  1. If he had 3 more catches he would’ve been #2 in the nfl in yards per reception. Making big plays is what he did in college. He also made big plays last season. He posterized a plus tall and lanky corner in woolen. I expect him to get better. I think that’s fair to say about many players.
  2. I believe wholeheartedly that most people believe that the chances are greater that a 22 year old (as he turned 22 today) #33 overall pick improves from year one to year two. Does that mean he’s definitely going to improve? Definitely not….there’s definitely a chance they are what they are, but I feel the majority expect these type of players to improve. I do in most cases.
  3. I skipped to the last page of this thread- so apologies if I’m ignorant to the conversation in chiming in on. Keon was looking like a playmaker in the nfl prior to his injury. I was pleasantly pleased with his performance. I think most of us were. He looked like dog crap after the injury, so the question mark remains….but I don’t see why we shouldn’t be optimistic based on some of his sample size. He couldn’t get open in college….but he produced. He made big plays. Capable of making big plays in the NFL- regardless of whether or not he’s getting a lot of separation
  4. I heard someone say something like the the last 10 or so champions had a bye week 8 or 9 or later
  5. The value, imo, is fluid. It may not be worth it 3 years in a row, but if we win a SB in year 4- I think it’s worth it.
  6. There isn’t any unknown to Badol. He knows all. Just ask him
  7. 🙄 or maybe he has no intention of paying him anything because paying top dollar to RBs isn’t in his DNA
  8. @ Miami nov 9th. Love it
  9. I could see that in 2026. Rapp knows the system like the back of his hand at this point. It’ll take Hancock some time to catch up. Maybe by the playoffs 🙏🏻
  10. Most media speaking of him as an upgrad to Cam Lewis. Seems like the perfect starting point
  11. You’re suggesting we trade up for a RB in rd 4 and try to stash him on the PS. Even if we were able to stash him, I’d rather have walker and Hancock (the RB would’ve been selected over one of them) than a RB with speed Makes much more sense to draft one next year if cook leaves. We’d get to abuse him for 4 years rather than 3. He’d be RB4 on a team that rosters 3 RBs. Hancock looks legit.
  12. Yeah….i realize that. Beane and McD didn’t realize it until they drafted cook. Singletary, gore, Yeldon. Singletary, moss, yeldon Singletary, Moss, Breida (good speed, yet 26 carries). we had close to zero speed in our backfield for 95% of our snaps over 3 seasons. That was their choice. seems like they’ve realized that was stupid of them. Hopefully.
  13. I sure hope to add someone with home run potential if we let him go.
  14. The more I read and watch on this guy, I start to wonder how he was even available in rd 5
  15. I hear ya- and if we don’t sign him, I’ll understand why. I do think our offense will miss him if Ray and Ty are RB 1-2 (taking nothing away from either. I love them both). Alluding to the final paragraph…. I feel a 2nd rd pick is likely more valuable than a 15M contract. 4 years of paying minimum. Use it on a RB to replace Cook and you won’t be able to draft a DL, WR that could be worth 20-30M a year at a premium position.
  16. Just watched cooks 2024 highlights. Then watched Ray Davis’ career highlights. Cooks speed is a difference maker. And he runs through contract now too. If he could only pass protect. I used to think I’d pay him 12M aav max, but now I’d be good with 15 if it were structured like @GunnerBill proposed. I also used to think he was a lock to sign elsewhere after this season, but I’m starting to think he could return. He’s our 2nd best player on O and most dangerous player with the ball in his hands. any chance Beane slaps the tag on him?
  17. Statistically similar stats to AJ Epenesa. Much better off grade
  18. Always the pillar of optimism.
  19. They better!! I’m really high on Strong. Toss up between he and Jackson for best vakue imo. I didn’t watch any of Hancock prior to the draft and I’m convinced he’s a future starter at FS or Nickel before his rookie contract expires
  20. Well, we’re about to find out what the rest of the league feels about him
  21. Yes- he had 31 catches while leading the WR unit in snaps- he was in there to block on more snaps than he was to catch passes.
  22. I like Keon and I think Palmer is a good (far from great) outside WR. A better outside target than Keon at the moment due to his ability to separate….whereas Keon doesn’t have much ability to get separation. I see Keon as a big Shakir with jump ball ability. Best in the slot but will play outside due to necessity. Get him the ball and let him run past/through the defenders. its pretty obvious to me based on what you wrote, that you just dislike Palmer as a player. So maybe you’re the one that is underrating Palmer. I like Keon plenty….i just think he has to improve his route running to play outside full time.
  23. I think that’s higher end as well….for our offense. A run first, spread the ball around to keep the defense off balance type offense. regarding Mack’s PT….he was in there to block more than he was to catch passes….no?
  24. Him being top 10 in some stats doesn’t prove that he and his QB are in sync…. He’s a talented TE. I’m not disputing that…... Watching the games last season, you thought Josh and Kincaid were on the same page? I most certainly did not
  25. And then last year - 39% of the passes his way past 10 yards were uncatchable, including the pass that dalton had to dive for in which he was injured. I’m as big a Kincaid as you’ll find…..last year was painful to watch. Maybe they can figure it out again this year. But last year was gross as a Kincaid-a-holic.
