Why don't qb's wear a mirrored visor like McMahon used to?

Heed needs to wear these to confuse DBs: -

Looks like the douchebaggery epidemic is worse than the obesity epidemic. -

Yeah, but what about that douchebaggery? -
Until we know the details, I’ll stick with my opinion as previous multi lateral talks in 90s and 2000s had concrete, substantive, tangible, and transparent methodology for both denuclearization and verification by the IAEA, including military installations. At present, this is nothing more than an agreement to have an agreement which isn’t nothing. And from a symbolic POV, having our president himself at the table set an important precedent. But we need to know the details before I can salute anything.

Starting point yes, and that’s important. But we’ve actually been a helluva lot farther with N Korea in the past only to see them resort to their usual crap.

Josh Allen to start getting some 1st team reps

Another in a rapidly growing list of little things that suggest this kid will be successful. As per the bold text, you’d be surprised how many rookie QBs lack the humility to do that. -

Obese people can seek treatment and make a change. Where can you go to treat your douchebaggery? -
Good point about concessions vs symbolic gestures. We would do well to remember that. Gestures are important to the process, particularly in most Asian cultures. It will be interesting to see how some of the Asian media outlets spin our goodwill gesture. And, as predicted, China wasted no time in demanding that sanctions against N Korea be lifted.

Bears, Lions, Eagles, Steelers Talent Organization; one of the first scouting cooperatives. -
The more I hear Josh Allen speak and speak at length, the more impressive he gets. It was a little thing, but when they asked about he and Phillips taking the pics with the wedding party at the stadium the other day, the first thing he mentioned, the first, was that Austin Proehl was also in the picture as well. A little thing like I said, but indicative of the kind of teammate he will be. Can't believe they had a "convicted rapist" on there as a guest, though.

And we wore onions from our belts, as was the fashion in the day. The "good old days" means that time in your life when you didn't have the responsibilities of an adult. -

Thanks, Juror. My dad walked the walk for sure. If I have a chance, I’ll check out those places in Silver Spring. Thanks for he tip. -
1) Totally agree. 2) The “legal sense” doesn’t necessarily matter when it comes to what the Congress may consider as “high crimes and misdemeanors” and “abuse of power” may have a wide scope in their deliberation of the matter. Especially when the president would had to have been found guilty of a crime in order to have something to pardon himself for in the first place. Conduct deemed unbecoming may be enough. I totally agree with everything else in your post. One helluva Constitutional issue indeed.
-
If the Senate construed the act of self pardon as an abuse of power, the crimes and when they occurred don’t matter. How can it be an abuse of power if that power is enumerated in the Constitution? The idea I’ve heard put forth is the notion of using that power for his own self interest is in itself an abuse of that power. I keep thinking of that old Looney Tunes cartoon with the elephant that plays baseball and the line “there’s nothing in the rule book that says an elephant can’t pitch.”
-
Your second paragraph is key to the issue. Which is why so many legal scholars don’t think he would succeed even if he did pardon himself as the Senate may construe the act as an impeachable offense in and of itself. It would be an interesting test of the Senate.

Political And Racial Agendas Ruining Sports
K-9 replied to Like A Mofo's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
My dad and sister served/serve in Buffalo public schools so I’m not personally familiar with the DC school experience or with the Maryland schools that Juror was pointing out for that matter. Besides, I don’t think the money per student issue addresses the point he was making. His point goes far deeper than that; the very environments in which the schools he experienced were located for starters. -

Outstanding. Over 60 years ago, when he first became an educator, my late dad purposely chose assignment in the very type of neighborhood you describe. Many years later, my sister made the same choice and still serves in the most economically challenged district. My dad and my sister, like you, pointed to many of the same conditions you describe above. Lack of everything from coats to shoes to nutrition to the very classroom tools required (abundantly available in other districts) etc., render it nearly impossible for kids to learn, let alone succeed. It’s criminal that this is still the reality for so many. As as an aside, I happen to be in the DC area for a bit and I shopped at the Safeway on Thayer yesterday. Small world. I meant to add that your mom sounds like an incredible person. Indomitable spirit comes to mind. -
The force of Kanye’s dragon energy.

Saddened by this news. He will be missed. He’s one of the good ones at a time when good ones are needed most.
-
Not at all. He’s a major matchup issue for everyone. And I’m not taking anything away from him as a player. But the Pats*** have proved that they can win championships without him.
-
Great player, not instrumental to their success though. Don’t know if I’d label him irrelevant as he’s a main cog when in the lineup, but he isn’t the straw that stirs their drink.

Nothing better than playoff hockey. Happy for Ovie. And congrats to Vegas for their success; what a story they were and what a Godsend to that city when it needed it most.
