  1. Perhaps it’s different on other platforms for the app, but I’ve never been able to watch a show on the app when it was first showing on the HBO cable networks. Indeed, while I was watching it at 9 on Spectrum cable, my brother had to wait until that airing was over until he could watch it on the HBOMAX app. I wonder if others around here who couldn’t watch it on the app initially were able to at 10pm.
  2. For what it’s worth, since Hard Knox is an HBO original show, it will air on the HBO tv cable networks at 9:00pm, while app users will have to wait until 10:00pm to watch it via the app.
  3. IMO, the best series finale episode of all time.
  4. As long as we can discuss Max Hairston’s knee injury, I’ll be good to go.😄
  5. My bet would be no.
  6. Mulligans on Hertel by any chance?
  7. Yeah, I figured that after re-reading your post and your reference to Bosa and Epenesa. I’m not always quick on the uptake.😂
  8. Not since the Beauts went out of existence.
  9. Yep. Doesn’t matter how good your instincts are if you don’t have the athleticism to get to the place you know you have to be.
  10. Agree entirely. Troy was one of those once in a generation players who redefined a position so anything close to that means greatness.
  11. I’d add the zone-read as a modern parallel, too, as both the wishbone and zone-read require the QB to read the edge setter on defense.
  12. Not only is Josh not the problem, he’s actually one of the best playoff QBs in history.
  13. As I said last week, I’ve heard he is moving better than he has in years.
  14. Good question. I’ve known several on the training/medical staffs over the years, so I’ll put out some feelers. I know that Denny Kellington took a big promotion with the Panthers earlier this year, but a couple still remain from the staff on the field saving Damar.
  15. I know one thing about our training staff and that is that they saved a life, ON THE FIELD, in Cincinnati when they resuscitated Damar.
  16. That food fair at the Erie County fare is awesome.
  17. If you take a look around the league, you’ll see many soft tissue issues this early in training camps. And teams are super cautious about not overworking players who haven’t stressed their bodies to this level in months. The Bills are not unique in this regard.
  18. Many of you may have read this a few years ago, but for those that didn’t, here’s a link to an article and the opinion of an engineer who deals with wind dynamics. This is the guy who once explained to me why the winds at the current stadium do what they do. I tried explaining his analysis here at some point, but it was pooh-poohed by the masses. Oh well. Anyway, I thought some may find this interesting: https://ubwp.buffalo.edu/esdrg/media/radio/wind-energy-experts-take-on-new-bills-stadium-exterior-john-hall-quoted-2022/
  19. I’ll quibble a bit on the idea that they’re saying “wind confusion” because it sounds cool. As you well know, those perforated panels have a specific design function to convert wind from a turbulent flow into a smoother laminar flow. It’s less about the aesthetics than it is about the function. Although, aesthetically, using part of the Bills logo as the shape of the perforations is a nice touch. And I predict that when the stadium is finished the days of those harsh lake Erie winds having an impact on games and spectator comfort will be a thing of the past. But that walk from the lots to the entrance will still be a major PIA when the weather changes.
  20. Cardigans are just a vestigial artifact of fashions gone by. Mine has been hanging on the coat rack in the vestibule for years and just looking at it can cause a vestibular migraine. I find it better to invest in more up to date sweater fashions nowadays.
  21. A vested vet cut from the practice squad is not subject to waivers as he becomes a free agent upon release.
