    The filming of the cuts, including the visit by “the turk” who informs them, will be seen next week. I imagine Hamler and Ciarlo will be focused on along with Shavers getting the good news.

    “Best ever” debates are futile, regardless of subject matter imo. To me, all the “best evers” have a seat at the table. And it’s a round table.

    Given the comments since episode 1, I’ve been wondering if the majority of viewers have watched many or any at all of the previous 24 seasons. This season is exactly like every other imo. The only discernible difference I see is McD not allowing the cameras in his office.

    Yep. Dempsey missed an easy FG for the win as time expired. Guy sitting behind us said if he misses this I’m gonna run out there and kick his a$$. We were only about 10 rows up so he didn’t have a long way to go and he ran down the aisle and jumped onto the field. Last I saw was a half dozen security guards in hot pursuit.

    Tom Janik says hold my beer. Had a 100 yard return against eventual SBIII champion Joe Namath in ‘68. Our only win of the season.

    One that should have been on there that isn’t was a 108 yarder by Tony Greene that was called back vs. the Phins back in the mid 70s. What made it especially egregious was that the flag was thrown after the return was completed. Shula feasted on home cooking that day. Just as he did on many days back then.

    The only thing these two games have me wondering is when did we acquire so many pearl clutching preseason neophytes around here.

    Don’t care at all about the score, especially in a game where we are playing a bunch of guys who will be bouncers in a couple weeks, but what I need to see more than anything in this kind of preseason game is are we winning one on one battles, especially at the LOS. And we are currently getting our collective a$$es handed to us so far.

    I think the biggest reason teams are rethinking the issue is the change in practice rules in the last CBA.

    The decision by the league to eliminate the 4th preseason game was a direct result of adding a 17th game to the regular season and was part of the 2020 CBA.

    Josh can’t get us there alone and we’ve all seen how his supporting cast, from teammates to coaches, have let him down. This is why enjoying the journey is paramount.
