  1. To think a guy worth $7 billion is not going to have a lavish home(s) and a yacht along with Im sure luxury cars is naive. He’s allowed to have beautiful stuff. The cost of the stadium is what $2.25 billion so he paid a ton. NYS has its only football team in this state. It’s not like NYS doesn’t already have more social programs than many states. I don’t want to get into a liberal vs. conservative point of view discussion so if you like or don’t like, it’s done. Moving on.
  2. Exactly. Cooper was pennies at $800k.
  3. Ive not responded on purpose only to say, im sorry he may have felt threatened and unfair to him. To others, he’s not responsible for his irresponsible son. Shooting at an innocent man is just wrong. I truly hope he is ok moving forward, and on the football side, we can beat him the right way. I don’t believe any of you would be culpable of a horrific crime. As much as i love my team, id never even want an opposing player to have an injury. I hate when posters do that stuff.
  4. I think its fine not to cut anyone, and because we've had a weak preseason, (no arguments as McD did the right thing testing our depth) so we need to get one more look at the depth. I agree its a nice gesture for Beane to cut people early, but if we want a deep team, we need every opportunity. i was a little surprised we only did one competitive practice vs. 2, and we did it on Friday close to the game. I expected two, ans bith on thursday of the game was on the weekend. There really is no excuse for our backups. We just have to hope these leaders pick the right 53.
  5. If you watch the new Hard Knocks episode, you’ll get to see him and hear his story. He reminds me of Buffalo Joe in just his hustle. If he makes the PS, it will be because of that high motor. He may make the PS. We’ll see.
  6. For me, I wouldn’t rewrite history as he was a top 5 WR when he came here, and eventually he aged and his drama didn’t help. He’s on the tail end of his career so I hope he can make some plays for NE, as I don’t hate the guy. As an aside, a couple of years ago he was incredibly nice to my sister who was doing her banking in Hamburg. Diggs was in the middle of a commercial, but stopped and spoke to her for several minutes. He didn’t have to be nice, but was just kind to her.
  7. To all my love slaves out there, …Thunderlips is here, in the flesh, babyee. The ultimate male vs. the ultimate meatball. My favorite Rocky other than maybe 2. You mentioned the first fight, but you didn’t mention the second where he puts him down in 3. Guys, we started almost no starters other than Bishop, and yeah he was awful. Don’t forget Marv avg. 1-3 in all his preseasons. We won’t learn anything in Tampa either. They cared more about resting even the slightest banged up to be ready week 1. Josh hasn’t even seen the field in a PS game. Hey,if we suck week 1, then there is cause for concern.
  8. I’m not showing an opinion about him, but the reality is the proposed starter looks terrible and is always hurt. Hamlin knows the system so he may keep his spot as a backup out of necessity. I don’t like it, but at least Beane tried to strike on Bishop, but overestimated his ability.
  9. I was one of the believers he was a product of bad QB’s. I’m sorry as I was wrong. Normally, I’m pretty good at being even keeled, and late to make judgements, but this was a mistake. It’s preseason so it was worth a try. I’ve not believed in Samuel for a long time. I always assumed they would realize the guy is injury prone.
  10. By the way, it’s not the choice of song as we’ve always had the Shout song since 1988, but the players chose it, and they love it. Embrace the team. They believe I always believing in the BRIGHTSIDE. Still having hope. I love this team even more than my fandom last year. its special. Not coordinated by the team, but the team has bought into the mission. God bless the BuffaloBills, and all of you. GO BILLS!!!!!!!!
  11. Einstein, no doubt every scoring opportunity, but when we know we've won, and it’s over, this is a great celebration song. Most of all, the players love, love it, and the fans have bought into it.
  12. That’s all I want for Xmas this year. I’m already blessed with a 95 yr. Old Dad, my 3 wonderful and productive children who are all Bills fans, an incredible wife, and life long friends. Just once while my Dad is still here. Please God make the 2025 season be the final one. My wife watched me and she saw me cry this morning as all of WNY, and former WNYERS just want at least one. I’m at that point this part of the year where there is growing hope. If you’re a naysayer, there lots of other threads you can do that as everyone has a right to an opinion. I’m hoping to hear from the true blue Bills fans that bleed red, white, and royal blue like mine. I’m doing much better with making it to church each Sunday, and have this as one of my prayers.
  13. K Man, you're close. Whats been reported from multiple local sources is Coach McDermott prior to the Chicago joint practice states it will be determined at game time who starts and how long he plays. Since the O Line isn’t the problem, one would speculate Josh may have not played of he had a good practice with the Bears. Since many of us already read it was a sloppy practice Friday, Josh may want to play at least one drive, but I doubt more than one series as he's too valuable to risk an injury. Some would argue he’s the most durable QB in the league, but why risk it.
  14. Thurm, I’m with you. Who says you only have a 2-3 year window? Josh could remain barring injuries 9-10 years as he’s only 29. He may evolve into more of a pocket passer the later in his career, but he’s steadily ascended for the last 7 years, and he’s started more games basically double of every other starting QB.
  15. This was par for the course for 17 years. One bad decision after another, crappy trades, draft pics, and overall mismanaged. Russ Brandon was in way over his head. I’m constantly reminded of well run we are now, and how well constructed we are from top to bottom. 31 teams and fan bases are let down every year. I want us to win the SB earlier rather than later, and hopefully a couple, but we may go after this run for the next 15 years without one.
