  1. I’d rather have Sneed as long as the refs let him get away with the same stuff he does with the chiefs. Going to be interesting to see how much $ he’s gonna get. 22M+ for sure.
  2. Idk if he’s still hurting. Full practice today with no limitations edit: apologies- apparently he was limited according to the injury report. I had read a report that he had no limitations prior
  3. Shaq not practicing- might be out?
  4. Unless you have two TVs! but I agree…. So stupid of the league not to flex that game
  5. I guess I should’ve went a little more in depth. Not only would we not gain any cap space- we would actually lose an additional 9M in cap space….. from 23M cap hit to 32m And that’s not the only time. Can’t recall if it was LAC or Dal, but I recall at least one rep where he was rushing from the left side and was doubled
  6. You really think that’s the only question? As if there is zero chance he will ever be a contributor again? I don’t think he’ll ever be worth his salary, but I do think he’ll be worth rostering next season. to answer your question, no, we can’t cut him. We can…..but we won’t save any money. 32.5M dead cap
  7. For sure, Bernard has been the rock keeping the D together with his mental acumen calling plays as well as his performance. i too thought Bernsrd would be weakest link on the D (Spencer brown the weakest on O), but by the time Milano went down. I had 💯 confidence in him
  8. Thanks for the input. I think you guys are much better than your record suggests based solely on your DL. They can wreck game plans.
  9. Agreed on all fronts. I’ll add: -christian Benford continues to look like a steal. A perfect low cost CB2 to play opposite Douglas the next two seasons. -Tyrel Dodson- wow. The biggest surprise of the year. When Milano went out, I wasn’t worried about Bernard. I was scared to death of TD25. He’s responded and made himself some money this offseason. -our DL has saved our season. Without their collaborative effort and McDs scheming sacks with brining LBs and Ss, our season would be down the toilet. Bad part is- the majority of the DL are FAs. - the OL was 💩 vs LAC, but they’ve all outplayed their salaries this season imo. I think we have a solid foundation.
  10. Our DL was awful minus Jerry, we had no chance
  11. 💯 Yeah I’m hoping…… Just seems like Brady’s focus has been on the run game and specifically getting gilliam/edwards/knox on the field to help them run. I don’t think that’s going to help very much vs this pats d.
  12. That was also with Dorsey. Doesn’t seem like Brady has a clue how to use the kid or how to use 12 personnel. I’m not holding my breath for a Kincaid breakout any time soon. NE’s D plays TE’s very well.
  13. Lol…. I didn’t say it made you stupid. You’re the one that is inferring that it does. Those that hate him for signing the contract or because he was injured and hasn’t come back to form…..well, those people are a different story. Hate Beane for the contract. Hate McD for playing him. Hate Von for his off field stuff. Just don’t hate him because he hasn’t lived up to his contract due to injury.
  14. Ok…..and you can’t stand him because why? Beane: ”hey von, here’s some cash up front. It’ll allow us to sign more players and is more cash in hand for you!” von: “sounds good” The GM wanted him to restructure….he agreed to something that the GM thought was helping the team….and you can’t stand the player? 🤷🏻‍♂️ doesn’t make sense to me
  15. In the group- I think the best players are: Peppers Gates Willis - short career hurts his chances in some peoples eyes. All pro every year he was healthy. WR- I think andre was a better player than Holt. Holy has a championship. Both are better than Wayne imo. All 3 will likely get in over time. Jared and Eric Allen deserve to be in. They have a great last name and their play was worthy of the yellow jacket. I don’t view Hester, Taylor, Anderson and Harrison as HoFers. Woodson, Evans and Freeney are the toughest calls imo. Maybe next year, I wouldn’t put them in over the others up top.
  16. As I’ve said upthread……if you don’t like him for his “alleged” off field action, I can respect that. As I’ve also said upthread- the OPs thread has no mention of the off field stuff. This is injury/perfomance/expectation related- so I’m keeping my conversation there
  17. You can’t stand him because our GM decided to restructure his contract which inevitably allowed us to sign Leonard Floyd? 🤷🏻‍♂️
  18. I can see why you say “not so far fetched”. I could see all of those things happening. Just win and we won’t have to sweat.
  19. I hear ya- I just can’t hate on von for not being what we paid him to be 13 months removed from tearing his acl. Am I disappointed in Vons ROI? Absofrickenlutely. I’m not upset with Von in the least. My expectations for his play changed the second he was injured. My expectations regarding our ROI from Von changed as well. i do believe he can help us win a Super Bowl
  20. But why would the investment Brandon Beane made into Von affect whether or not he should be given some slack? if someone doesn’t like the guy because of his off the field stuff, so be it. I can respect that. if someone doesn’t want to cut him some slack because we aren’t getting the player they were expecting, due to an injury, I can’t get down with that. To each their own, but it’s just doesn’t compute with my way of thinking. Give Beane hell for giving a huge contract to a 33 year old pass rusher with injury concerns. That makes sense. Giving Von hell for not being the player we signed doesn’t make sense. You can bet he’s giving his all, trying to be the player we need
  21. Yes and no. I do think the acl injury affects a corner more than pass rusher. I also think that Tre tearing his acl at age 26 is different than Von Miller tearing his acl at 33
