Beast, I’m not speaking for the author of that comment, but for me, what we can control is how we raise our kids. I’ve preached love not hate, and I’d like to think a role model for my kids, compassion, and not tolerate their friends if they make crappy comments. I tried everyday to think about how I acted so they watch what you do, not necessarily what we say. Beyond that, for us it was church, Catholic and Christian school, and pray. I just don’t understand the hate without even knowing someone. I’m so sorry for the families of these people. Just is terrible. I agree. Barkley is a good option. He’s going to be the third QB on the depth chart, and would have time to practice enough to do it, but there is one problem. That means we have three active QB’s on game day. Does McD want to do that or have Areiza just practice nonstop to get him ready. As much as I love the idea of fake kicks as an option to throw a quick out route on 4th and 4 to a backup WR, but I just don’t see them activating all three. Keenum will be the main backup as they trade for him for a reason.

I think the season will be sold out. It might not be full in December some will just stay home of the weather is rough. With the hype of the team and the season, tickets will fly off the shelf. Cue the yearly gripes of the schedule. It’s a predetermined and schedule, and just the way it fell. As far as the late divisional games or when is the bye, it’s going to hit sometime. The thanksgiving game is a mini bye post and as far as a short week, it is Detroit. Its also advantageous to have that extra time between the Rams, and the Titans. The Titans have been a thorn for two years. I see the positives states in the article and there are just so many variables going into putting together an NFL schedule for the league, there will always be positives and negatives. Just about every fan base has a segment of them griping about their schedule. It’s somewhat myopic as if the schedule makers are trying to figure out how to screw with the Bills. You never hear McBeane complaining about it, and they don’t encourage their players to complain. To the OP, thank you for sharing that article. That was very thoughtful.

It’s not Madden. The hard cap is just that a hard cap. You can only convert so much $ to signing bonus for existing players and kicking the can down the road. The cap is going up, but so is the salaries and specifically Allen, and Diggs, etc. CMC is a great RB. When healthy he is the most dynamic RB in the NFL up there with Kamara. They dwarf Barkley and Zeke. The problem is when you overwork a RB, they wear out. That’s it. It’s why smart teams rarely extend RB’s, vs. just get another cheap one in the draft. So now we have cheap labor for another four years. Moss hasn’t worked out. Maybe they hold onto him again as cheap labor, but Cook and Singletary will be the bell cows. No one IMO is comparing Cook to CMC. I’m not. We spent a ton on Von. It was a good call by Beane. We now have legitimate pressure up front for the best secondary as a unit in the league. We also have Milano. He’s a fantastic WILL LB.

Yep, and it will be 9 next year. It’s how the schedule works. Never understood why people complain about opponents etc. as it’s all explained if you know how the schedule works.
