No, what you don't expect is for the 6th round pick to be the better player and force his way into the lineup.

11/3/24 Game 9 GAMEDAY! Bills vs Dolphins Post Game Thread

Close games between intra-division opponents who know each other well are the rule rather than the exception. Sure, we have blown them out several times, but many of these games have been just as close as well. Their D stopped us once all game on our first possession. Their offense is loaded with weapons so I’m not suprised they moved the ball like they did and I had a feeling going into the game the winner might be the last one with the ball. We dominated Miami on offense every bit as much as they did us. -

What if I said the opposing team only stopped us on the opening series and let us move up and down the field all game just as their offense did to us? -

Ball was in his hands and I think he may have had a chance to make the catch if Poyer isn't there. But like you said, we were most likely punting and giving them a chance. Thank you Jordan Poyer. -

If a defender has a reluctance to hit him, he shouldnt be on the field. Tua is a helluva competitor and the grit he showed on that 4th down scramble for the first down really underscored that. I didn’t see any defender letting up at all on that play in the least. They just missed the sack and had outstanding coverage down field. -

Yeah, we suck against the run, but we were essentially conceding it at times along with the TE and paases to their RBs . While Hill had 4 for 80, we actually did a pretty good job of containing him and Waddle was a non-factor. Gonna be another big challenge against Taylor next week, too. -

Mad respect. Big tip of the hat to Tua. -
TNF. Jets Texans. Who do we want to win tonight?

Safe to say he’s really missing Diggs and Collins at this point. -

Agree entirely. TNF has been a lousy product since it began. -
Achane’s speed hurt us several times in that game as they took advantage of Spector’s lack of it. I’d feel far more comfortable with Bernard.

Cooper and Samuel were both listed as limited in practice today

So saddened to hear this news. Lotsa laughs over the last 26 years. RIP, John. Travel well Bills brother.

No hitch in Bernard’s giddyup from what I can gather from the video, so that’s encouraging. We need him in the lineup, especially with the speed Miami routinely exhibits, especially by Achane. As for Cooper, bad wrist or not, as long as his legs are ok to run patterns, he’s gonna suit up and play.

Sounds like you might be clutching pearls about all this pearl clutching.

Poll: Would you trade Coleman for Worthy straight up?
K-9 replied to Lost's topic in The Stadium Wall
I wouldn’t have drafted Worthy, let alone trade for him now. Despite Samuels not working out at this point. We have enough off ball receivers anyway. -

What does Elam and a pick get you in this market?

Khalil Mack? -
Diggs was a good dude and enjoyed his stay here. And who can forget him taking selfies with fans, especially kids, at the open practices at the stadium. He’s a hound dog though, and he may have crossed a few boundaries with a lady or two in the building. But that aside, he was a great competitor between the lines and I respect him as a football player and it sucks he’s done done for the season with a long road back to what he was, if he ever gets there again.

Yep. Take what the D gives, hurt them enough to have to adjust, and then take what you want. Patience is the ultimate virtue for good OCs and good QBs. I think Brady is getting better at setting up plays for later, too. Those repetitive bubble screens to Shakir early on, for example, did that.

I recall an article from the mid-80s that said for the 25 year period from 1960 thru 1984, the Bills had the worst winning percentage among all teams across the four major pro sports played in the US. Don’t know if that was true or not, but having lived thru that stretch, I wouldn’t doubt it.

Khalil Mack trade - what would it take?

Yep. It appears so. Time to change my handle to Mr. Magoo. -

Got them of the game logs on pro football reference. Like I said, I got that number directly off the pro football reference game logs for 2024. https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/M/MackKh00.htm#last5 -
Khalil Mack trade - what would it take?
K-9 replied to MiracleAtRich1393's topic in The Stadium Wall
I wouldn’t offer them anything at this point. 1.5 sacks in seven games this season indicates a big decline. Heck, Von had three in the four games he’s played so far and he’s returning. I don’t think we need him. -
And countless great times. Went to my first game as a five year old in ‘64 and haven’t regretted a minute the entire time.
