Eager to see who can play this week. If we are without Bernard and Taron again, I think we’re in trouble. Other than Babich, the pass rush will dictate our success to the greatest extent. If the pass rush can’t get pressure, it’s gonna be a long night. I can’t stand Mixon, but he’s the type of RB that can take advantage of our LB/slot backups

Agreed. We are doing him a disservice by not having any true outside threats teams are worrying about. Would be nice if Keon could find some of what Nico Collins has developed in terms of using his strength at the top of routes to create separation and win. All 3 of those sideline passes vs the ravens impressed me. The dropped sucked but he used the perfect amount of force to push off without getting the flag. It’s an art and the many of the best WRs are great in that aspect. if he can continue to make plays downfield vs single coverage, it’ll open everything up.

It would be….but how much are you ok paying a safety a year after using a huge resource (2nd rd pick) on Cole Bishop. I don’t want to dedicate that much to the position tbh. In theory, they could be a dynamic pairing that could help our D become elite….but I’d rather use the draft picks and cap space elsewhere. I think Brant will agree, but who knows with McD

Idk if the bolded is true from the tv cam. He had a nice play vs Jax. Unless you actually watch the all-22, I don’t see how you could come to the bolder conclusion. I agree with everything else in your post, but I do think Keon is going to be a nice outside weapon and I believe that our RBs can make plays outside the tackles. Like everything, I think it starts and ends with Brady (and the OL). What kind of confusion he’s able to create for opposing defenses + his ability to put his players in position to not be confused by opposing defenses. Baltimore was able to dominate both sides of that battlefield. Brady won the first 3 weeks (minus the first half vs az)

No offense, but without watching the all-22, there’s no way to tell if Kincaid is getting separation. Tv cam and QB decisions only tell a small part of the story imo. I was also in favor of Henry. He’d add a different dimension that teams would have to respect

Nah, they’ll probably suspend him next week for the next 4 games. The chiefs will say he isn’t injured and keep him on the roster, he’ll serve his suspension and return just in time for the game vs Buffalo with a bionic knee that has 2 hands attached

I agree with you…. I think most people just assume AR won’t finish the season and Tyrod ain’t “him”. The 5th WR drafted isn’t necessarily the 5th best WR….. Adams was the 9th WR drafted

Have you seen this to be the case watching the all-22? If not, have you watched any videos illustrating this to be true? are teams (other than the jags playing a good amount of man vs us? I didn’t think that was the case. I’m not doubting you, just wondering if this is a fact based on visuals, because I’d like to see it. I haven’t purchased the all-22 yet this season so I’d like to hear from those who have. I’ve watched a couple of clips that showed him getting some separation and a handful where he beat his man only to be doubled

This is good news for our team. 4 less chances of him getting injured. Sucks for him, being a scumbag and all.

He switched it up some vs the ravens in the playoffs. iirc, taron played 60% and Klein played 40%. The biggest problem was getting outnumbered in the box so often. I’m fine with the nickel as long as we have a somewhat stacked box. More like, can he pass block? That was the biggest problem according to Marino. I’ve yet to watch the all-22, but it’s Mario’s opinion that there was separation but the IOL was getting whooped and didn’t handle the transitions well

Pretty sure team passing around the league is down 16 ypg from last year and almost 40 yyg lower than 2020. It’s also the lowest since 2003. Pretty sure team rushing is the second highest yards per game since 1988. 4.4 yards per rush is tied for the 2nd highest in league history

He’s definitely not conservative. You developed that feelings years ago and while he’s adapted, you haven’t. scared….. that’s not something quantifiable so I won’t comment on it. But being conservative is and he isn’t. He’s shown the ability to change and adapt and that’s gives me a glimmer of hope. I think he’s actively trying to improve as a HC. Turns out no one is able to throw the ball very effectively this season and the running game and defense is what wins
