From my memory- Phillips was always hurt in Az and I don’t remember ever seeing him play. pretty sure I recall Rousseau playing some inside at the start but I could be wrong. I think now could be a good time as we might be down a legit 3T (while having 4 1Ts in daquan, Joseph, settle and Poona). Having Floyd, Von, Aj and Shaq at DE along with Rousseau could allow more versatility. just a thought

@Billl @Zerovoltz Who’s worse now? Brown/wylie or smith/taylor? Taylor might be the worst RT in the league. I’d rather pay David Quessenberry 10M per year than pay Taylor 20M. 22.8 ppg…… before this beating at the hands of the raiders D. Down from a league leading 29.2 How’s that young WR unit working out? Rice looks great. Toney and Moore on par with Juwaanawoman Taylor. Just awful. The inferior (to the chiefs) Bills OL and WRs certainly aren’t looking inferior to KC in December. I hear ya. Personally, I just don’t like comparing week to week performances like that. Our D gave up 29 and a gw drive to Macnchz. Their high total for the season.

I agree with all that you’ve said this thread but Miami didn’t have Ramsey. He’s been a huge difference maker for them. I do think he’s overrated….but he’s much better than Kohou. I also think the Miami defensive players are becoming more comfortable with Fangios scheme and Fangio is finding his groove. Their D is much better than it was when we played them. Losing Phillips is a big blow for sure, but Van Ginkel is a great replacement. Meanwhile we won’t have Daquan’s and Milano, who both had great games in week 4. I think we’re the better team but I’m worried that their D is going to give our offense fits. They stop the run and they get lots of sacks.

I don’t think this is an option. Our resources are limited this offseason. We can’t afford to spend the money on Davis and our top offseason asset on the same position. unless we can get gabe for a bargain contract- I’d pass on him and use the 1st on a WR. Spend the money on Edge and DT. The majority of our DL are FA.

Phillips had been our starting 1T since the Miami game (until he got hurt!. He’d also play some 3 (and IS a 3T based on ability). As the games go on they’ve been switching up some player combinations. seems to me like Settle should be the healthy scratch when Daquan comes back. At that point, we’ll more or less have 3 1T and 1 3T until Phillips returns. If he returns. Maybe we’ll see more Rousseau rushing from the inside when daquan comes back.

He might not be an NFL championship caliber coach. he might not be worthy of being Josh Allens coach as he might be wasting his career. He might not have his team at their best every week. But he is most definitely an NFL caliber coach. The guy made the playoffs in his first year, breaking a 17 year drought with a RB playing QB. I don’t think he’s a great coach by any means, but I think he can still become a very good if not great coach. Will he? 🤷🏻‍♂️ but he IS NFL caliber.
