  1. I didn't like him on AFV but when he ended a show with "Honey I'm bringing Grandma home tonight, so break out the good weed" my respect for him definitely went up a few notches.
  2. pretty good summary page here from BR https://www.buffalorumblings.com/2022/1/7/22870642/find-a-rooting-interest-for-bills-fans-in-every-week-18-game
  3. SPOILERS BELOW No disagreement with the consensus here! The magic of the TV show was that not everything had to be wrapped up in a neat little bow at the end of every episode. As in life, things just don't work like that. The movie by contrast seemed rushed from beginning to end. We were barely introduced to Dickey's father, and the next thing we know he's getting his head bashed in. The whole twin thing was bizarre really, although I did find Liotta's performance of Dickey's uncle in prison to be a saving grace. All the Easter Eggs really hurt. It seemed like every other scene there had to be some reference to the original series. How many people did not hear the "varsity athlete" line coming a mile away?? And the actor who played Silvio went WAY over the top. Sil's mannerisms would have developed over time as he aged. The whole race riot subplot seemed distracting, disjointed, and unnecessary.
  4. Tensioning of the solar shield was just completed. There were cheers all around the command center. Still lots more to come, but a big step is complete
  5. That does not matter, you can still be charged with a DUI under these circumstances.
  6. Maybe somebody here remembers the game against Denver at the Ralph where the Broncos threw a hail mary at the end of the first half. The ball was tipped and Clements could have blasted Rod Smith into oblivion instead he went for the INT and got outjumped for the ball and the Doncos went on to win the game. There's a good time and a bad time to go for the INT, and I have no problems with Micah doing so in this instance.
  7. I found this to be a pretty succinct video summary of all the stuff that has to go right over the '30 days of horror'
  8. Not to mention the train horn represents an unstoppable moving object yet we play it on DEFENSE
  9. OP asked for your first Live concert not Dead! sorry can't resist Nice, my first show was Yes at Memorial Aud in 1991. I remember they played in-the-round with all 8 members present, and risers were used to swap in and out the band members to accommodate the next song
  10. Just need to tread water for now. Once we get healthy, we might be able to think about making a run. Sounds like Tuch could make his debut as early as January.
  11. I always feel a bit conflicted. Of course I want my players to receive accolades and recognition, but I can't help but believe that pro bowls nods mean that agents will demand more $$ and thus make these players a lot harder to re-sign. If I'm overreacting please set me straight
  12. I can't help but think some fan is going to wake up hung over tomorrow morning and find out that wasn't just a guy in a really good OJ costume
  13. I'm a huge Laurel & Hardy fan. I really think they set the bar
  14. For what it's worth, they were loud and proud on the tv broadcast. This was mentioned multiple times during postgame player and coach interviews. I think they should all get a patch for attending this game
  15. And I even forgot to mention the smells - sweet wood smoke in every direction. We were there the first year they started opening the lots only 4 hours before kickoff. These crazies were firing up their barbecues in the back of their flatbed pickup trucks while in traffic on the way in!
  16. KC is a great place to see a Bills away game. I have done it twice and had a blast both times (1 Bills loss, 1 Bills win). Many of the Chiefs fans boo'd us playfully at first, then invited us over to their tailgates and fed us until we practically burst. We received commendations for traveling so far to support our team. I lived in KC for a year - these people take their official family photos in Chiefs gear I kid you not - so they respect good fandom. During one year's tailgate we unwittingly found ourselves in the middle of a pre-game Native American war chant where fully dressed War Chiefs in full headress sang and pounded drums in a circle around us, culminating in a large poof of smoke and they were all gone! It was a very cool experience (even if Peerless Price did drop that pass late in the game I'm sure due to this hex!)
  17. I'm thinking we're gonna be ok Sal Capaccio @SalSports The Houston Texans placed their leading tackler, LB Zach Cunningham, as well as DT Ross Blacklock, on the Reserve/Covid-19 list and neither will play against the Bills Sunday. Blacklock is 3rd on the team in snaps at DT.
  18. Archie Ralph Kramden Ed Norton Sam Malone Alex P. Keaton
  19. This seems like a good place to post this reminder If your audio setup has a center channel (2.1, 5.1, etc) you can mute this speaker and silence the announcers while keeping the sounds of the game intact. You may need to turn down the subwoofer also, and commercials will sound strange, but this trick works with most sporting events.
  20. La Croix has helped me give up pop completely. I found some flavors I really like (Key Lime, Orange, Cherry-Lime) and it still has that 'burn' that is really refreshing especially during a meal.
