  1. Because it’s early morning in the UK, which means they will arrive mid afternoon local time and that sets them up to better normalize for an afternoon kickoff on Sunday.
  2. I’m liking Torrence more and more each week. A few of his snaps the other day ended up with him lying on top of the Miami DLman he just demolished. And I don’t recall hearing Wilkins’s name all day.
  3. Yep. Nobody laps up media hype better than the media itself.
  4. Boiled meat and porridge.
  5. Josh lives rent free in their heads. Has been since his rookie year.
  6. I think we want the light bulb to go on for him soon.
  7. Then Tua is a winning QB because he put the loss on his shoulders and took full responsibility for it.
  8. Poyer yes, but he would get abused as a slot corner.
  9. I was there and remember it like yesterday. Got to our seats just in time to see Herb Mul-Key of the Redskins christen the new stadium with an opening kickoff return for a TD.
  10. Being able to zero in on some plays while rewatching various series, Milano was looking like Luke Kuechly out there. He was an absolute beast today and him and Bernard were responsible for getting Tua off his first read on many occasions today. That tandem is putting together a solid season early on.
  11. I agree. I was just explaining that’s usually the reason refs will suddenly call a penalty on something they’ve been letting go all game.
  12. It was fairly obvious, but the issue is the refs literally let more egregious D holding penalties go all night. Then again, refs will usually call a penalty they’ve not been calling all night if the penalty actually contributes to the outcome of the play, like holding penalties that actually make it possible for a run to be successful for example. Perhaps in this case they felt the KC receiver would have had an opportunity to make a play on the ball otherwise.
  13. Yep, they did it against the Browns IIRC. It isn’t about low odds in that situation, it’s about removing the odds completely and guaranteeing your team wins.
  14. I will be super pissed if Josh ever does go into the endzone in that situation. Mahomes made the correct, heads up play.
  15. I just wanna say how deeply saddened I am by the news of Mac Jones’s benching.
  16. We know he came back in the game and played well, so at least there’s that.
  17. Can’t forget the oline with Hull at center, Richter and Davis at guard, and Ballard and Wilford at the tackles. Four pro bowlers and another (Davis) who deserved it every bit as much. Taking nothing away from the E company who were great in their own right, but I think that O line in our SB era was better.
  18. The chance for a miracle was hard to buy watching Tua still out there when Hill and Waddle were on the sideline with their helmets off.
  19. Some around here owe McDermott an apology.
  20. If he’s been cleared medically, and has a good, productive week of practice, then there is no reason to hold him out against the Jags next week.
  21. As long as it’s a Sunday or Monday, I don’t really care when the game starts. But they need to get rid of the Thursday night football abomination, regardless.
