  1. okay I'll forgive him! Longest FG in Bills history to squish the fish - got to give him his redemption hope this finally gives him his mojo back!!
  2. Just getting back from 3 consecutive David Gilmour shows at the Hollywood Bowl. Had chilly weather (by LA standards) but the music kept us warm every night. Despite identical setlists each show was special. David's voice is holding up nicely for being 78 but his guitar playing is still simply incredible. Floyd classics shine, as does much of Luck and Strange. "Scattered" might be the best post PF song he's ever written. There are still the MSG shows remaining so if you're on the fence I couldn't recommend making the effort enough, especially considering the likelihood this abbreviated tour could be his last. If so, it's a heck of a way to go out.
  3. Truly a very special person. Jerry will be happy to see his old friend again.
  4. The miracle would be Uncle Terry finding someone better than McD. Do you really have faith he can?
  5. I've been doing this for over 10 years now. My favorite is when I invite new friends over but don't tell them.. they are like 10 15 minutes into enjoying the game before someone finally says "hey what a minute!" I have to increase the overall volume to hear the crowd noise well (the curses come in nice and clear) but if I forget to mute the commercials some of their sounds BOOM while others are silent. So it's not a perfect solution but overall it's been a revelation
  6. If your audio setup includes a center channel, try muting just that speaker. It should eliminate the announcer voices, leaving the sounds of the game intact. It's not a perfect solution (I also turn down my subwoofer to mute the low end of their voices) but it's well worth a shot.
  7. Many of us here prefer our horseradish strong enough to strip paint off the wall, so yeah
  8. Thought you were going the Haiku route there for a minute
  9. wgrz says this month they finalized a deal to open a new location inside the buffalo airport hotel on genesee
  10. Not sure if it was posted elsewhere in this thread but he's wearing #18 (per Alaina Getzenberg on X)
  11. Not being able to challenge the sky ref's call is the most Big Brother thing I've seen in the NFL
  12. Gilmour, not MSG but 3x at the Hollywood Bowl. Excited is not a strong enough word!
  13. Please don't hurt the kitty.
  14. I'm kinda glad I decided to watch tennis last night instead of football! I sure didn't expect to say that in my lifetime
  15. awesome resilience
  16. There's hardly any undeveloped land left anywhere in my part of West Seneca. It's kind of depressing to look at the google satellite maps of the area. We used to have minibike trails, and forests so thick we could have bonfires without anyone knowing. Now it's all housing developments. Historically they called this part of town "Back of the Moon". It's certainly anything but now.
  17. This is an endless argument on my favorite touring band's forum as well. The only answer is to read the room and act accordingly.
  18. I'm a little surprised to read this as Chinatown was the only place I felt unsafe in Honolulu. I'll third the Diamond Head hike - get there as early as you can to avoid the crowds (like get there before sunrise if possible). We had the pillboxes all to ourselves for a few minutes before hordes of tourists came up behind us. And Pearl Harbor is an absolute must. Even my senior citizen mom enjoyed the battleship and submarine tours, as well as the newly renovated Aviation Museum (The Arizona Memorial was under repairs during our visit so we only got to view it from the boat) .
  19. Signed to PS per a number of X accounts
  20. I would love to see more green chile find its way onto Buffalo restaurant menus, at least at the Mexican restaurants. It's really good, and quite addictive. Don't confuse green chile sauce with salsa verde or any type of chili. It's my favorite culinary offering from the Southwest.
  21. John Matocha. UDFA from Division II Colorado School of Mines. Can run and throw, broke Case Keenum's all time record for TD's in college history.
  22. 1 Generic please. Thanks, looking forward to it!
  23. The only safe number is zero. When your window is rolled down and you're being asked how much you had to drink that day, you want to be able to honestly say zero. Any deviation from this answer is going to be trouble.
