Agreed. Guys came up and made big plays. Allen was great. But there were solid contributions all around the board last night imo Edit: those saying it was all Allen. the Allen led offense scored 3 points in the second half. Luckily, our defense only gave up 3. The bent but didn’t break and it led to the win. Players steps up and made big plays on D As stated above- Josh led our offense to 3 points in the second half of a 3 point game. The W can’t be ALL on him. The defense held and deserve some credit

🤷🏻‍♂️ in the first one, to me, it looks like he knows the play is about to be over and decides to get chippy. in the second, it’s tough to know what his responsibility was. Looks like Taron was supposed to hold outside containment. You think damar was going to run all the way around the OL/DL to the sideline in that fit? 🤷🏻‍♂️ I don’t think so, but maybe. Either way, I don’t think it was such a terrible play. the third one happens on most plays. He didn’t really impede Wilson’s movement even though he arm was across his body. DBs hold all the time. The good ones get away with it. Not saying that he’s good, but it was subtle hold that the good ones know how to execute. i think his 3 good plays are much better than those 3 gifs are bad. That said, I wish we could replace him, but I don’t think there’s anyone we can trade for that would know the system the way McD needs it known, in order to have an impact. Edwards is our only hope unless Bishop can really show improvement. He’s similar to Elam in the way that he’s never played in a system like ours. He’s a physical speciman that the coaching staff believe they can develop. After watching him vs Houston, I’m thinking next year might be the earliest

And he also made 3 nice plays. He had a good second half after a rough 1st half. When I said he played “fine”, i didn’t mean he had a good game. I just didn’t think he was detriment. listen, I want Hamlin out of the starting lineup too, Bishop doesn’t look ready and idk what the deal is with Edwards, but Hamlin knows the calls better than both possible replacements - just watched the clips you posted….i didn’t think any of those plays were egregiously bad….but maybe my eyesight sucks and I’m missing something. I agree with all of that- with the one caveat being the jets terrible OL play and Rodgers ability to stay healthy behind it. huge roll of the dice. I would think the chances of him staying healthy and being ready come playoffs are just under 50% their schedule is their glimmer of hope.

I love Coleman on dig routes. He’s good coming back for the ball, big body the corners have to work around, big body that the corners have to tackle. He made a nice play on the deep ball with Reed covering him. Great play by Reed

Idk- I think they need someone to get separation on the outside. Some speed. Sutton is a better version of Keon and Hollins imo. Which is fine I suppose, but I’d rather have speed. He may not be the name Sutton is, but I’d take Slayton over Sutton. I’d take cooper over Sutton. Diontae Johnson too. Not sure who is available tbh. I wouldn’t hate Sutton. He’s good for sure. I just think his skill set matches what we already have. If the main motivation make a trade is to get Mack Hollins of the field, trading for Sutton makes a ton of sense. I just don’t think McB is motivated in that way.

Hamlin played fine last night. Cine is now a LB. Hamlin makes the DB calls and will likely be our starter all season imo. in order to cut bass, we’d take an additional 3M cap hit. I agree, he’s awful and something needs to be done- I just don’t know how we’re going to cut him….. especially if we’re going to add a WR and a S….. math doesn’t work

There are instances in which every WR gets locked down completely. It happens multiple times a game to every WR. I agree that I really want to get him more involved, but it’s difficult to put him in the slot because of Shakir and Kincaid. I’d like to see him on the slants into the EZ like Hollins has been getting, but hollins has been winning enough. He has good burst off the line. His body control just isn’t as tight as Coleman’s.

offense- Allen Davis Kincaid OL- minus the penalties Mack Hollins kidding defense- they made clutch plays tonight- Rapp- his best attribute was an asset for us tonight. 👍🏻 Bernard- this kid is a stud Taron-helluva play-we sorely missed him aj- 2 huge 3rd down sacks, one bs flag. our defense gave up a good amount of yards but held them to 4/12 on third down and played well in the red zone. Good play calling on D in the red zone. I’d consider giving Babich a game ball Benford made a couple nice plays. Garrett Wilson is special . And our defense got stops. One fluke TD. The jets had one legit td drive minus the Hail Mary. We got stops That was a helluva play.

It’s the reason he’s taking so many big hits. He’s had a ton of roll to the right opportunities this season and most haven’t turned out how we’re used to. but that pass and catch to ray davis was beautiful. was good to see him scrambled left and get that huge 3rd down td to Knox. That was a big balls play. Such a stud

One thing that needs to improve is scramble drill. We made some plays tonight in that regard, but the amount of time Josh gives them, you’d figure they have to improve in that respect. I really thought Keon, Shakir and Kincaid would be sufficient targets in that respect.

The safeties came up big today. Taylor Rapp gets a game ball. He laid the smack down in a great way tonight.
