  1. While I fully agree with your points on culture and this being a team players want to be a part of, it is fair to say that TW gave a hometown discount in retrospect only. Signing record deals just isn’t part of the hometown discount formula. Even if that record deal is surpassed shortly thereafter.
  2. Tre would have had to wait two years. When we exercised his 5th year option, he was under contracted thru the ‘21 season and he would have had to wait until March of ‘22 to become a free agent. A lot can happen to a player over two full seasons of football and TW was smart to get the security now.
  3. Yes, it’s a four year “extension” of his current his rookie contract, which runs thru the ‘21 season because we exercised his 5th option back in April. The extension keeps him under contract thru the ‘25 season.
  4. Not to quibble, but TW will be 31 when he becomes eligible for free agency.
  5. Kim Pegula plays the same role for the Bills as she does for the Sabres and the Bills are a stable, viable franchise which seems to suggest the Sabres have issues far beyond Kim Pegula.
  6. Which is an advantage for the defense.
  7. I hope so. Like the old, but suddenly seen everywhere, saying goes: iron sharpens iron.
  8. Where’s the “ghost” button?
  9. This can’t be true because just a few days ago I read right here in this very forum that our health care systems were never overrun during this made up hoax of a pandemic. Seriously though, heartbreaking doesn’t begin to describe the anguish so many of our fellow citizens have experienced.
  10. Yolo bot be glitchin.
  11. Can’t remember the last time I was so blown away by a player interview. For as fun loving as TW is on and off the field, he possesses a rare perspective, especially for someone 25 years of age. He may be young in years, but he has an old soul. We are so lucky to have a man like this in our city, on our team.
  12. Phew! Reading the thread title, I thought Beane predicted we finish with a 9-7 record in an interview.
  13. I agree. I think it’s more gonna look like the first preseason game than the first regular season game for both teams. It’s just so hard to mimic real conditions in limited practices.
  14. I hope we aren’t expecting a well oiled machine right off the bat. Not a minute of meaningful football since January, severely curtailed off season programs, and no pre season live action just doesn’t bode well for well executed football, especially on offense.
  15. Joe Gibbs would be proud. I wonder if Beane consults him on these kinds of moves.
  16. Yeah, but at least it was in plain sight and we didn’t click on some bogus link to see it.
  17. Not at all. Let’s add intellectual dishonestly to the list of rhetorical short comings that prevent you from being capable any meaningful exchange. Off with you now.
  18. Right, that’s what morons do; seek scientific data and analysis to draw conclusions. You’re dismissed.
  19. I believe in data compiled by both government and non government entities. And it dovetails nicely with common sense. And I wasn’t being sarcastic. You have a superiority complex and I was just acknowledging that.
  20. Ok, genius, what is it that you think that is so superior to us morons? And nobody needs to rely on the “magic box” given the amount of empirical data available on government and non-government sites. But I get it, you’re just so much smarter than everyone else.
  21. Looks like a owe Jason LaConjecture at least half of an apology. But screw that!
  22. I’d agree entirely if I thought for a second that Trump was really a billionaire.
