  1. Ravens Lions bears eagles
  2. The bold is my stance in this conversation. So it shouldn’t be odd. If that’s the reason we didn’t win SBs those years, it only makes sense that those players were locks to make plays.
  3. As I said- elite players would increase our chances- but they certainly aren’t locks to make clutch plays and imo, aren’t the reason we haven’t advanced further. Non elite players are certainly capable of making big plays and have throughout history. Yes- Elite players would help
  4. Elite players will improve our chances of winning a Super Bowl. I don’t think the lack of elite players is the reason we lost to KC last season. Or the year before. Or in 2021.
  5. Man, there’s some abomination takes here. We had a great offense and a meh defense. Make a big play on D or a catch on O and we may have been champs. Make plays. Call good plays on O and D. Get some luck with injuries. Did we lose the game because we lacked 1 or 2 elite players? Not imo. We lost because we didn’t make the clutch plays and had some bad luck (Benford, Rapp and every judgement call going against us).
  6. You think he’s a better WR than corner huh? I hadn’t heard anyone say that yet. Not disagreeing, as I’ve only watched a couple highlight tapes of him because he’s not really worth scouting as a potential Bills pick. seems like the consensus says he’s a better corner.
  7. That’s the ideal draft. Trey Amos rd 2. 😂 I haven’t had much time to watch tape this year but I got a few hours in today. If Amos were our pick at 30, I’d be very happy. Coming from a guy that really wants an impact DL more than anything. I really like Amos’ game. I think he should be a 1st rd lock
  8. Haven’t done one in 2-3 years now.
  9. Lol- thanks for posting. Can’t ever take anything Chad says with any sort of confidence after that mock 😂
  10. Yeah he’d be awesome as long as he can cover and tackle at the nfl level. I like the traits 💯 I really think he could be the pick at 30.
  11. Yeah me too. I love porter. Age and experience are a little scary but I’d roll the dice on his traits with hopes mcd can coach him up. It’s a similar scenario with Elam. That didn’t work out and it may have cost us a Super Bowl. So I wouldn’t be surprised if they were be looking to add a more nuanced corner that has a better chance to step in and be good year 1. That’s assuming we don’t add a capable starter between now and then. But I expect Dane and Ingram to be the rookies primary competition I do like porter though. Would love him in rd 2
  12. It would be a mistake imo. Our young tackles look promising. This offseason is lining up to be your nemesis. It might not be at 30 but a corner is coming in rd 1 or 2 unless Beane adds a CB worthy or starting. Would you be ok with starting Dane Jackson at CB2?
  13. @Mr. WEO : @GunnerBill posted his mic drop rebuttal on 3/17- you didn’t reply to it at all. You were working “last night” huh? That’s one helluva shift from 3/17 until last night. Yes, what we call crickets.
  14. I love me some Ty. i LOOVED me some Fred. Two gamers I’m happy to root for
  15. Hahaha- just reading this now. Crickets since. 😂 he said 1 Takes it like a man and admits defeat- +775 Insists he’s right and moves the goalposts or finds one stat that suits his argument -900 Whatcha got?
  16. I’m not saying Davis is elite or not. I’d lean towards not, but using the ypc from last season doesn’t mean much. Davis had a much higher percentage of carries at the end of games with a lead. He ran into several brick walls vs defenses knowing we were killing clock. Edit: cook is clearly the better RB. His speed is different. I had hopes that we would retain him, but I don’t think we’re going to pay 15m aav. id be ok paying him 12ish
  17. That would be a debacle. I like the prospect but spending a 2nd on bishop and then a 1st on another safety the following year- while we have a solid safety in Rapp under contract for the next 2 years on a good deal would likely be a terrible allocation of assets. If he became the elite of the elite of the position, he could change that I suppose.
  18. If you’re going to use the catch % against you should also mention the rate of uncatchable balls thrown his way, unless you didn’t know it was the highest in the league amongst TE’s and among the highest in the league amongst pass catchers
  19. Shemar scares me too. Similar to how I felt about Josh Allen coming out of college. I didn’t feel like we could be so lucky to have the kid reach his true potential. I didn’t feel like our franchise would be able to develop him in that way. Maybe too big of a risk at this point? Or do we have to roll the dice on the possibly elite talent? I think another team will have already rolled the dice so we likely wont see what Beane would’ve done. His past has shown that he would roll the dice and bet on traits. The past has also shown he’s likely to draft for need and would draft the best available CB or DT
  20. Doesn’t really matter what you want. We’ll see how it plays out, but I’d be shocked if we invest another decent pick/more cap at the position for 2025 Rapp, Bishop, Forrest and Hamlin is likely out S room this season
  21. I think we got that middling WR in shenault. Aka, camp body. I expect us to draft a WR somewhere along the lines- The way I see it- Shakir, Palmer, Keon, Samuel are all locks. Draftee, Shenault, shavers, hamler, Virgil and other battling for the 5th spot. Maybe a 6th WR if one stands out on STs….but I doubt it Those looking for an upgrade are going to be sad. I could see drafting one, but I don’t think we’ll be adding a proven starter at this point. Better get used to our current S room
