  1. Ok sorry- wasn’t sure you were referencing with “ok, that’s your opinion”. 👌
  2. I mean….he hasn’t been traded yet. So it’s too high. If it weren’t too high, then someone would’ve traded for him. NFL teams are telling the raiders it too high. there is commitment in 2024….. 13M of space that we don’t have, no?
  3. We don’t know what it is, but we do that it’s currently too high. In the long run, unless the raiders cave, i think there are other less costly WRs that likely make more sense
  4. And it seems the price tag on a couple month rental is a bit steep
  5. Josh is sometimes not elite. Happens to many. The nfl is tough
  6. Other than Elam- it’s a great class for sure
  7. Yeah and you’d be paying a terrible contract to Gabe, would have one less 2nd rd pick and lots more cap problems going forward…..while still not having enough weapons
  8. Yeah- he’s really seeing it and slinging it.
  9. Yeah, it’s part of it. Not making a move for an elite pass rusher and everyone complains that we aren’t giving Josh enough to win. maybe we should’ve signed chandler jones. There weren’t a ton of elite rushers to hit the market. Miller was the only elite other than possibly jones. Reddick was solid but certainly no von miller. He went after the guy with the highest upside and championship pedigree. Also came with the biggest risk. But he tried to surround Josh with a loaded team. He succeeded. Injuries ruined it It doesn’t matter if it’s annoying or not. What would be more annoying would be to fail and putting together a good pass rush and then giving up on it. Having a good pass rush coincides with winning super bowls. Having a poor pass rush usually leaves you in the cold. I applaud him for trying to add elite talent at the 2nd most important position in the league. Everyone cries about us not having any elite talent. Well, von was elite, he just came with a big risk
  10. The problem is only that he got injured
  11. 👍🏻 I’d be shocked if we don’t resign Groot. I think his best football is still ahead of him. Chase Young got 13M and Fatukasi is a 320 DT. i hear what your saying about having someone that plays more snaps for the money than what Von gives us, but more than anything, we need him healthy in the playoffs and I feel that will dictate his snaps this season. at his current price- I don’t see why anyone wouldn’t want him based on his play.
  12. Who could we have gotten at the current price of 9M + incentives? Floyd, Autry and Dorrance Armstrong are the only guys close imo. Floyd faded hard. Autry not really a fit imo. Armstrong looks like a nice player and probably the only guy that can be as effective as Von in that price range (based on what we’ve seen from Von this season). He’s been very good this season in an albeit limited role. I don’t understand the Von hate (not from you @Sojourner) other than maybe hating him as a person. On the field, he’s an asset this season as long as he can stay healthy. Last season is no more.
  13. Further reconfirming my thoughts on how you see the game edit- I love Solomon. I think he’s going to be a valuable player this season. The current version of Miller is better….and he’s a proven closer. He’s a champion that has a track record of making big plays in big moments.
  14. His play over the first 3 games was worthy his 8.5m contract imo. If healthy, I’m quite confidant he’ll be worth his contract. This isn’t 2023. He’s looked good you’re comparing Solomon to him after watching the kid play for like 5 minutes 🤣
  15. We traded for rasul Douglas just last season. agree to disagree
  16. LG is a huge weakness for them imo. He’d mash them. I do love me some Carter though, I think he’ll eat too
  17. Pretty sure Von is the only guy we can jettison and gain cap space. The others dead cap only subtracts from our cap room. Bad ideas “Right now” Von is a non factor? 🤣 man oh man. yes, right now, as a suspended player, he’s a non factor. When he’s not suspended, he’s not a non factor. Is he suspended for the entire 24 and 25 seasons?
  18. Then why were they still involved in trade talks other teams were listed as “out”? I don’t agree with the bolded. Beans is always looking to upgrade at the right price
  19. Came to “almost a complete stop”…..meaning what? Backward momentum? No. Thanks. he still had to turn and get up to cooks speed, wasn’t going to happen.
  20. And you used the cornerback covering Keon as evidence that josh shouldn’t have thrown the ball- when in reality he had zero chance to make a play on the ball- evidently you completely misrepresented the play as well.
  21. The person, scout, coach, service or otherwise is only correct when in coincides with your opinion. 👌 got it
  22. For someone so smart you’re really oblivious to forward momentum. the CB was moving with Coleman, he would’ve had to turn around and reach cooks speed in under a millisecond in order for your claim to be true. Cook was already moving in that direction. The corner had to stop, turn and run. This really isn’t that difficult to grasp
  23. You can’t make it make sense. we’re all agreeing that our WR group is weak (ESPECIALLY without Shakir) and our coaching has been poor in the last two weeks. Some realize that that can happen AND Josh can have a bad game because he made some bad choices and made some poor throws. Others think they are god-like and superior to 99% of the population that watched the game and thought he had a bad game because of multiple factors- including his decisions and poor passes
  24. lol- stop saying Josh didn’t suck last Sunday. He was horrible. He’d be the first one to agree Right. But Josh wasn’t bad on Sunday, so we must be wrong
