  1. @mrags go get em tiger!! Nice contribution! I knew you had one in ya!
  2. I don’t think Purdy is a great QB by any means- but shanahan didn’t get below average QB plays last season. Agree to disagree
  3. Yeah, I realize all of this- he is SF’s Josh Allen. He’s the main reason they were in the SB imo. But it’s also his philosophy as to why they don’t have a top QB. Lynch took one failed stab at Lance. Other than that- they haven’t attempted to land a big fish unless you consider Jimmy G a big fish. He wanted Cmc and is ok giving up many picks and paying him almost 20M to be the back in his offense. He wants weapons. He’s paying for them. You thought the niners got below average QB play last season? Even in the SB- he wasn’t bad. He just didn’t do enough. Shanahans offense didn’t do enough for him either.
  4. You said the bills should’ve drafted Jordan Addison- what question did you answer? Then you said they should have traded up for him. Tough to say why someone should’ve done with zero context. At what cost? Do we trade our first and second for him? That may have been the cost…..if so…..should we still have drafted Jordan addison? I wouldn’t. I love Addison. He was my #1 target last year. I was hoping he was going to be our pick one way or another but trading up for him may have not been possible - hence he’s not really an answer
  5. I’d throw in should the niners fire Shanahan? He can’t beat mahomes- pretty sure he’s 0-4 lifetime. Bested twice in the Super Bowl. Obviously the answer is no, but McDermott has faired MUCH better vs Mahomes and Reid than Shanahan has. KC is the standard and he’s o’fer. McD just can’t beat them in the playoffs…..same for shanahan
  6. Do we know that he didn’t try and trade up for Addison? Or would the GM who traded up for a different pass catcher decide it would be smarter to keep that information close to the vest. Talking about failed trade ups isn't usually a consideration
  7. lol- “we could’ve traded up two spots higher”…….. according to whom? You can’t just hit a button and trade up. Not every team is looking to trade back. What cost us a 4th to move up for Kincaid may have cost us a 2nd for Addison. I’ll take Kincaid and Torrence over addison every day. not unrealistic- but not a given that we could have either
  8. Shakir’s play last season was NOT just a guy. His stats- whatever- watch his play. He’s not a jag. He was a very good WR last season. . i can’t comment so much on Samuel last season as I only watched him vs the Bills. My knowledge of his abilities and his former QBs suggest that he’ll be more than a jag with 17. to me, just a guy can be replaced by another just a guy. I consider Hollins and MVS jags. I don’t think they can step in for shakir and Samuel and produce similarly. Seems to me that we have different opinions of the term. All good
  9. Yes- I think he’ll get a 6th or a 7th for a guy he was going to cut Calling Shakir and Samuel jags IS throwing shade. Are they great players? Haven’t shown to be yet, but that doesn’t make them jags.
  10. 💯 same people saying the same things every day. I’m guilty of it too I’m sure, but for as often as I check the site, I feel as if I rarely post anymore. I find myself clicking reply then think “nah, why bother”
  11. 2011 Mavs too- Dirk may have been but maybe not according to all Tatum was 1 of 5 1st team all nba. Yeah- no help at all. Lukas teammates 1-11 from 3.
  12. Lol- no butler
  13. Are you a nyks fan Badol?
  14. He was an all-star. I’m sure you meant to say All-nba voters. 3rd team is always a tough call. Every player voted in had a higher scoring average than him. Curry and Sabonis are the only 2 players that didn’t make the playoffs- I watched a ton of king games this year and Sabonis was such a monster. He deserved imo. Curry is Curry. Booker, KD, LBJ or Kawhi? Tough. Sucks for Brown. Brown isn’t a good playmaker or rebounder. He’s a good (sometimes very good) man defender but he doesn’t force a lot of turnovers. He’s not a stat guy but he’s turned himself into a winner and possibly Chompion Impressive regular season and finals performance- they had maybe the easiest run to the finals of any team in recent history. miami- no Butler cavs- Mitchell gets hurt. pacers- haliburton gets hurt. 3 series- each vs teams without their best players for all or some of the series. not to say they wouldn’t have made it- but was an easy run nonetheless Yeah- he’s wasn’t even voted top 15. That said, Josh wasn’t even voted to the pro bowl 😂
  15. Luka plays D- he’s just not athletic enough to play good man d. He plays solid help and isn’t too bad playing post D against bigger guys. Active hands. Cement feet. The ringless top 3 thing is a fair comparison for sure. I can see that point of view Luka’s efficiency flaw is the exact same as Josh, turnovers. His FG% isn’t poor at all.
  16. I don’t. I was just using those numbers to prove a point……but he is who he is because of his physical being more than his football IQ. Luka is who he is because of his basketball IQ
  17. I think he’s more like Anthony Edwards. He can do everything well. Jaylen Brown has awful handles for a wing that loves to take it to the paint I don’t see Luka at all. Josh is 90% physical ability. Luka is 10% physical ability-90% IQ
  18. Calling people out seems to be your MO here, so who are the posters that run and hide? I’m shocked that you haven’t tagged anyone.
  19. Unless you consider Dan Mitchell a podcaster. He’s def the worst!
  20. Yes——-there is more to it. I’ve never said injuries are the only reason…..but without them (and added injuries to KC) and I think we would’ve beaten them this past season. Coaching, execution and injuries. If you take out all the poorly executed plays and replace them with executed plays, I think we win that game. Same goes for coaching. Same goes for injuries. All 3 combined and we couldn’t overcome a great team that was fairly healthy
  21. When’s the last time you went there? 😂
  22. Idk what to say man, if you don’t think missing several starters means anything- we disagree Maybe you missed the times where we beat KC in KC in the regular seasons while playing with more key players on defense….and then missing them in the playoffs. Maybe having more good players on the field doesn’t have anything to do with winning and losing….,but I believe it does. Our defense played much better in the regular season than in the playoffs and part of that is because he had better players on the field. its not 💯 Reid owns McD in the playoffs and that’s the bottom line- there’s more to it than that and having more starters on the field has something to do with it.
  23. Yeah…..their second team OL steamrolled our 2nd team DL. what’s systemic? Not winning a Super Bowl? Same goes for every team in the nfl not named KC and the rams atm.
  24. Yeah we do——- partly because we’ve been missing our best players. How many teams are winning super bowls after missing several of their best players? Who were the chiefs missing last season? How about the year before or their 19 team? Then compare those injured players to the Bills injured players. Last years team was especially beaten up after the Steelers playoff game
  25. I think he’s a niche player. He can make plays downfield and he can run block. His size and strength can create mismatches vs certain players. It’s on Brady and Allen to find those mismatches. I don’t think he’s a great player by any means- but I think he’s a better WR5-6 than we’ve had in awhile.
