. My friends always bug me to join their fantasy league, but I always decline. It’s a risky endeavor with the potential for a problem.
  14. It was impetuous whoever wrote an article, or posted they snuck into the building. It was clear this was planned. The team wants to keep the fans excited about its construction. It makes complete sense. I’m sure we will all enjoy the new stadium.
  15. We’re deciding between KC and Tampa. We normally like to go into September, but there are only duds at 1pm on a Sunday. I know KC is a 4pm game. My reasoning is we want to only take a Friday, Monday off, and night games for me stink. Too late given my body is up at 5am everyday whether working or not.
  16. I think this was approved by the Bills. They wanted the PR.
  17. BTW- if you have ever watched MTC on NFLR, Pat Kirwan and I believe he consulted with Bill Cowher, there are a series of two books and audio books titled, First Take You’re Eye Off the Ball. My middle son loved the reads as he coaches. They are very helpful for really understanding football intricacies.
  18. I remeber that game as i just graduated from college at 20, and was preparing to move to Tampa at the 1st of the year to go to grad school. If memory serves, we saw it at the K of C in Lackawanna as my Dad’s side job from the news was the house manager. He put on great football Sundays with members, and would roll out whatever wasnt eaten at the weddings and parties that weekend. It was so much fun as he turned that lounge into a sports bar with tv’s from every angle. God i miss that beef on weck and famous pork chops. It was all on the house for the members, just had to pay for the beer.
  19. For me it’s either Dak or Lawrence.
  20. Well, Knox has been for several years, and Kinkaid is still rehabbing his two knee injuries. I’d rather have him a full participant at camp amd more healthy.
  21. Shakir is really a slot, but slot WR’s get a lot of yards. Diggs on the other hand is on the wrong side of 30, on a fundamentally mediocre team. Diggs was a great WR, but he’s getting older. For his sake, o hope he has a nice year with NE.
  22. Beane is fine. He brought us a winner. I think the reason why he kind of lost it to Jeremy and Joe about WR’s is he had Elijah Moore on the hook and he was trying to close the deal. Big deal. As far as losing to the Chiefs in the playoffs, thats 1 of 30 other teams that have lost to them in the playoffs. Outside of that outburst, he's been fine in my eyes. Thats just my opinion, and if you disagree, I understand.and appreciate other points of view. My typical response to several people is you must have a short memory givena 17 year drought I as many endured all of those years. It’s funny the MTC guys on NFLR (Pat and Mills) are rating by position group each group and the Bills on offense have rated in the top 10 in each group. They rate the entire room, not just the starter. They don’t play favorites, and they back up their ratings with tons of data. They started on offense and at the end of next week, they start on defensive groups. They’ve been doing this for years, and we’re not at the top of any group but rated high. If you have Sirius, you might like it.
