So the Pats should trade Mac Jones because he is limited and can’t bring the required physical traits of Allen, Mahomes, etc. to a team who would give up their star QB with those traits to acquire a QB who is limited and doesn’t bring the required physical traits to compete with Allen, Mahomes, and now the QB they just traded? Makes absolutely no sense.

Good analysis of the issues with Patriots roster

It’s obvious that their GM and coach need to sit down together and have a meeting of the minds about what’s best for the Pats*** moving forward. -
My Recovery from Belichick PTSD - the PATS forum in game thread

And in baseball, you get to go home. Just a tip of the hat to one of my favorite George Carlin bits. -
Impossible. Why, for the last 20 some odd years I’ve been hearing over and over and over again that the genius of Belichick’s keen defensive mind could never be dominated in such historic fashion as this. Belichick made history this evening. Kudos to you, genius!

1/15/22 WC PLAYOFFS Bills vs Pats* Postgame Thread

Apologies if it’s already been mentioned, but I have to give a tip of the hat to Dion Dawkins who, for the second straight game vs. NE***, completely erased Matthew Judon; just utterly owned him the entire game. Nice.- 547 replies

Given that we’ve seen Allen and the Bills completely own the Pats*** three of the last four games by an average of 23 points in each win, I’d say they need to upgrade an aging defense that just doesn’t have the answers for Josh Allen and Co.
-
I wanna know where that .7 deduction came from? FFS, he had more TD passes than incompletions for crissakes. We are definitely spoiled. To the point I think we take some of the amazing things Josh does on a game to game basis for granted because he makes it look so damn easy all the time. I mean, it just isn’t.
-
No doubt. He played every DB position with great skill. Indeed, he may have made the Pro Bowl at all three positions although I’m not certain of that. I’d say his best position was as a SS though. His impact from the SS position was a precursor to Troy Polamalu.

Well, McD ignored Belichick’s gesture at the end of the last game in Foxborough so maybe it was payback.
-
Love Micah, but Ed Reed redefined the position. Best FS to ever lace them up. You really couldn’t appreciate what he did on TV; you had to watch his artistry from high up to see how he routinely baited QBs into making throws they thought were there. Too bad we didn’t have the All 22 when he was in his heyday.

While Fitz doesn’t rank in my top five Bills QBs, he is without a doubt my favorite player ever. Nobody, NOBODY enjoyed playing for THESE fans in THIS city more than he did. We were lucky to have him.

It’s never really been Belichick that irks me as much as the clueless pundits and sycophants who just can’t get off his scrote. Truth is, he’s always been overrated as a defensive “genius” who will just take away what you do well and dare you to beat them with what you can’t. That has never really been the case though, going back to SBXV, where his point per minute against defense was lucky that the Bills defense was on the field for 40+ minutes and it STILL came down to a missed FG. He was absolutely correct in his post game presser tonight. We were better than them. That simple. Perhaps all those clueless pundits who clung to their “Belichick will make the genius adjustments, Josh Allen can’t play in cold weather” pronouncements will open their eyes a little. The simple fact is that Josh Allen and this Bills offense have absolutely owned Belichick’s defense in three of the last four games and if not for a meteorological gift from the weather gods in the first meeting this season, we would have been the first team to beat Belichick four games in a row. The tide has shifted. Time for the pundits to recognize that. Belichick certainly seems to. Too bad Shula is no longer around to give Bill advice on how to handle passing the torch to the Buffalo Bills.

Robert was still holding out hope for that “happy ending.”

I don’t know; I don’t think the Pats*** are the NY Jets at all. The Jets gave us a much better game than the cheaters have this season. I mean they actually made us punt. Screw the Pats*** and their sycophant pundits. We are gonna end Belichick’s career like we ended Shula’s. There’s a new AFCE sheriff in town and the B word line forms on the right. -

My comment was totally tongue and cheek as it pertains to our endless string of dome/no dome debates around here, but thanks for your input none the less.

Same on the other side. Dawkins owned his ass last time they played. -

Bart Starr had many years to acclimate. If you’ve never experienced it, nothing can prepare you for the slap in the face initially. There’s cold and then there’s dangerously cold.
