I feel like the only success opposing offenses have throwing the ball is over the middle (at cam, the S and LBs) or to their RBs, Our corners have been stellar on the outside and vs the run. Taron has been great as well, but time missed excludes him from the list. Our CBs are our best unit other than QB. Enjoy them this season 3- Cook- His explosion through the hole and decisiveness has me hard. He looks like a back worthy of getting paid. Just not by us. Ray has been great in his own right, but cooks explosion through the hole just looks so special to me this season 4- Shakir- He’s one of the top slot WRs in the league. The reporter that compared him to a Beasley with great YAC hit the nail on the head imo. That’s what he reminds me of. My 2nd favorite play of the game (Keons TD being my favorite) yesterday was his catch and run where he setup Witherspoon and took him to the woodshed. He’s so nasty in the open field and I’m so confident he’s going to beat the first tackler on almost every tough. T5- Greg Rousseau- I don’t get enamored by sack stats like some. He’s a top 5 player on the teams T5- Offensive line run blocking- I took the easy way out but they’ve been great and deserve a mention. Dawkins has been our best OL, but our run blocking across the board has been great minus a game or 2. The OL is one of the biggest reasons Cook is towards the top of the list.

Gtd money is the only thing that matters and Houston gave him all of that this season. I don’t think he took less money. Leaving Buffalo to join a team with a better SB chance, maybe. Not sure what would’ve happened if they would’ve traded him to a lesser team than Buffalo. I don’t think he forced a trade to Houston specifically

The haul you proposed is ridiculously high for 9 games. I’d trade a 4th. Maybe a 3rd in 26. He’s playing pretty good again this season. Those that act like he’s washed up and done don’t know what they are talking about. He’s not the player he was but he’d be a nice addition. We’d have 5 good DE’s (GR, von, Aj, smoot and Mack). Start him opposite Rousseau. I think Aj and Von would be an amazing with limited snaps. Smoot out play in run downs and move inside to DT on passing down.

The Seattle OL and run schemes (due to their OC) are complete trash.

As a star, I agree. I think can be relevant in helping teams win game if he signs with KC, SF, Det, Cinci or another powerhouse as a 3rd option

I’ve read here that Cine is not a LB. I don’t think he’d be a fit vs Seattle especially without DK. More focus on getting walker the rock. It’ll be Spector imo. If he shows that he can’t diagnose quickly enough, which seems to be his biggest issue, I hope they give Andreeson a series or two to see what he can do.

But we’re not just erasing Milanos contract from the books. He has massive dead cap. It’s not like we can just cut Milano and pay wu with the savings. If the dead cap is 17 (but maybe it’s less post 6/1) and wu gets 13…… that’s a lot of money for a wlb, plus giving up a draft pick.

Idk, maybe I don’t understand his contract. But I see his cap hit as 16m and dead cap at 17m. If they cut him post June 1st does something change a great deal? I’d be shocked if Dorian isn’t his replacement. He’s only played LB with us. Resources are limited and Bernard has one year left on his contract. Do we pay him? If so, we need a Mike backup because Bernard is also made of glass, like Milano. I find it hard to believe that we would trade more resources for a third wlb knowing that Bernard needs to be replaced or resigned. we shall see- but I’d be stunned if we made a trade for him. I could see us trading for a LB, but an expensive one, 🤷🏻‍♂️ tbh, I hope I’m wrong, because I like the kid so much and he’d be a demon in this system.

It’s not about kenneth walker taking over the game as I am with Spector in coverage.. Geno is a demon over the middle of the field and that’s where Spector and Williams will be in coverage. Neither have been good in coverage and that’s where geno excels. although I am worried about walker in the pass game. We havent been able to cover RBs in the pass game very well- and now it’ll be Spector in coverage vs walker at times. Put bernard out there vs KC in the playoffs and I think we win that game. He’s a very good player. His replacements are not.

JOK doesn’t play MLB my guy. Spector would still play. Dorian would be on the bench. That’s why he isn’t ideal. If Dorian is the only guy you trust….then you need a Mike, not another wlb I know how special he is. I love him. I just don’t see how investing more picks and more money into another wlb makes any sense

MLB is an important position in this defense. You must also look at who the replacement is….and Bernard’s replacement sucks

Trading for and paying another small LB 13m+ plus paying Milano (cutting him costs an additional 1M in dead cap) plus paying Bernard his extension is what we “need”? Meanwhile we spent a 3rd on Dorian Williams, who improves weekly, and he’d be depth. we’d have 3 good outside Lbs, none of which play the middle (Milano, JOK + Dorian) meanwhile we never play 3 LBs. 🤷🏻‍♂️ how this makes any sense. I LOVE Jeremiah, was praying we’d trade up for him in 2021, but stayed put and drafted Boogie 😢. But we still have to pay Rousseau, Bernard, Benford and Shakir. I’d love to add a MLB for this coming season for when Bernard inevitably misses time, but not in favor of trading for a LB that isn’t capable of playing the middle while also getting paid big bucks Doesn’t make sense to me. Love the player, but we’ve already drafted milanos long term replacement….and he’s playing fairly well. 800k vs 13.5M
