  1. Ok- so you think it’s a good trade because we got a very good player in return, opposed to the 💩 the eagles got in return?
  2. trading for Jahan Dotson is very similar to trading for a proven very good WR? I haven’t read the majority of this thread, but I noticed a couple of your takes (ie: this trade sucks- we gave up too much). sorry if you’ve already explained but how is trading for cooper very similar to trading for Dotson? Other than trading draft picks for a WR.
  3. He’s terrible. Will likely be his last season before he joins Kelvin Benjamin and Jordan Matthews transitioning to TE miserably
  4. 😢 this makes me sad. I wanted the thiccer kicker fosho
  5. So we grade 1T on tackles now? Got it 👌
  6. DQ has not been invisible- your view of DL play is 💩 imo
  7. No
  8. agree about Mooney being the MUCH better signing, but 3-39 was too steep for his tastes considering our need for DTs. If the choice was Daquan and Samuel or Mooney, I’d take Daquan and Samuel. I know you don’t notice him very much, but he’s a presence and a huge part of our D.
  9. I absolutely agree with the lack of investment in WR from 21-23 has hurt our offensive progression and roster make up. Beane certainly mismanaged that unit. regarding the Diggs extension…..iirc, they needed to free up the money to sign Von Miller. The majority of the room came from that extension. Beamer did what he had to do in order to secure a vital piece in capturing a Lombardi. Then the injury happened and we lost 2 playoff runs partly because he wasn’t there/was useless. In hindsight, it was a terrible move with the Miller injury and Diggs regressed some as a WR while also bringing too much drama and eventually forced his way out in an offseason where he carried a massive dead cap. at the time of the moves, i thought they were fine. The moves gave us the best chance to win a SB over the next 3 seasons. It’s hard to predict acl tears and that tear really compounded the Diggs extension. In my post, I was commenting on this offseason, not what led us to this offseason
  10. The way I see it, proper context IS that Diggs didn’t want to be here anymore and the HAD to trade him. This happened after free agency. The only real upgrade left at the time of the trade was to trade up for BTj. That’s the only way we could’ve “won”. I don’t think any of the WRs available when we picked are so much better than Keon, if at all, that we would’ve “won”. It’s was a BTj or bust kind of offseason. Considering the Diggs dilemma, I think Beane did a good job. Samuel, being the caveat. He’s been a terrible signing to date, but that could change. Turf toe for a WR with his skill set and size is a beast to deal with. Let’s hope that’s been a major problem with his play. Do the back to back LB picks currently leave you sour? I think those picks hit everyone the same at the time of the selections. But now, they are looking like steals.
  11. Dam son!! How big are your ankles???
  12. Comments like these make me wonder about you Ethan. This is just so dumb it leads me to believe that you’re lying about being a Dr.
  13. The bolded is just an outright abomination of a statement. Maybe you don’t remember Diggs prior to joining Josh. Or maybe you don’t remember Cooper very well. Cooper was absolutely seen as a better player by many, if not, his equal or on the same level. Diggs, playing without an elite QB, made zero pro bowls. Cooper, playing without an elite QB made 4.
  14. Chris Jones and coaching = the difference
  15. I hope so but I think 68 YPG is a little steep considering our offense and the fact that he still needs to find his way within it
  16. Our offense was OK against the Jets. They aren’t getting smoked every game. Arizona held SB contenders Detroit to 20 and SF to 23, so their D isn’t getting smoked every game. Miami had given up 17, 10 and 24 in 3 of their 5 games, so their D isn’t getting smoked every game. He’s, jax is a dumpster fire. but use whatever words you’d like to exaggerate your point- I’ll gladly show you how your words are incorrect.
  17. Yes, he doesn’t know the playbook as well as Hamlin and Rapp. They are currently the best options
  18. The chiefs struggled the majority of last season with Andy Reid calling plays. The nfl is hard and sometimes the opposition draws us great defensive game plans to contribute to an offense struggling. We’ve struggled to move the ball vs the Ravens (a notoriously great defense) that confused our OL with their pressures. We struggled vs the Texans without our only “good” WR. Our offense has been pretty good the other 4 games. And that’s with zero blue chip WRs.
  19. 3 of our 4 seasons have ended to one of the greatest dynasties in NFL history. If losing to them is “underperforming” so be it. KC is a wagon. They beat everyone. The other loss is to another “elite QB”.
  20. That’s good to hear. I didn’t understand that move. We have 76 LBs and 4 Ss
  21. I hear ya- and I think thats the likely direction we go, but it depends on how this offense gels with him. If the offense is unstoppable, make it happen for another year or two.
  22. Might be. I didn’t think signing a 20M WR was in our future But if he’s the missing piece and takes our team to a Lombardi or two, who cares. We’ll see this year. If he unlocks the O, keeping him might be best Beane went semi all in with the von trade. We hit the reset button 2 offseason later by trading diggs, a persona that had run its course, and may be replacing him his a bigger, faster and less expensive piece, while upgrading one round in the draft. he can do the same thing again in 2 more years when it doesn’t work.
  23. So you don’t like the trade? Knowing that we’ll likely get a comp pick in return for losing him? and resigning him for another season or two might be possible as well.
