I thought it was a lake in the Adirondacks.

I can’t point out where you’re wrong because opinions aren’t subject to a right or wrong standard. You hate Duke and coach K. Fine. I was just pointing out how your post was seems to drip with petty bitterness and envy. That’s just my opinion. Regardless, coach K’s record as the all time winningest coach in the game stands on its own. It’s understandable how that fact might fill the hearts of Tar Heel fans with acrimony. I guess it’s easier for some to hurl insults and hatred rather than tip their hats.

The jealousy and bitterness ooze from every word.

My favorite play in Allen’s rookie year was against the Chargers in his first start when, on a scramble toward the sideline and with Melvin Ingram draped all over him, he refused to be tackled and got the throw off to the end zone before he went out of bounds. It was an interception, but it told me all I needed know about his heart, not to mention his sheer physical strength. And I was convinced that when his brain caught up to his heart, he’d turn into a great one. And here we are.

Our ability to project never ceases to amaze me.

What changes will Ken Dorsey bring to the Bills offense?
K-9 replied to Logic's topic in The Stadium Wall
Little to none. This is more Allen's offense than it is Dorsey's. Just as the Pats*** offense was Brady's more than it was any of the string of OCs he had in NE***. Just as offenses belong to any of the handful of top QBs, like Rodgers for example. -
Bills interested in signing Rob Gronkowski, per Tim Graham

Nope. -
But Terry has experience as a (non skating) hockey coach.

Tim Graham: Bills stadium deal could be announced this week.

Depends entirely on the type of turf/drainage/heating system they install or don’t install. -
I know that Anderson deliberately played himself off the team. As a 7th round pick in 1982, signed for the rookie minimum. With clueless Stew Barber in the GM chair. Versus Kelly as a 1st round, signed to the largest contract in league history, with Bill Polian presiding. I see absolutely nothing similar in their situations. Sure, Kelly could have tanked, but nobody would have given him the same record money after seeing him suck in the league. The Bills also owned him for five years, regardless. There couldn’t be more disparity in the situations.
-
I think he showed that with the Gamblers and it’s why they made him the highest paid player in history at the time. Not getting the Anderson comparison.
-
Absolutely, and his continued post career residency here speaks to that loudly. But making him the highest paid player in the league came first and provided the opportunity to experience the community.
-
Making someone the highest paid player in the game has a way of changing a mind.
-
Weather he scares players away or not, McD will whether the storm.

I agree entirely that an untold number of things will be discovered and our knowledge base expanded as time goes on. But I have to take exception with the term “we don’t know squat.” We actually know a helluva lot. Across a multitude of disciplines. We are an amazing species. When we recognize it and unify around that belief.

First ballot? Not likely. It’s hard for WRs to do that unless they so thoroughly outclass everyone else in their era. He stays on the same trajectory, then there’s a good chance he gets elected eventually.

So, Aaron Rodgers is gay? -
I understand that, but he’s gone DT in consecutive years before. I doubt Davis is gonna fall to the Pats*** anyway, but I suspect Belichick just won’t be able to resist if he does.
-
I’d like to know what industry doesn’t have a nepotism problem.
-
Why? As a QB, he has spent more time studying defenses in his career than anything else.
-
Doubt he gets past the Pats*** if he’s on the board when they pick.
-
I agree, it’s completely, totally irrelevant and is indicative of nothing when it comes to being a quarterback. It’s just a measure of pure arm strength. Period. I’m just incredulous at these “air speed” numbers put up by QBs with obviously weaker arms.
