I think he’s going to be a solid rotational player while Hoecht is out and then when Bosa inevitably misses time with injury. Statistical predictions are really my thing for edge rushers, but I think we’ll be happy with his play He’s not even close to 310 lbs. think more like 260ish. Not sure positive, but pretty sure that sites, including the Bills are still using his college weight

💯- he was really coming on strong before that hit and I expect improvement and for him to be an exciting playmaker all over the field

Extreme exaggeration. We haven’t averaged under 26.5 ppg since Josh’s evolution. We averaged 30.9 last season. You think that McB is counting on us averaging almost a TD less per game (24ppg) after losing your boy Mack and a 50% snap count cooper (while adding Palmer and Moore)? The math doesn’t add up. i think they thought the D was our biggest issue (more specially DL and CB) and they addressed it in the draft and FA…. While keeping our QB, RB, OL, TE intact while swapping out 2 WRs for 2 WRs. Also counting on Keon and Kincaid improving on last season

Fair assessment. 👍🏻 edit: I guess where we differ most is regarding our belief in McD. I think he’s capable. He’s regularly shown that he can devise game plans to stifle Mahomes in the regular season. Then the playoffs come around and we can’t stop them. I would attribute some of this due to injury- not strictly McD. Looking at the corners we’ve run out there in the playoffs compared to the regular season is a stark contract. Benford has missed 95% of the snaps in the last two loses- which left us with Douglas/Elam and Douglas(on a sprained ankle)/Dane. Neither pairing is Lombardi quality and hurt our D dramatically imo. If Benford plays both games- I think we win at least 1. Throw in AJ Klein playing and the investment in Von Miller yielding us nothing for 3 years in the playoffs. maybe that contributes to your lack of confidence in McD - and that’s fair as well. Does he need his D to be injury free in order to beat them? Maybe so. Will the D ever be healthy come playoffs? Doubtful. I get it.

Correct- In order to win the Super Bowl- we can’t lose in the playoffs. So the losing playoff games are the only games I’m talking about. The other games are 💯 inconsequential whether you agree or don’t agree this that statement. Each game is its own entity. I’m not lacking context- you’re refusing to acknowledge the context of which I’m speaking. The national narrative is that our defense has failed Josh Allen. It’s not that Josh Allen and the offense failed our defense. You disagree and it makes sense why you do. This has been your argument for years (not enough investment in the WR position, which I agree with). When I say “main reason”- I’m referring to our season ending without a Lombardi. Not sure what you are referring too in regards to “main reason”. Each game is its own separate entity. The offense underperforming in the divisional games has ZERO bearing on our season ending. Side note-You refer to being clutch being a separate entity from the entire game…. Which I agree with…..yet are somehow lumping prior wins with eventual losses. If executing in the clutch is different than executing in the 1st qtr or throughout the game, it’s fair to say that executing in the afccg or the SB is different than executing in the 1st and 2nd rounds. You’re playing both sides of the fence in order to make your point. Either you lump everything together in your argument….or you don’t. You’re doing both.

💯 of the blame isn’t really a thing in over the course of 4 playoff runs. The offense had chances in a two of those losses and came up short- which takes some of the blame off of the D. Not all. Not the majority- but negates the 💯 blame comment imo.

I don’t think the conversation is strictly based on this season. Our offense has been better than our defense but hasn’t really lit it throughout the playoffs every year- although we’ve had some tremendous games. I do think the defense has been worse than our offense and should carry more blame He is all of what you say….. but that doesn’t mean he can’t be called out for a bad play. If he didn’t get wrecked that play- we probably win the game. That doesn’t mean he isn’t a great player

is he arguing against that notion? I don’t think anyone in this conversation is. the still shots of the Kincaid drop tell half the story. He should have made a tough catch- He was also ridiculously wide open and may have scored- but Josh was fooled by Spags (best playoff DC ever in my book) and wasn’t able to make a better throw because of it. So was that Kincaid failing him or was the Allen failing Kincaid? A bit of blame to both sides imo. Unlike dawkins getting steamrolled by Jones. I like Diggs dropping the dime.
