  1. I know one thing about our training staff and that is that they saved a life, ON THE FIELD, in Cincinnati when they resuscitated Damar.
  2. That food fair at the Erie County fare is awesome.
  3. If you take a look around the league, you’ll see many soft tissue issues this early in training camps. And teams are super cautious about not overworking players who haven’t stressed their bodies to this level in months. The Bills are not unique in this regard.
  4. Many of you may have read this a few years ago, but for those that didn’t, here’s a link to an article and the opinion of an engineer who deals with wind dynamics. This is the guy who once explained to me why the winds at the current stadium do what they do. I tried explaining his analysis here at some point, but it was pooh-poohed by the masses. Oh well. Anyway, I thought some may find this interesting: https://ubwp.buffalo.edu/esdrg/media/radio/wind-energy-experts-take-on-new-bills-stadium-exterior-john-hall-quoted-2022/
  5. I’ll quibble a bit on the idea that they’re saying “wind confusion” because it sounds cool. As you well know, those perforated panels have a specific design function to convert wind from a turbulent flow into a smoother laminar flow. It’s less about the aesthetics than it is about the function. Although, aesthetically, using part of the Bills logo as the shape of the perforations is a nice touch. And I predict that when the stadium is finished the days of those harsh lake Erie winds having an impact on games and spectator comfort will be a thing of the past. But that walk from the lots to the entrance will still be a major PIA when the weather changes.
  6. Cardigans are just a vestigial artifact of fashions gone by. Mine has been hanging on the coat rack in the vestibule for years and just looking at it can cause a vestibular migraine. I find it better to invest in more up to date sweater fashions nowadays.
  7. A vested vet cut from the practice squad is not subject to waivers as he becomes a free agent upon release.
  8. Tre White is nearly two years removed from his achilles injury and four years removed from his ACL tear. He is right on schedule. Word is that he hasn’t moved this well in several years. Given his work ethic and experience, I cannot count him out and I won’t be surprised in the least if he ends up as CB2.
  9. A lot of gesticulations and verbiage and Josh being Josh, I doubt any of those words were harsh. It’s never been his style.
  10. Depending on the severity of your sleep apnea, you may qualify for the Inspire device. And you’d certainly qualify for a mandibular advancement device or a MAD as it’s often referred to. I tried that CPAP route years ago and like 50% of the population, I am CPAP intolerant. Great advice on the diet and exercise component. My APNEA is now considered moderate as a result and I’ll be getting fitted for a MAD in the near future. Figured I have nothing lose, but I’m skeptical.
  11. Not mad about the penalty, but I’m still pissed he allowed Jefferson to catch that pass on 4th and 18 against the Vikings a few years ago when a simple play would have sealed the game. 4th and 18!
  12. The tv viewing audience. Like we do watching games at SoFi, Allegiant, or other new stadiums. Might also be attractive to advertisers
  13. Are you referring to deep balls as they relate strictly to go routes or just pass attempts on any route that covers 20+ air yards?
  14. I was hoping for LED displays on the roof, but given the complexity of the snow melt and drainage system, that may not be possible. But it would be cool to have charging bison running laps around the roof. Perhaps even chasing a frightened dolphin or two.
  15. Carter showed flashes before his wrist injury derailed his rookie season. He just wasn’t the same when he came back, which stands to reason given how important those hand battles are at the LOS. If he can stay healthy, he may surprise us this year.
  16. And somewhere, Daboll was losing his crap.
  17. Let the stream of consciousness reporting commence!
  18. Did the exact same thing.
  19. Like it was yesterday.
  20. Correct. Because when you’re thinking about pistachios, you’re thinking of Josh’s nuts because he and his father recently planted their first crop.
  21. Leaky gas! Thank you, Phil Liggett.
  22. Hope they already paid for all their copper. My BIL owns a communications cabling business and several of his bids got blown up because of the latest spike in prices due to just the threat of tariffs on Brazil.
